Revolutionary Offensive Muslim Fatwa Against West

Going from Defensive to Offensive Fatwa
Nadene Goldfoot

What is a fatwa? It's a legal document from a religious law specialist of Islam on a specific issue. In other words, it's Islam's way of saying that something is "kosher" to do according to Islam.

A fatwa just issued is joining the ranks of terrorism. Dr. Imad Mustafa of al Azhar University in Egypt issued a new type of fatwa allowing offensive jihad against those of us that are not Muslims. This allows those radicals to pursue us who are called infidels into our own country, even if we haven't acted aggressively towards them. All we have to do is interfere with their religious devotions.

This fatwa is designed to enforce Islam by demanding that any Muslim practice is not to be blocked. This means that Muslims living in a foreign country intend to practice such Islamic institutions such as polygamy, child marriage and building mosques wherever they see fit. They intend to wear scarves and burkas and be given the special privileges that they need without interference. If they are confronted, watch out!

Hopefully, not everyone is as contempuous as Dr. Mustafa and will not practice such a fatwa. There are radical people who might, however. Right now the Arabs of the Middle East are quite as discontented as the Tunisians have been in not having jobs. Many are in an "unprecedented state of anger and frustration" due to their country's economic status. Those living in the USA should be happy that they are here.

The people that issue fatwas certainly have a different outlook than a Western thinker. Sheikh Ali Osman from the Egyptian Waqt ministry decided that pigs were reincarnated Jews, thus it was okay to slaughter them, but they are not allowed to eat them. The Arabs are actively attempting to remove every religion but Islam from the Arabian peninsula while they are spreading out into Western lands with theirs.

Holland has been one country warning others of the problems they have had with their Muslim immigrants. New York City is now fighting a mosque going up within a few blocks from 9/11. England and France has seen observant Jewish men attacked on the streets. A fatwa was issued against a Danish cartoonist several years ago which was singling out a specific person. This new one issued is non specific. Salman Rushdie had a fatwa on him for writing "The Satanic Verses" in 1989. The child's show, Pokemon has a fatwa on it. The Muslim invoker said that it promotes the theory of evolution, a Jewish Darwinist theory that conflicts with Islamic principals.

The Rothschild Family and the Banking Industry

Nadene Goldfoot

The Rothschilds is a celebrated family of financiers that descend from Moses Rothschild of the 16th century. Frankfurt-am-Main was their home town. The name is derived from the red shield painted on the family's door. Today the name is bantered back and forth as the sole cause of all the world's banking faults and is named in conspiracy films as such. "Blame the Jews" seems to be the call of anyone dodging the true causes of problems in the world. The Rothschild family had a talent for banking and thus making money, something others are very envious of, and that envy comes out in blaming them and Jews for their problems.

Many many years ago in the Middle Ages, Jews were not allowed to own property. They were denied the occupation of being farmers as well as any trading or even handicrafts. Just about the only occupation allowed to them was in dealing with money, as this was looked upon with great distain by Christians. The open and regulated lending of money in northern European countries hence fell to the Jews. Their possible profit was taken from them by exorbitant taxation and the profession became a government monopoly in actuality. Rates of interest were carefuly regulated. There were non Jews engaging in the profession who weren't as religious and they charged a great deal more. In those days, Jewish loans performed important functions. Kings came to depend on them for many transactions.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild b: 1743-d: 1812 was originally a dealer in antique coins. He became the financial agent to the landgrave of HesseCassel during the French Revolutioinary wars. He had 5 sons who followed their father's trade by moving to different European centers. James b: 1792-d: 1868 was the youngest and founded the Paris house in 1817. Though the government changed hands, he was able to stay afloat, even helping to promote the railroads. He was a huge philanthropist. He had 3 sons who followed in his footsteps. Edmond (Baron) was interested in intellectual and artistic things and had a great art collection. The first aliyah members, Jewish people who returned to Palestine in the late 1800's, asked him for financial help. He did. He also sent agricultural experts to them. He visited the country 5 times; in 1887, 1893, 1899, 1914 and 1925. He also bought 125,000 acres and helped settle the Galilee and Samaria. In his last years he worked with Chaim Weizmann and Sokolow. He was buried with his wife in Zikhron Yaacov in 1954.

Middle East Fears

Dictator's Leaving in Tunisia Not Due to Israel

Nadene Goldfoot

Everying thing bad happening has been blamed on either Jews or Israel. Even the 9/11 Twin Towers falling has been blamed on Israel with some extremists. I might add that our American government has been blamed for that, as well. The conspiracy theories keep on making the circuit on the web and in films. Right now Ahmadinejad is threatening Israel and the USA, telling us to stop sedition in Lebanon or the Lebanese will cut off our hands, and that our decline is on a fast track. Even the Saudi investigator into the assassination of the former president of Lebanon has backed out saying that Lebanan is dangerous. Lebanon is made of Christians, Sunni Muslims and Shiite Muslims, the last two as compatable with each other as Ireland's Protestants and Catholics. They had a sharing power practice that went by the wayside after the assassination. They are no longer the role-models of the Middle East. Terrorism has upset the apple cart.

What Arabs fear most is losing their power and control over their people. Israel coming along practicing their democratic values is a wrench thrown into their works. This seems to be more of a threat than practicing Judaism. Since Jews don't proselyze, Arabs aren't really concerned about that. These rulers have felt they have to stop this idea of freedom.

Like a chess game, the Arab chieftains have put the USA on the defensive because they have backed the hated Israel. Democracy and it's inherent evils are too close. The USA changed its tactic trying to show how fair they are to Arab countries by giving a cold shoulder to Israel . They've been quite successful showing that they aren't favoring Israel. Even a lot of Israelis now believe this. Poor decisions have been made, such as breaking our promise to Lebanon to be against Hizbullah.

The West needs to see that as dictatorships fall, such as in Tunisia, it leaves Israel as the only democratic state in the Middle East, a country that is aligned with the West with Western values and can be depended on. My question is, can Israel trust the West? Evidently the Knesset still does.

A Tunisian, an Egyptian and an Algerian have recently set themselves on fire in protest of their respective governments. They didn't do it because they were protesting Israel and the Palestinian situation. Most average citizens everywhere are concerned with their own needs and happiness. These three weren't able to be heard at all in their type of governments. Tunisia just had an overthrow of their government because the people all united into a demonstation against a president acting like a monarchy, in power for 23 years and not doing what was necessary for his people.

The Palestinians have been raised since gestation on the idea that Israelis are to be hated and killed. Their mothers have taught this, their schools are teaching it, and they are brainwashed into not being concerned with their own desires other than seeing Israel disappear. As a teacher I'm very concerned with how Israel is ever going to bridge this monumental elephant in the room. To me it would be a sign that Abbas's Fatah is actually interested in making peace if schools start teaching neighborly behavior with Israelis and then hope the children can convince their parents that this is the best route to take. For what is said in English to Westerners is not what is being said to his subjects. Then again, the idea of freedom's democracy and mutual decisions of getting along with Israel would have to take place in Gaza with Hamas and all their little factions of terrorism. How long will all this take? Perhaps another 62 years. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Israeli fears right now must be on the UN planning on voting against them for building in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem, which is part of their own capital. Though USA and Israel will be against this vote, it may pass. A Jewish family of 10 just made aliyah to Israel, fearing the safety of their lives if they remain in Tunisia, while another more cautious family came to Israel on just a visitation from Tunisia.
Of course, Ahmadinejad's threats to destroy Israel with atomic weaponry in his hands is no political rhetoric like Palin's crosshairs. His threats have to be taken seriously. I ask what the U.N. has done about his constant threats? How long the stuxnet virus will warp his computers is not known, but every day is a blessing, for it's stopping an atomic threat to all of us from Iran. Article by Caroline Glick

Martin Luther King, Spokesman for Israel

Nadene Goldfoot
Yesterday we all celebrated Martin Luther King Day in the USA by closing government offices such as the post office and having programs about him in many schools. How many of us knew that he was a speaker for Israel? He said that Israel was a great outpost of democracy and that it gave security to Jews. Everyone should be against bigotry and he certainly was. He was our staunch supporter.

Dr. King even spoke at a 1968 national rabbinical convention and said that it was a marvelous example of what can be done. He was impressed with how the desert land was transformed into an oasis-of brotherhood and democracy. This could have happened if the "Palestinians" had the greatness that he had and could have seen what could have been done between the two groups. He went on to state that Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality. Oh how I wish that he hadn't been assassinated and could still be our spokesman. Truer words were never spoken. Israel needs to be secure from constant attacks. Whether mortars land in empty fields or on someone's roof, Israelis are in a constant state of anxiety. He was one man who understood our history and our fight for survival.

In the early days of Black and Jewish relationships, young Jewish men were the first to go with Blacks in their fight in the South by marching with them to help them gain equality in America. Jewish organiations had offered material, moral and financial support to the Civil Rights Movement. Together they protested discrimination throughout the South, and sometimes died for doing so.

Blacks and Jews shared a spiritual base and both were born during oppressive times. The song, "Let My People Go" comes right from Moses's statement to the Pharoah of Egypt so long ago.

Somehow after Dr. King was assassinated, our bonds loosened with each other and we stopped being such close friends. I have often wondered if we didn't help a little too much and became rather offensive about it. A good leader delegates much and I wonder if we fogot that in this fight. Somehow more antagonistic Black leaders took over the helm and directed their ship in another direction that wasn't favorable to either Jews or Israel. If King had lived, I don't think this would have ever happened.

From now on I'll have more tears for Dr. King on his day, having more reason than ever to admire him.

How Israel Came To Be

Nadene Goldfoot

Jews had moved from Germany up to Russia and the surrounding areas in their wanderings after 70 AD when Jerusalem fell to the Roman soldiers. Russia had confined them to live in one area called the "Pale of Russia". You had to be a special person to get documents that allowed you into Russia proper for any business. Pograms were going on all the time. Look at the movie "Fiddler on the Roof" for one example. Very often they were worse than what was portrayed in that movie. Read "Golda" by Peggy Mann and see what happened to Golda Meir, Prime Minister of Israel. By 1896, Theodor Herzl, a Jewish reporter in Austria-Hungary, wrote that because of the growing antisemitism that he was witnessing, he proposed an establishment of a Jewish State. He gave birth to Zionism.

Along came World War I and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, which was aligned with Germany. Great Britain wound up with the British Mandate for Palestine. Chaim Weizmann, Jewish chemist, had done much to increase the odds that Britain and her allies would win the war with his invention of acetone. He had been working on making synthetic rubber in 1904, but ten years later was working on gunpowder for Winston Churchill. "After the war, when British Prime Minister Lloyd George asked what honors Weizmann might want for his considerable contributions, Weizmann answered, "There is only one thing I want. A national home for my people." Lord Balfour then gave Weizmann 15 minutes to explain why that national homeland should be Palestine. Weizmann was an eloquent spokesman and convincingly stated his case. The result was the Balfour Declaration, which affirmed Britain's commitment to the establishment of a Jewish homeland."

Because of this and the Zionists' presentation of their need for their own state, Lord Balfour and his committee issued on November 2, 1917, a formal letter called the Balfour Declaration saying that they viewed favorably the establishment in Palestine of a "national home for the Jewish people. After seeing that the Jews rejected settling in Uganda, which was what Balfour suggested for a homeland, he went along with their desire to return to their original homeland. "The British would do their best to help them achieve this object. They wouldn't do anything to "prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities (Arabs) in Palestine. This was from the foreign Secretary, Arthur James Balfour to Baron Walter Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community. It was for the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. This spoke for the British Cabinet after an agreement made on October 31, 1917. They also said it was a sign of "sympathy with the Jewish Zionist aspirations."

Eventually in 1947 after the World War II, Great Britain turned its Mandate over to the United Nations who then partitioned the land into two states, one Arab and one Jewish. The rest of the history is well known. The Arabs refused their piece but the Jews accepted theirs. May 14, 1948 was when Israel declared its birth and a war broke out between Arabs and Jews immediately with at least 5 Arab states attacking her.

Jews were attacked before the announcement and then of course after the announcement, big time. We had Jews who had just landed on shore who had survived the holocaust who were immediately pressed into service to fight for Israel. Women were even helping to fight. And the miracle of all miracles is that Israelis survived the humungous odds against her. The book, Exodus by James Mitchener gives you background of survivors getting to Israel.

In the meantime the Jews who had not migrated to Europe had remained in the Middle East only to be treated shabbily as Dminnis, or 2 and 3rd class citizens. It can be debated as to which group was living better and safer or not.

It took a great need and much planning to finally be granted the small piece of land that was finally named Israel. Jews had been suffering much persecution, a lot of attacks, and 2nd or 3rd class citizenship in their host countries. It was only in the very late 1800's and early 1900's that Jews came to the United States in large immigration numbers.

We know what happened to the Jews who remained in Europe that didn't migrate to America. The Holocaust took 6 million lives. Millions of Jewish families have no descendents to carry on their names. Families were completely wiped out. Today we have about 6 million Jews in the States and 6 million Jews in Israel and a handful scattered in other parts of the world.

Long ago in ancient days, Moses planned cities of refuge to be set up. Today we have one little Jewish State that is again a refuge for us in case we need it. Let's not lose it.

Praying for Gabrielle Giffords

It isn't every day that a Jewish girl is elected congresswoman in Arizona, but it had happened to Gabrielle Giffords. In fact, she happens to be the very first. She is the granddaughter of Akiva Hornstein, the son of a Lithuanian rabbi who had moved to Arizona from New York and had founded the tire business that she later ran before she entered into politics.

In 2006 she was running for Congress and won by a narrow margin. She was not bashful about declaring herself as being Jewish. In fact, she said, "If you want something done, your best bet is to ask a Jewish woman to do it. Jewish women have an ability to cut through all the reasons why something should, shouldn't or can't be done and pull people together to be successful."

Being that she has a Christian mother and a Jewish father, she hadn't always felt this way, but 10 years ago she visited Israel on a political trip and it turned out to be life-changing for her. She later sponsored a bill in the Arizona Senate eliminating the statute of limitations for collecting the insurance claims by victims of the Holocaust and their heirs.

She was in Israel again last month and also visited a synagogue, planning to return there this summer. After visiting Temple Emanuel Synagogue she told the congregation that the US must remain committed to Israel, realizing that it is the only Middle Eastern democracy. Just last week she wrote in Arizona's Jewish newspaper that there would be no peace before the Palestinian leadership and other organizations accept Israel's right to exist, most likely meaning that they should stop bombing Israel.

She's a brave politician to have come out to her conservative southern Arizona district that she was Jewish. She even changed over from the Republican she was to registering as a Democrat because she was unhappy with some decisions.

Then to be shot in the head by a 22 year old misfit who said that his most favorite book was Mein Kampf gives you pause to wonder if this killing spree wasn't induced by his being anti-semitic. He seems to be so mentally off, that pschologist Dr. Alan Lipman didn't give any credence to his political views. At this point Jered isn't insane, just has had an undiagnosed mental illness.

Women like her come along rarely. Here she was actively working at her job, doing with 100% of her capabilities, and she was the object of a deranged killer. With 6 others murdered in this shooting spree and 13 injured, one just wonders how things like this can happen.

The amazing wonder of it all is that Gabby is alive, and we can all thank her 20 year old intern for that who was so quick to run to her side and keep her from bleeding to death. In fact he stayed with her the whole time until she was wheeled into surgery, talking to her and holding her hand. This I learned from Fox News today. I noticed I had tears running down my cheeks as I listened to the reports. I believe his name was Hernandez, and he had known her for several years. I think he was like an angel sent to guard her.

40 years old and married to an astronaut. It sounds like an ideal life, but here Gabby is, a woman dedicated to helping her fellow man and neighbor, with her life on the line. We can only thank everyone involved with helping her from the amazing doctors to her amazing friends.

What Judaism Says About Deaths of Birds and Fish Since 2011

Nadene Goldfoot

New Years 2011 is bad news if you're a bird or a fish. Mass deaths of both were first reported from Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky and then Sweden, all within the past week. Reports are coming in fast and furious from other locals as well.

Judaism says that the world is God's creation and that whoever helps to preserve it is doing G-d's work. G-d told Adam when he showed him around the Garden of Eden the following: "See how lovely and how worthy of praise are My works. They have all been created for your sake. Take care not to spoil or destroy My world."

Events that have arisen since then are: development of many vast industries, fights against disease which also creates dangers of overpopulation, invention of the diesel engine; global wars, nuclear energy, and massive building activities. This makes it impossible to get direct guidance from Jewish tradition such as "And replenish the earth, subdue it, have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth". At the time this was written there was no ecology problem as there is now.

We are to have a clean and peaceful environment. For example a dovecot (raising doves) was to be kept at least 50 cubits away from a town or your own property in order to keep the doves from eating the seeds sown in neighboring field. Goats and sheep were not to be raised in cultivated areas so as to encourage renewed agricultural growth after the land was devastated by wars. It is forbidden to destroy animals. Now we have thousands of birds, fish and other small animals all dying with a very short time frame. Is this a usual event? What are the odds that this could happen normally?

This all started with 83,000 dead and dying drumfish found dying in a 20 mile stretch in the Arkansas River, and then 3,000 red-winged blackbirds falling out of the sky on New Year's Eve in Beebe, Arkansas. People gave reports of hearing a loud noise and then seeing birds flying low across the ground and smashing into homes, cars, mailboxes and whatever. Louisiana reported birds falling from the sky, then Kentucky. Sweden was next to report the birds falling. In recent days 2 million fish died in the Chesapeake Bay, 150 tons of red tilapia in Vietnam and 40,000 crabs in Britain and other places across the world are reporting losses of animal life. Doctors report that the birds died of blunt force trauma. I guess we all would if we dropped out of the sky. Brazil has reported 100 tons of sardines, croaker and catfish washed up dead. New Zealand reports hundreds of dead snapper fish with with missing eyes. It was thought that they were starving.

Biologists are trying to calm people down by reporting that this happens quite frequently which is usally caused either by disease, parasites, pollution or an unknown mystery. They say that an average of 163 events are reported to the federal government each year. They're blaming cold and wet weather like in Arkansas on New Year's Eve when the birds fell out of the sky. This is often associated with mass bird deaths according to some ornithologists. Our paper and TV news reported that fireworks caused the birds to be so scared that they dropped dead out of the sky. That was a new cause to be added to the list. Technology can be blamed says Harvard biologist E.O. Wilson. We now have internet, cell phone and worldwide communications so people are hearing about it faster. Somehow, I just don't buy any of this. For all these animals to die in the same short timeframe in water and air, here and far away is mighty mysterious and makes me wonder what technology could be causing this to happen.

We have been made aware of animals that face extinction and are doing something about it. However, this is instant death of thousands and millions of birds and fish, and we must find the reason behind it. In this day of terrorism where Israel has had to give its total population gas masks, and we are made aware of the ease terrorists could poison our water supply, we know that our environment is in jeopardy and must be guarded. We just haven't done it well enough to protect our fish and bird population on this planet. We have a responsibility, and we shouldn't take animal death lightly as something that just happens. What is the cause for this effect?
More reports have come in. Folly Beach, South Carolina witnesses thousands of dead fish. 10,000 Menhaden were washed up on shore dead. This is SW of Charlston. cold water temperature was blamed.
Italy saw hundreds if not thousands of dead birds. They have been identified as turtle doves and were found with blue stain in their mouths. This could be a sign of poison or hyoxia. Rockwall, Texas had dead birds on Highway 155. Florida saw fish floating dead in a creek. Reports just keep on coming in. on Arkansas birds and fish dropping dead.

Unconventional Attacks on Israel/Jews

Nadene Goldfoot Sderot in Southern Israel after Rocket attack from Gaza

I feel that an attack on Israel is also attacking Jews, for Israel is the only Jewish state in the world. Even at that, it shares the tiny space with a little over a million Arabs, a mixture of Christians and Muslims, mostly Muslims.

Today I see the weirdest sort of attacks on Israel. The latest is that the minority of Christians in Egypt, called Copts, have been attacked. The 90% of Muslims populating Egypt are now blaming Israel's Mossad for the attack. We've been blamed for everything bad that happens to communities such as poisoning the wells, spreading disease, etc. and now attacking the few Christians in Egypt. Unfortunately, it's easy to persuade excitable people that we are the cause. Just say "the Jews did it" and a majority of people believe it.

Another thing that is happening is that such people as Archbishop Tutu of South Africa speak out against Israel. He's taken the Palestinian's efforts of reducing Israel to ashes as his own. There goes the morality of the world! It has come down to the fact that it's okay to attack a small nation legitimately created, in any way, as amoral as possible, and rightous people will side with you if you're attacking Jews.

Israel is not fighting another army. It's fighting groups of terrorists who play dirty pool in their fighting, especially towards their own people. They fight among their civilians, hiding ammunition in schools and mosques and people's homes. They hide behind women and kidnap soldiers. They aim their deadly weapons at civilian neighborhoods, not army depots. This way they can blame the Israelis for killing their poor people. Even Goldstone bought into this charge. The same situation has come to the American army fighting in Pakistan and Iraq.

This tiny state has had to raise generations of soldiers because they have experienced deadly attacks since 1948 during declared wars and inbetween. Needing Israel comes from 2,000 years of living in other people's countries and finding it hasn't worked out. There's always the virus of anti-semitism causing Jews to be ousted from countries such as England, Spain, Portugal, Russia proper, into the Pale of Russia, etc., or slaughtered and almost obliterated in Europe as in WWII. It took a long time to realize it, but Israel's birth was a necessity; not just a whim.

Fighting remains Israel's only way of survival among a group of people bent on their destruction. Yet do-gooders can't see the morality of the world disintegrating before their eyes by backing the people who have more hatred in their souls than wisdom. So every day to Israelis means facing their neighbors who launch rockets and missiles in their direction while the rest of the world cheers the antagonists on. Since 1948 the Arabs were offered their own state with Israel's agreement expecting it to happen, but it hasn't. This is only because they really don't have this as their goal. It's not in their plans. What they keep trying for it just to wear Israel and Israelis and the rest of the world down. For a people who had to wait 2,000 years to feel secure in their own land, they can wait more than 62 years for peace to finally come. Hopefully, the Arabs will wake up to the fact that they are the ones missing out in life, for Israel has found its purpose; to keep on existing, living and creating. L'Chaim! to Life!

Israel's Size Among Others

Nadene Goldfoot Hebron

Israel is one of the smallest nations on the face of the earth. It consists of 8,367 square miles. In comparison, Oregon, a state in the USA could hold 12 Israels. Oregon is 98,380 square miles in size. The Balfour Declaration had in mind that it would have been much larger, but we took what was finally offered. Every inch of Israel is precious. The rebirth of Israel meant 2,000 years of waiting. Such people as Nostradomas and Isaac Newton had prophesized its creation again, but most people paid no attention, except the very religious. This little state usually has more newspaper reporters stationed here than in any other place. Citizens must feel like "big brother" is watching them constantly for a slip-up of some sort.

Saudi Arabia could hold 90 Israels while Iran could hold 76. Yet the Muslim population, which makes up 25% of the population on earth, is demanding along with the Muslims in Gaza and Judea-Samaria and East Jerusalem, another Muslim state in these three places. Their state will have no Jews. Jews make up 0.2% of the world population, so we're outnumbered in our opinions, and the opinions of the world are not benefiting Israel.

We have 300,000 Jews living in Judea-Samaria and 200,000 Jews living in East Jerusalem, our capital which had been divided when Jordan held it before 1967. I feel the mistake the world made then was in not recognizing Jerusalem as our capital. They stood by and let all the Arab states attack little Israel and to all's surprise, Israel won the battle. That's when Jerusalem was opened to all religions and there was freedom. The city, the City of David, precious to Jews, finally came into our hands, and we're not about to let it go because the Palestinians covet it.

We still have Jews living in the town of Hebron in the hills of Judea, where Abraham and his wife Sarah are buried along with the rest of their family. It had become a town belonging to the tribe of Judah. What other towns or cities can claim a 4,000 year old period of living in it? Abraham lived here first and it is the oldest Jewish community.

Next door to Hebron is the Jewish community of Kiryat Arba which has 6,000 Jews. This was the original name of Hebron. Hebron's Jews suffered a slaughter in the riots of 1929, but have made a comeback since 1948.
