The BDS movement against Israel, started by Palestinians, as explained next,  by a few United States groups is incomprehensible.  Israel is their only ally and only democratic state in the Middle East.  That these groups think only they know what Israel's leaders should be acting on to best serve their population is ludicrous.  So far, Israel has managed to protect their people and advance enough to help other nations, especially the United States, in their defense against jihadic terrorists that attack to kill .  

"The campaign is organised and coordinated by the Palestinian BDS National Committee.  The campaign was started on 9 July 2005 by over 170 Palestinian non-governmental organizations in support of the Palestinian cause for boycott, divestment and international sanctions against Israel. Citing a body of UN resolutions and specifically echoing the anti-apartheid campaigns against white minority rule in apartheid era South Africa, the BDS campaign called for "various forms of boycott against Israel until it meets its obligations under international law, "" and they should have said THEIR law, as international law says otherwise.  

Since the end of WWI, Israel has been treated as rotten as mankind can get.  " The Balfour Declaration was a letter dated 2 November 1917 from the United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour to Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland."  In it they promised that they would be for and would help create the Jewish Homeland, something much needed after 2,000 years of persecution and at best, inhospitable acts  by Christian nations.   Chaim Weizmann, chemist, had helped England by his creation of a better ammunition of which without it, they may have lost the war to the Axis of the German group.  The "Balfour Declaration" was later incorporated into both the Sèvres peace treaty with the Ottoman Empire, and the Mandate for Palestine. The original document is kept at the British Library.  The shocking fact is that the Jewish National Home was to be created within the first 10 years. Jews had to wait out the 30 mandatory years, instead.

The PLO Covenant against Israel, Article 20, says the Balfour Declaration and everything based upon them are deemed null and void.  The claim of historical or religious ties between Jews and Palestine does not tally with historical realities, nor with the constituents of statehood in their true sense.  Judaism, in its character as a religion, is not a nationality with an independent existence.  Likewise, the Jews are not one people with an independent identity.  They are rather citizens of the states to which they belong"  

Very black and white in their  lopsided thinking, is how I see them.  The Palestinians, backed by all the Arab nations, have never been willing to make peace.  Now, we do have peace with Jordan and Egypt.  All 3 countries  face an even worse enemy, ISIS, and need to stand together against this evil force.  

The British issued their WHITE PAPER in 1939.  It rejected the idea of the creation of a Jewish state and the idea of partitioning Palestine. It also limited Jewish immigration to 75,000 for 5 years, and ruled that further immigration was to be determined by the Arab majority (section II). Restrictions were put on the rights of Jews to buy land from Arabs (section III). Further, it promised that only with Palestinian support would Britain allow a Jewish state. This greatly upset Zionists because of the increasing persecution of Jews in Europe at the onset of World War II, particularly in Germany. The policy was accepted by Amin al-Husseini of the Arab Higher Committee.  He was the worst enemy Israel has had.  He's the one who started all the riots in Jerusalem, called the Sherif of Jerusalem.  He was the antagonist against Emir Feisal, who was for Jews re-entering their own land.    Zionist groups in Palestine immediately rejected the White Paper

So what happened? The English mandated personnel kept out Jews from entering Palestine during the uprising of the Nazis in Germany and at a time Jews needed a Jewish Homeland like never before, were turned away, the beginnings of WWII.    Those who managed to enter had to do it secretly like thieves in the night, a land that their forefathers had for over 3,000 years, filled with the bones of their forefathers.  "Exodus 1947 was a ship that carried Jewish emigrants from France to British Mandatory Palestine on July 11, 1947. Most of the emigrants were Holocaust survivors who had no legal immigration certificates for Palestine. Following wide media coverage, the British Royal Navy seized the ship and deported all its passengers back to Europe." Their future ended with their murder there.  

After the 30 years of waiting through the British mandate, Jews finally announced their state's birth of May 14, 1948, and were met with shooting, the war of Independence that lasted from  November 29, 1947, started by the Arabs who refused to accept the UN partition resolution, to 1949.  This started with Israel's population of 650,000, and the armies of Egypt, Transjordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and a Saudi-Arabian contingent invaded their 5 minute old country.

Let's not forget the follow-up wars that showed there was no kindness or peace in the hearts of Israel's neighbors: The Sinai War from 29 October to 5 November 1956; The Six-Day War from 5 to 11 June 1967; The War of Attrition from 1968 to 7-8 August 1970, The War of 1973 Yom Kippur War, attacking on the day the population was in synagogues,  praying  to G-d for forgiveness of their sins against HIM,  the attacks of the PLO which brought on the 1982 war in Lebanon of which I was involved in; the following Intifadas, riots, and Hamas sniping at southern Israel for years.  
                                                                                      
During Israel's total of 67 years of existence now, they have never known real peace, and to everyone's consternation, have managed to be most successful in developing their land and offering their creations to the world.  Yet, we now see a slipping back into history that is more like the horrid 1930s in Germany, a despising of Jews again, with the development of BDS.

North:  Hezbollah terrorists backed by Iran sit in Lebanon with 150,000 rockets and missiles. They're 2nd to al-Qaida in killing more Americans than other terrorists, and have their artillery placed in civilian towns with human shields; which is the way Palestinians also attacked and defended themselves.

South:  Hamas and other terrorists in Gaza  have re-armed weapons caches and have rebuilt terror tunnels.  Hamas hires more than 1,000 diggers and has diverted cement and lumber coming in for civilian reconstruction to fortify their attack tunnels.  This is what we thought they would do with the materials and why they had to stop fleets of ships for inspections who are part of the BDS intelligencia.  
                                                                                  

East:  Iran, country who has threatened all of Israel and its people, who is getting ready for the one and only needed atomic bomb on Israel with their testing of long-range missiles that will carry nuclear warheads.  They have flown over US naval vessels in the Persian Gulf.  They awarded medals of conquest to naval commanders  who illegally detained 10 US soldiers.  They are supporting terrorism for the end result of destabilizing the whole region of the Middle East, and most likely will use their $100 billion in sanctions relief for the nuclear deal to this end.  
Tell me what other country on this planet faces the dangers that Israel faces daily on its borders.  Then Israel has to cope with BDS from their allies;  SOME ALLIES!  

One of the propositions that BDS people hold against Israel is the Rachel Corrie incident on March 16, 2003  of a young American  from Washington  who went over to Israel with the purpose of interfering with the army bull-dozing terrorist homes as a punishment in Gaza.  She was from the International Solidarity Movement., a pro-Palestinian group from the get-go.  She was a willing pawn, used in the attacks against Israel.  She had decided in her heart that Israel was bad and the Arabs were good, shown by her actions.   "According to the Israeli authorities the demolitions were carried out to eliminate weapons smuggling tunnels."   It was a horrible accident and not the soldier's fault that an American stood in front of him while he was doing his job.  None of the Palestinians were as foolish to do such a thing as stand in front of a bulldozer in use.  It's like standing in front of a train.  It's suicide, and that's what happened.  Israel had reason to be doing the razing of homes as an act against terrorists.  She was not even an Israeli-yet her group from which she came thought they had all the answers.  Such naivety!  You know that the Arab nations would just shoot to kill anyone breaking their laws both of terrorizing them and interfering with their punishment.

All this is said to be the future for Israel, and some people can't abide the Jews they have replaced  in G-d's world and have instead, put Jews in  a 2nd class distinction along with many Muslim's view of Jews.   So they have taken up arms against Israel by the BDS movement.  I must say that this is very nice of them not to use live ammunition out of rifles or missiles, but they are fighting against Israel for reasons that are completely misconstrued.  If they had any heart and love as they profess to be the only ones with such souls, they would have the minds to understand what's been going on and against Israel.  All their energy is coming from pre-conceived ideas and false information and the inability to add 2 + 2.  In an international meeting of Presbyterians, they vote to use BDS, and this is taken up as the lead move by the rest of the world, including Portland State U, who are hell bent on doing this, an act that could be calling on a suit in the courts.  However, the Methodists were much wiser and are not joining in.  
                                                                                 
This outrageous movement against Jews, as Israel is a Jewish refuge is dangerous to both the USA and Israel.  This is an economic warfare against the only Jewish state in the world as well as being an economic deficit to the American businesses being withheld from their buyers.  It harms both.  Europe is in the act by forming new labeling guidelines for some Israeli products.  Of course the aim is to pressure Israel into "unilateral concessions" outside any boundary on any peace negotiation.  
                                                                                     
The actors want to punish Israel by delegitimizing and isolating her which makes Israel more vulnerable to her every-day security challenges.  They help to create a false belief and give impetus to the idea that Palestinian authority leaders can get what they want while avoiding direct talks with Israel.  This makes peace almost impossible to achieve.

Part I When Syrian Arabs Came Into "Palestine" Before 1948

Setting the Scene:  During World War I of 1914-1918, the Ottoman Empire, who had held Palestine for the past 400 years, entered the war on the side of Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire and they were defeated.  The Ottomans had carried on Genocide on the Armenians and Assyrians.  This had impacted northern Syria.  In the middle of the war, 2 diplomats, the French Picot and the British Sykes, secretly agreed on the post-war division of the Ottoman Empire in 1916.  For starters, they separated 2 territories by a border running a straight line from Jordan to Iran, but oil was discovered in Mosul just before the end of the war. Mosul lay in northern Iraq.  "The city's fortunes revived with the discovery of oil in the area, from the late 1920s onward. It became a nexus for the movement of oil via truck and pipeline to both Turkey and Syria." Now France decided in 1918 to cede this region to Zone B or the British zone of influence.   When Syria became a League of Nations mandate in 1920 this border was recognized.  The French held the mandate over Syria and Lebanon.  The British had Palestine. 

At the same time in 1920, the independent Kingdom of Syria was established under Faisal I of the Hashemite family, the same family that had Trans-Jordan granted to them by the British out of  the land to be the Jewish Homeland.   Faisal had worked with Chaim Weizmann and had agreed to the idea of a Jewish Homeland, thinking he would get his fair share, too.  After all, he and his men had fought with the British against the Ottoman Empire and helped them as much as the Jews and Chaim Weizmann had, he  figured.  Faisal wasn't as lucky as King Abdullah of Trans-Jordan, however, as his rule lasted only a few months.  There was the Battle of Maysalun when the French troops occupied Syria later that year after the San Remo conference (see references below).  That was when it was proposed that the League of Nations put Syria under a French mandate.  That didn't stop Sultan al-Atrash in 1925 who led a revolt that was engulfing the whole of Syria and parts of Lebanon.  He won several battles against the French who sent thousands of troops from Morocco and Senegal until 1927.  The Sultan was sentenced to death but he escaped to Transjordan and was later pardoned.  He returned to Syria in 1937 after signing the Syrian-French Treaty.  Atassi then became the first president elected in September 1936, but the French refused to ratify it.  Then France fell in 1940 during WWII, and Syria came under the control of Vichy France until the British occupied the country in July 1941.  The French finally left in  1946 and Syria was again independent.  
                                                                       

It was Chaim Weizmann and others who finally were able to see that the League of Nations  passed the law of making Palestine the Jewish Homeland  in 1921, and in the Balfour  Doctrine  of 1926  The British held the mandate over Palestine and were given the job of seeing to it that it became as such.  However, suddenly the Arabs from Syria and elsewhere were coming in illegally and the count by the British was not being kept.  The Arab population in "Palestine" had remained static for 200 years and now was suddenly increasing.

In the 1931 "Palestine" census, 23 different languages were reported in use by the Moslems, and most of those plus an additional 28 were in use by Arab Christians-and these plus 28 more were in use by Arab Christians entering Palestine.  The non-Jews in Palestine in 1931 listed their birthplaces in 24 different countries in addition to the Americas and Europe.  Just in Jerusalem, 20 different places of birth outside the Armericas and Europe were listed by the Moslems.  those plus another 4 countries were listed by the Christian Arabs.

The Mandate Commission reported on August 12, 1934, from Tewfik Bey El-Hurani, governor of the Hauran, (Syrians) that in the last few months from 30,000 to 36,000 Hauranese had entered Palestine and settled there. Syrians from the Hauran district were admitted freely to "Palestine" without any passports or visas from the beginning of the British Mandate after WWI until the 1940's.p. 231   Some Syrians had gone back to Syria  to avoid prosecution for violence in the riotsof 1936.  The British looked away when they entered, and the fact that they managed to settle in the Jewish-settled portions of the country.  One report said, "that more Arabs entered illegally and stayed in Palestine than the total number of Jews for twice that length of time in 1934 who were "approved" to immigrate into their designated "Jewish National Home."  Yet the British report only said that 1934 recorded just 1,784 non-Jews with only about 3,000 as travelers remaining illegally, and those figures supposedly included Arab immigrants from all points into all of Palestine.  False Reporting!!  The Jews, however, had everything about them recorded;  age groups, occupations, amount of capital brought in.  

" Yet, illegal Jewish immigration was fastidiously reported."p. 226.  Being it was to be the Jewish Homeland, I do not see how their entrance could be listed as illegal, but it was, whereas the immigrating Arabs were not listed as illegals.  This showed up when Jews finally tried to enter Palestine through Trans Jordan.  Arabs were coming in that way as well, "but the Arabs were not marked illegal until their detection had become flagrant."

The British Peel Commission report of 1937 said that developing the Jewish National Home had to depend on the rate and volume of Jewish immigration over many years.  The Arabs were watching this immigration and were afraid of being overwhelmed and dominated by the Jewish immigrants.  The British had not made any attempt to count how many Arabs had come into "Palestine" from neighboring Arab lands but they estimated that 9/10s of the growth was due to natural increase and was a growth of over 50% in 17 years.  They realized the the Arab population during the Ottoman Empire of 400 years had remained quite stationary.

In 1938, at the height of the Germans' treatment of their Jewish population as horrific, with all sorts of rules and regulations against them, Palestine would have been the logical place for them to flee.  They couldn't get in.  At first the British blamed the improved health conditions brought by Jews that was extending Arabs' lives, brought on by the appropriation of tax-revenue contributed by the Jews.  They were blaming the increased Arab population on the Jews for helping the indigenous Arabs already existing there.

There had been Arabs going to and from Trans-Jordan.  The Peel report did mention that 4,866 "travellers" who entered Palestine during the year were registered as immigrants.  Of these, 4,114 were Jews and 752 were non-Jews.

By 1939, at the height of German anti-Semitism, when the last ship with Jews left their shores for the USA, leaving many to die soon in the Holocaust, Churchill said, "So far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population."  Had the British considered the fact that Moslems could have up to 4 wives at the same time?  The Arabs had been hurling out anti-Semitic propaganda, probably hot off the presses from Germany.  The British then came out with their White Paper of 1939 halting Jewish immigration at the time they needed it the most.  Neville Chamberlain made it clear that Britain would only allow 75,000 Jews to enter Palestine over the next 5 years from 1940 to 1944, the height of the Holocaust period.  Even at that, only 10,000 each year would be allowed in, holding 25,000 spaces in abeyance.  It was almost like they were helping Germany exterminate Jews.  
                                                                       

In 1941, the Arab, Haj Amin al Husseini (1897-1974),  the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem from 1921 to 1948, visited with Hitler in Germany in a meeting of exterminating Jews, thus ending their chances of creating the Jewish Homeland.  He was also on the side of the King Faisal, Hashemite ruler of Syria.  Perhaps that's why his rule ended after a few months.  Husseini was the opposite of Faisal, and was totally against Faisal  making any agreements with Jews.   

Britain left the country when their mandate was up in May 1948, probably glad to get out of there as they felt the Arabs would slaughter the Jews.    David Ben Gurion addressed the world with the voting in the United Nations which said yes to their becoming a state, and minutes later they were attacked by all their Arab neighbors.  The miracle of all miracle happened.  They were able to hear the League of Nations and the new United Nations vote them in as a state, and they won their first of many battles against their Arab neighbors who disagreed with the majority vote.  

When asked who they were, the Arabs would say they were Syrian Arabs.  They never said they were Palestinian Arabs until many wars later in 1967, when they again lost that very serious battle of the Six Day War.  Now the leaders of other Arab nations nudged them to want their own state, after being offered the opportunity since 1947 and many times thereafter, always with the answer of no!  Their leaders were holding out for taking all of Israel.  

Malcolm MacDonald, British secretary of State in 1938 said of the over one million Arabs in Palestine, "The Arabs cannot say that the Jews are driving them out of their country.  If not a single Jew had come to Palestine after 1918, I believe that the Arab population of Palestine today would still have been around about the same figure at which it had been stable under the Turkish rule.
  
In 1934, 42,359 Jews were registered, 1,494 Christians and 290 Muslims.  
In 1938, Britain registered 12,868 Jewish immigrants, 473 Christians and 1,922 Moslems making a total of 15,263.  
In 1939 they registered 16,405 Jewish immigrants, 376 Christians and 1,652 Moslems.  
In 1940, when Jews could not get out of Germany, 4,547 Jews, 390 Christians and 674 Moslems were registered.  .  That's what they showed on the books, but it wasn't the reality at all.  Moslems were getting in illegally without being registered.  1934 was a good example where they only showed 1,784 non Jews entering when they had already listed the 30,000 to 35,000 Hauranis (Syrians) who immigrated to Western Palestine that weren't included in the British calculations.  No wonder so many Arabs, when asked, said they were Syrian Arabs.  They really were!  They were not native Palestinians.  

Folke Bernadotte said in 1950-51, and by then were referring to them all as Palestinians,  "The Palestinian Arabs have at present no will of their own.  Neither have they ever developed any specifically Palestinian nationalism...

Some Facts About "Occupation"; The Subject That Norway Holds As Reason to Support Terrorists

Here are some facts that most people are not aware of in their zeal to discredit Israel as being those "terrible occupiers" of Palestinian Land."

Lets start with the fact that Canaan, or Eretz (land of)  Canaan, as the Jews called it originally, almost 4,000 years ago, was named Israel as it was the Israelites who entered and took it and then later the land was Israel and Judea.  These were Jewish states.  Israel was created first with King Saul in the 11th century BCE, then King David and  King Solomon.  When Solomon died in 920 BCE, the Jews divided up as if they were Republicans and Democrats and created Judea  with the southern half with the remainder of the tribe of Judah which included Jerusalem.  They were the more religious of the two by then.   There was never a country or state called Palestine.  It was the Romans who simply renamed the land as "Palestine, out of nastiness in order to minimize the Jewish association with it, which they then called it Palestine Syria."  After 70 CE it was no-man's land except for the remaining Jews that lived there as well as nomadic Arabs that wandered through on their way to better places.

True, our case rests on land held 4,000 years ago, but no one has really wanted it or lived there besides Jews who hadn't left and some nomadic Arabs wandering through.  The few Arab landowners lived elsewhere, not in the swamp and desert, and weed-filled barren land it had become from neglect after 70 CE.  Many rulers have held title, but none lived there.  It was only after many  Jews returned in the 1880's CE as pioneers fleeing from pogroms that Arabs tagged along to get jobs from them. If Arabs wanted their own state, which the British assumed that they would, wouldn't they also have accepted their offer in 1948?    No, their goal was just to oust the returned Jews.

By 1948 CE we find Egypt occupying Gaza and Jordan occupying Judea and Samaria, the original Jewish land.  Jews had congregated in Western Palestine and had built Tel Aviv and other cities along the coast.  That's one reason why England gave away 80% of the Jewish Homeland after WWI to Transjordan.  Yes, the Jewish Homeland had included Jordan's site as well.  Take out your Old Testament and read about the land G-d had allotted to Moses and the freed slaves.  It's there in detail.

Palestinian terrorism began before any occupation in 1929 when the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem ordered terrorist attacks against Jewish residents of Hebron.  The Jews had lived there since Abraham bought a cave to bury Sarah.  Hebron, because of that, is a Jewish holy city and has been for generations.  Today it's taken over by the Arabs.

After 1967's war whereupon the Arab countries attacked Israel in the attempt to drive her into the sea and destroy her, Israel, with guts, determination and the will of G-d won, defying all odds.  That's when she inherited Gaza and Judea-Samaria and they became "occupied" by her. Did Israel attack these places to take them to occupy?  Indeed not.  It had enough problems to deal with.  This was almost the straw that broke the camel's  back.  However, it did allow Jews to go to the sacred Western Wall for the first time in Jerusalem since before 1948 to pray, which the soldiers all did.  Now Jerusalem, Israel's capital, is a unified city. It was our capital between 1,000 BCE and 586 BCE and again between 516 BCE to 70 CE.   I must say thanks to Ha Shem (G-d) , who works in wondrous ways.  Had the Arab countries not attacked in 1967, this would not have happened.  "The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are poised on the borders of Israel...to face the challenge, while standing behind us are the armies of Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, Sudan and the whole Arab nation." So said the King of Jordan.   It was over in 6 days.

Terrorism grew worse after Israel ended its occupation of southern Lebanon and Gaza around 2005.  These unoccupied lands  became launching pads for rockets and missiles and mortars and the Palestinians started kidnapping soldiers.

No matter how kind Israelis reacted to Palestinians and no matter how many good programs they set up to help them attain a normalized life, the Palestinians had a set mind of attack and kill, shown by voting in Hamas, terrorists and ousting Fatah's Abbas-Yasser Arafat's replacement.

Islamic terrorists have sworn to continue terrorism even if Israel were to end its occupation of the Judea-Samaria area , and Israel has about 3/4 of the way already by allowing the PA to govern themselves.  Israel just keeps minimum rights there for their own security.  The sad fact is that Terrorists regard all of Israel as occupied.  They do not recognize the UN decision of their legal statehood of May 14, 1948.  If there were no Israel, terrorism would continue as long as any part of the world is not under Islamic control.  Just check out and see where Shaaria law is to supersede USA law lately.  It's already happening.

Countries have occupied others in the past.  For instance, the Tibetans have never resorted to terrorism against innocent Chinese civilians, though they have never been offered independence, and their occupation has been longer and more brutal than anything experienced by the Palestinians.  From 1911 to 1949 Tibet was an independent country till the Chinese invasion and occupation.  The difference is in the temperament between Tibetans and Palestinians, of course, helped along  by their different religious goals in life.   After WWI England occupied "Palestine" which had been part of the holdings of the Ottoman Empire.  France occupied Syria and Lebanon.  The British were terrible towards the Jews but allowed Arabs into the country illegally.  Britain also occupied India since the 1800's  and other places, but they've never been occupied, themselves.

The United States "occupied" Germany and Japan after WWII.  How would Americans like it if they continued to attack the USA from there or other areas closer.  Israel is in a far more precarious position of having Gaza and Judea-Samaria on the left and right borders of tiny Israel.

Occupation doesn't cause terrorism unless the occupiers are very cruel, and Israel has bent over backwards to help the Palestinians but were "slapped in the face" for doing so.  After all, Israel was occupied by the Romans in the first century and suffered greatly from it.  These Arabs were treated terribly by their Arab occupiers and Israel mistakenly thought they were actually freeing them.

Terrorism causes occupation and the measures taken to bring safety to the citizens.  Israel would have left Gaza and much of Judea and Samaria if not for the fear of terrorism from those areas.  Would Israel have gone into southern Lebanon in 1982 if it had not become a base for terrorism?  No.  Israel had to repeat this again in 2006 to stop rocket attacks and retrieve kidnapped soldiers out of Lebanon.

The international community did nothing to protect Israeli citizens from cross-border rocket attacks, kidnappings and suicide bombers.  If occupation is the only resource for Israel for protection, they may need to do it.  Israel has given land for peace, while the Palestinians have ventured nothing but more attacks.  Israel will not give land again which will be used for terrorism.

Israel left Gaza after a 2 day occupation in July 2006 and what happened?  A rocket from there hit an Israeli kindergarten causing children to go to the hospital.  Israel had left leaflets when they departed warning of dire consequences if rockets were fired again.  Our enemy feels that their deaths are worth the trouble if they can kill Israelis.  They put Arab mothers on pedestals who have given many sons to the cause.   Where we toast a l'chaim to life, they must be praying for death where they will be rewarded.

People who are notorious for not having human rights in their countries are Syria, Zimbabwe, China, Venezuela, Cuba, Cambodia and the former Soviet Union.  They always blame everything on their revolutions.  Islam has allowed extremists to bubble up in their religion such as Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other groups.  They are oppressors of women, gays, racial minorities, religious dissidents and real human rights advocates.  Saudi women can only ride a motorcycle while covered completely and if accompanied by a male family member in designated areas. This wouldn't be so terrible but their counties can get up to 130 degrees F.   They torture and murder civilians, use human shields in their zeal to attack Israel with propaganda.  That's probably how they conducted their past year's voting in of Hamas once again.  How is it that all these groups come down on Israel and every other country is following suit?  Can they not see the Pied Piper of Hamelin through the haze?  They're following the wrong ideals!  There are Muslim states such as Syria that follow Iran who advocates nuclear proliferation and  environmental destruction.  There are 49 Muslim majority states, so there are others as well.

Jews are extremely  sensitive in calling to attention the bad points about Islam as they have put up with people doing this to them for the past 2,000 years.  But I must point out that the Muslims were on the side of the Nazis in WWII so are also a political group as well as a religious one, even going to Hitler in Germany and were so desirous of seeing Jews destroyed that they are still reading Nazi literature for their recreational time.  It amazes me since they are also Semites, but they see a great distinction.

Yet we have weak-minded professors from Columbia U. that planned to travel to Iran to apologize to Ahmadinejad   for Columbia U.'s president Lee Bollinger who gave a critical introduction of him on September 24, 2008.  .  It's like apologizing to Hitler, and I imagine we have Americans today that would have done just that back in 1939.  Ahmadinejad, who must be the #1 worst person in the world today,  is a bigoted tyrant who has incited genocide and whose government has murdered innocent Jewish children, women and other civilians in Argentina.  It is his country who wants to wipe Israel off the map with an atomic bomb and right after that dump a few on the USA as well for good measure. It is he who is helping Assad's regime in Syria who have killed over 60,000 people already.  This past week alone they killed 6,000 or better.

In our letters to the editor of the Oregonian of March 30th were 2 letters complaining that Israel was now calling the shots to attack Iran's nuclear facilities because Obama promised that he had Israel's back.  They didn't like allowing Israel to call the timing of this should it ever happen.  It is a huge responsibility to protect one's own land from harm.  If irrational Iran  cannot be stopped by all that Obama is doing, there is only one alternative left before being incinerated, folks, and this includes the USA in the wake of all this as well. Israel is not suffering from paranoia as it's not an imagined fear.

 Iran has announced publicly over and over of their sense of purpose in destroying Israel.  You must be a student of Islam to understand that they don't make rash threats.  They first warn, and then they do the deed.  Even some Arabs such as the Saudis are counting on the Israelis to stop Iran for they're in dire danger as well.  It wasn't too long ago that Iran fought Iraq, a Sunni state against a Shi'a state.  Christians have had their Catholic-Protestant battles and the Islamists have this difference that makes them fighting mad. To allow a 4th religion in the area is beyond their comprehension.   Look at what's happened to the Christians in Egypt lately.

Israel isn't occupying Gaza at all.  That's why the Palestinian Arabs have shot at southern Israel citizens. They try to  make sure that weapons do not get to them since they use them all against Israel, though.  Wouldn't you?   So tell me, what's all the to-do about "occupation" being the reason that people have been supplying terrorists with finances to continue with?

How German Jews Became Stateless and Tattooed, in Holocaust of 6 Million Jews

Chaim  Weizmann was quoted in The Manchester Guardian as saying: "The world seemed to be divided into two parts – those places where the Jews could not live and those where they could not enter."

German Jews were being persecuted by Hitler who called Jews "criminals" when the Nuremburg Laws of 1935  came out making Jewish stateless refugees in their own country.  No one thought they weren't at home in Germany.  German Jews had been soldiers and had fought for Germany.  My uncle's father put on his uniform when he was forced to clean the streets, he, a Jewish sausage maker.  I've traced his family back to 1830 and they were probably there sooner than that.  Jews were in Germany as early as 321 CE in Cologne and elsewhere on the Rhineland.  There had even been Jewish soldiers in the Roman garrisons in Germany.  In the 8th and 9th century the Carolingian royal house had a pro-Jewish policy encouraging the settlement of Jews with the object of developing trade.  So Jews never expected to suddenly be expelled one day.  

By 1938, 450,000 of the 900,000 German Jews had fled to Palestine, held by the British who had the mandate.  Then the White Paper of May 23, 1939  by Neville Chamberlain came out barring most Jews from entering all during WWII.  Only 75,000 were allowed to enter from 1940-1944, the major part of the war.  They had it fixed so only 10,000 could come each year and the extra 25,000 was only for emergencies.  Jews already there were kept from buying land in Palestine.  

March 1938 was when Germany annexed Austria and 200,000 more Jews became stateless.
September 1938 was when Britain and France let Germany occupy Czechoslovakia and by the next year, March 1939, 200,000 more Jews found themselves stateless.  

Doesn't this sound familiar?  "In February 1939, the British held a conference  in London to negotiate an agreement between the Arabs and the Zionists. The Palestinian Arab delegates would only attend on condition that there were no direct meetings with Zionist representatives since this would be recognition of the legitimacy of Zionists claims over Palestine. So the British government held separate meetings with the two sides. The conference ended in failure on March 17, 1939.

"According to David Wyman, "The United States and its Allies were willing to attempt almost nothing to save the Jews."  Anti-Semitism was rampant in the 1920's and even worse in the 1930's.  By 1940 Jews were 3.7% of the national population.  Today there are about 5 to 6 million Jews in the USA making Jews under 2% of the USA population.  About 100,000 German Jews arrived in the 30's.  My uncle was one of the last who arrived  about May 12, 1939 from Boppard Germany through Hamburg's port.  These Jews had strings attached.  They had to be backed by someone in the states who took economic responsibility for them and had to get them jobs first before they could come here.

"The Holocaust was largely ignored by America media as it was happening  We didn't have internet then.  Newspapers didn't report on it.  Our government knew and didn't tell us.  Sulzberger, publisher of the New York Times, a Reform Jew himself, "kept issues of concern regarding Jews off the editorial page and burying stories about Nazi atrocities against Jews in short items deep inside the paper. In time he grew increasingly out of step with the American Jewish community by his persistent refusal to recognize Jews as a people and despite obvious flaws in his view of American democracy.  Hollywood films and radio with few exceptions avoided questioning Nazi persecution of Europe's Jews prior to Pearl Harbor. Jewish studio executives did not want to be accused of advocating Jewish propaganda by making films with overtly antifascist themes."  Oh, the webs we weave.  By deceiving themselves and not caring for their Jewish brothers they helped Hitler to kill off 6 million by their over-zeal at being an American.

"Churchill and Roosevelt were alcoholics, and in their youth were questioned more than once about brawls they started in bars, while Hitler hated alcohol and was not addicted to it. He used to go to sleep early and wake up early, and was very organized. 

These facts have been turned upside down as well, and Satan has been dressed with angels' wings."  

  This was published in the  Al-Hayat al-Jadida, March 18, 2013, the official daily newspaper of the Palestinian National Authority.  In other words, it is a Fatah newspaper.  

This shows the mentality of our Arab neighbors.  He goes on to say that had the Nazis won, we would not be thinking highly of these two men.  He is praising Hitler because he didn't drink.  The man was a madman and yet the Arab writer is praising him.  

We know Hitler " for his insatiable greed for power, his ruthlessness, cruelty and utter lack-of feeling, his contempt for established institutions and his lack of moral restraints. "  The fact was that "he secretly admired  Roosevelt to a considerable degree, regardless of what he publicly said about him. Underneath he probably feared him inasmuch as he was unable to predict his actions.

Arabs leaders have been using Nazi propaganda on their people ever since Israel was created on May 14, 1948.   "Nazi propaganda was greatly facilitated by several Arab exiles, prominent among them Hajj Amin al-Husayni and Rashid Ali al-Kaylani, who were not tried after WorldWar II due to British concerns for their position in the Arab world in the post-war period.  Mein Kampf is popular with this population as well as Protocals of the Elder Zion" which is an antisemitic hoax purporting to describe a Jewish plan for taking over the world..

It was the huge Ottoman Empire who had sided with the Germans in WWI, and so many of the Arabs continued and kept siding with them in WWII as well.  Churchill didn't do the Jews any favors by writing off 80% of the Jewish National Homeland, but he did fight the Empire with the Arabs during WWI.  By WWII Churchill was Prime Minister and fighting Germans and won with the USA who had Roosevelt as President.  Thus, the rub about their drinking.  "Churchill  consumed alcoholic drinks on a near-daily basis for long periods in his life, and frequently imbibed before, after, and during mealtimes, although he is not generally considered by historians to have been an alcoholic."  It evidently did not keep him from performing his job well during WWII.   In 1953 he suffered a stroke and resigned in 1955.


Rumors were that  "Franklin D. Roosevelt, victim of infantile paralysis and confined to a wheelchair,   was a big drinker. He always just seemed to find his way around alcohol. One good example was when his doctor put FDR on a low-fat diet, to try to help his hypertension and heart problems. But FDR became underweight, so the doctor told him he'd have to put on weight again. FDR's plan to gain it back? Drinking mass quantities of egg nog.  Yet he was voted in as our President 3 times. He wasn't considered an alcoholic.  


Hitler's father and Stalin have been  described as the "supreme alcoholic",  Both illustrate what happens when addiction is not overcome - particularly, it seems, when the sufferers wield great power.  Most likely Hitler's father played a big part in shaping his mental problems.  He fought constantly with the mother, who was Catholic.  His father spent much time in bars.   Hitler managed to use Jews as his personal scapegoat for all is personal problems, thus had the power to kill 6 million.  This is what these Arab leaders are using as an idol  to follow.

More Holocaust Documentation Revealed

German citizens, though denying knowledge of widespread existence of Nazi camps during WWII, could not  have gone anywhere in Germany without running into forced labor camps, POW camps, concentration camps.  They actually were everywhere.

We all have been aware of Auschwitz and a few other such camps that were used as the Nazi killing machines of 6 million Jews.  Poland's Warsaw Ghetto in 1943 is well known for the Jewish uprising that finally slaughtered them all.  It turns out that these sites were but a minuscule fraction of the entire German network.

It's taken the past 13 years to document all this evidence through the Holocaust Memorial Museum.  It's been documenting all the 42,500  ghettos, slave labor site, concentration camps and killing factories that the Nazis set up.  They were throughout Europe.  Germans were in control from France to Russia and Germany itself from 1933 to 1945.

In forced labor camps prisoners had to make war supplies.  Prisoner-of -war camps called "care" centers held pregnant women forced into abortions or see their babies killed when born.  They congruently became brothels for German military personnel.

Large sections of Germany and Poland became "black clusters of death, torture and slavery."15 to 20 million died in these unidentified sites.  Where we thought Nazi actions couldn't have been worse, we now know they were more than despicable.

All this time Amadinejad of Iran has been denying that the Holocaust ever happened.  Note that the Ottoman Empire was on the side of Germany in WWI and evidently also in WWII as books popular with Nazis such as Mein Kampf and 'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion'. are still popular with people like him.   "There was a well-documented, thriving relationship between the Arab/Muslim world and Nazi Germany, with perhaps the most significant figure linking Hitler to the Middle East being none other than the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem,  Haj Amin el-Husseini."

We have reminders of this connection.  Remember 1972?  "September 1972, Five Arab terrorists wearing track sweat suits climbed the 6-foot fence surrounding the Munich Olympics. A total of 11 Israeli athletes were murdered.  Neo-nazism perpetuates hatred for Jews.  It's something we have to be vigilant about.  

Those people who were in denial about what was going on during WWII are now dead.  We can't reprimand them about their history.  Why were they denying that such atrocities were going on when they could probably smell the smoke from the ovens or hear the cries?  Like the ostrich, if you keep you head in the sand you don't know what's happening.  They most likely felt they could not change matters and were afraid for themselves as well.  Unfortunately, they took no steps to stop such horror.  No one was brave enough or had leadership skills to do so, except a handful of people that tried and failed.   What's frightening is that the general population  failed to question such behavior.  The prevailing conditioned behavior was to follow orders and not to question authority.
