EU and World Bank Fund Anti-Semitic Programs of Palestinians

Nadene Goldfoot

One reason we're having an impossible time making peace with the Arabs who came into "Palestine" recently to find jobs with the Jews is that they have no concept of history, factual history.  These Arabs of today have been led to believe that Israel belongs to them and that the Jews stole it away from them.

This is not factual at all!  I blame their parents and grandparents and great grandparents for deceiving these young people about their history as well as all the nations who have fed into their delusions.  Their schools are culpable since they teach this.  Their whole culture is now based on these lies and it shows up in everything they do when a camera is on them.

The EU and the World Bank are the funders of a program (NGO) for the young people on Palestinian TV. It  was co-produced by PA TV and Pyalara, a Palestinian NGO for youth.  This is funded by NDC (NGO Development Center.)  The NDC's donors are:  EU, the World Bank, the French government's Agence Francaise de Developpement, and a donor consortium of Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden.   One of the programs was called "Sight of Jerusalem" that was broadcast in October.   The announcer said that Israelis in Jerusalem, which they covet highly and intend to take over in the peace process, are "crows and rats."  This seems to be a slight improvement over Iran's calling Jews a "virus."

They announced that only Arabic will be spoken in Jerusalem.  This is a subtle way of saying they are taking Jerusalem, and this is not saying East Jerusalem; simply Jerusalem, meaning all of it.  Then they go on to say that only Palestinians will be the nationality allowed in Jerusalem.  So this also cuts off any other Muslim nationalities like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, etc., only Palestinians allowed there.  They are not a nation, either, but a hodgepodge of many Arabs from all the surrounding countries.   This is pure apartheid announced to be practiced by this particular Arab group.  Believe me, if DNA testing were done on this political group, we would see an assortment of origins, being they originally came from ALL the surrounding countries of Israel seeking jobs in the late 1800's.  There were only a handful of Arab  landowners here being most of them had left long ago for Paris, Beirut, Damascus, and other ports where there was an enjoyment of living going on.

The broadcast of Sights of Jerusalem should have been viewed again at the peace table with Abbas and Israel's representatives to remind Kerry of the group's intentions.  The program denied Jewish history and the Jewish connection to Jerusalem by calling Israelis "foreigners."  Israel has had Jews living in the land ever since Jerusalem fell in 70 CE to the Romans.  They didn't all leave.  We have had the descendants of the Jews who fled return to their ancestor's land now.  Arabs did not originally live there.  Only Jews and Romans were on the land.  Any people from before Joshua and the 12 Tribes conquering the land were either killed or assimilated into the Jewish people there at the time.  They did not suddenly appear in the so called Palestinian people.

The narrator of this program called the blue and white Israeli flag the flag "of the foreigners" and called the white in the flag the color of a rag dipped in their blood instead of saying it was the color of peace.  How they connect this is beyond me, since blood is red, not white, but now we have been told.  They have white blood.

Pyalara (The Palestinian Youth Association) glorifies suicide terrorists.  This has been documented.

In the program they comment on the wall saying it disturbs them.  The audience is left dumb about the fact that the wall has saved lives of the Israeli citizens against Palestinian suicide bombers and such attacks.  They pan the Israeli flag in many ways as well as the star of David saying it does not light their way.  Then they talk of their unfounded fears as if they are real ones, that they may wake up to locked gates and expropriated houses in Jerusalem.   The only people who have suffered from this sort of thing have been the Jews who were locked in ghettos in Italy and also other places long ago.  I get the feeling that what they would do to Jews they fear will happen to them.  Of course they tell the youth that the gates of Jerusalem only smile for them.

Need I remind these Arabs that the land sat for 2,000 years and nothing happened to it.  No building, no trees, no food was grown there. Very few people lived there.  Nomads wandered through with their camels.   The only thing that happened was that weeds and mosquitoes grew in abundance.  They had 2,000 years to  claim the land.  They had from 1947 to 1967 and they were like they always have been. . Nothing happened to the land that Jordan held which included East Jerusalem.  They multiplied but did nothing with the land.  There was no state of Palestine.  The Palestinians didn't even consider a need for their own state since most declared they were actually Syrians.  Only after the failure of taking Israel by the many neighbors in 1967 did they suddenly make this noise about having a "Palestine."  It's simply a new tactic that the tired nations of the UN have caved into.  The League of Nations had voted all this land to be the Jewish Homeland but then 80% was given to Jordan in the end and now Israel is fighting for the 20% left for them of which  with the USA leading are ready to give away as well with  Kerry's leadership.

Insane UN Follows Syria's Lead

Nadene Goldfoot
Just when I thought there was hope for the UN, they've gone crazy again with their harping hatred against Israel.  They are demanding that Israel hand over control of the Golan to the merciless Syrian army.  We must realize now that they have flipped their lid!  This is at a time when wild rockets have landed in the Golan as a spillover from their constant barrages on their populace.  Golan  is under Israel's control and has been peaceful and a content area.  .

"At the UN Human Rights Council on Friday, March 8th, Syria accused Israel of violating human rights of children in the Golan, while diplomats met in another chamber on the same day to discuss a Syrian-drafted resolution to be adopted next week, entitled "Human Rights in the Occupied Syrian Golan." There will be five other resolutions targeting Israel, and about the same number on the rest of the world combined.  This is the most ridiculous ploy ever tried by Man.  At a time when the Syrian government has killed 70,000 of its own people who are rebellious and dissatisfied with their government, Syria has the audacity to turn around and put the floodlight on everyone's pet scapegoat, the Jews of Israel to get world attention off their own backs.  Pathetic!

The surreal UN text ignores mass atrocities of Assad's regime.  Instead of Syria doing the presentation, a "Pakistani colleague who chaired the session on behalf of the Islamic group presented the UN text.  .

Note that "not a single diplomat called out the sheer lunacy of the exercise. Rather, the EU commented that it was "committed to the protection of all, including those in the occupied Golan." It was willing to "constructively engage on the text," even as it noted that its proposals last year were not implemented.  Egypt, Israel's neighbor who was just awarded millions of dollars, pretty much as a bribe to stay peaceful with Israel, double-crossed the USA by  saying that  it aligned itself with the Islamic group. Of course they are a part of the Islamic group and were former leaders of it, so...what do people expect from them?  Whoever  is surprised is really quite naive.

And what kind of human rights does Saudi Arabia exhibit as an example for the world to follow?  "As we heard this week from Amnesty International, Saudi Arabia was preparing imminently to execute seven alleged child offenders including Sarhan Al Mashayekh—who was also sentenced to be crucified over three days. Why is the Council refusing to address this in any resolution, urgent session, or even debate?  The Saudis have executed them by firing squad.

The UN is either so afraid of Syria or so enamored with them that they "elected Syria as  Rapporteur of the decolonization committee dealing with human rights."

The Golan Heights was occupied by Israel after the 1967 War in which Israel was attacked by all Arab countries and won out.  Later in 1981 Israel annexed the Golan.  It is part of Israel.  Israel, led by Joshua, took the Golan from the Amorites.  The Israelite tribes of Dan and Manasseh had lived here.  It's back in Israel's domain again.

What is happening is that 21 UN peacekeepers that were Filipinos had been captured.  They were released after 3 days.  (Force made up of Philippines, India, Croatia, Austria.)   They were between Syria and Israel.  Then the UNDOF legal advisor was kidnapped and held for ransom.  Japan had already pulled out its men.Croatia and Canada have joined them.    "Israel warned 10 days ago that it could not be expected to stand idle as Syria's civil war, in which 70,000 people have been killed, spilled over into the Golan Heights."   "UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in a December report to the Security Council that fighting between Syrian armed forces and rebels inside the area of separation has "the potential to ignite a larger conflict between Israel and the Syrian Arab Republic, with grave consequences."  Now the UN have pulled out their peacekeeping patrols.  1,000 Syrian rebels are fighting only 25 km or about 15 miles  from the Golan.  Then again, Syria is still ticked off because in January Israel bombed a fleet carrying chemical weapons bound to be used on Israel, and also hit the center they were being manufactured in.  Now they're getting even with this preposterous claim.  Of course Russia and Iran stood with Syria.

Netanyahu plans to build a border fence between Syria and Israel in the Golan.

EU Finally Condemns Hamas Rhetoric

Nadene Goldfoot
The Oregonian newspaper has an article, EU rips Israel on settlements along with one above it:  EU receives Peace Prize, plea for economic unity.  I pondered when they had ever bothered to say a positive thing about Israel and have never said anything in regards to the Palestinians doing the wrong thing by not recognizing Israel and threatening to drive Israel into the sea, destroy Israel, and so on.

I googled information and evidently Netanyahu's accusation about the international community of "deafening silence" got to somebody because I found in the Internet from 20 hours ago that the EU, with a bloc of 27 foreign ministers,  is now, finally, condemning Hamas's rhetoric and said that it was unacceptable that they deny Israel's right to exist.

They are still harping on the E1 corridor plans that Israel has been holding in abeyance since about 1994 of developing that with housing.  They think that if this comes about, would seriously undermine the prospects of a negotiated resolution.   Probably none of the 27 have visited Israel in person or looked at a map, for they'd have to have a large map of Israel and not a world map as you can hardly see the teeny country hugging the coast with a width from 4 miles to 9 miles.

I think the 27 foreign ministers can rest easy because as long as the Palestinians take the stance they have, which is not looking good to me right now with Fatah and Hamas in collusion, it will be a long time before they are ready to accept Israel.  Thus, there is no reason for Israel to wait for any peace talks and let this prime real-estate go to waste.  At any rate, it serves the Palestinians right to not have made peace.  The longer they wait each day they should lose any thought of gaining land.  I don't know what kind of international lawyers they have, but 3 prominent ones have stated that Israel has the right to build.  The Israeli government has stated over and over that "facts and history both prove that Jewish settlement never constituted an obstacle to peace.  The EU's focus on this issue is mistaken".

However, the EU warned Israel of unspecified consequences if it goes through with plans to build thousands of new homes in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria.  They're also deeply dismayed by Israeli plans to expand settlements in east Jerusalem."  Oh really.  It's only Israel's capital and had been during King David's reign and his son's reign and so on down to 70 CE when the Romans attacked in their greed to build a bigger empire.  Now Israel should hold it for the Palestinians who want to destroy them?  The Europeans do have weird logic.  That's not even logic like the Duke (John Wayne) would use.  Can you picture him saying oh sure, we were attacked by 8 countries and won, and sure, we won't touch the land you lost to us by attacking, but you can have it anytime you want cause we sure don't want what was ours, once upon a time, even though you hate us and say you'll never let us live in peace.

Like Netanyahu said, the EU has double standards.  Why so harsh always against Israel and not on all the other countries in the Middle East?  For starters, Britain, who held the mandate, reneged on the deal with Chaim Weizmann on the Jewish Homeland by giving away 80% of the planned land to an Arab Sheiks' middle son.  They all wanted land and had helped in the war in WWI fight against the Ottoman Empire.  Weizmann was a chemist who invented something that made the British ammunition much better.  In fact, it's most likely they would have lost had it not been for Weizmann's invention.  That's the only reason they were going to reward him with land that he and his committee had been hoping to attain.  This is when Israel accepted the 20% and the Palestinians refused their huge piece.

Germany was one of the Axis, the main one, in fact.  They had become much more sympathetic or dutiful after the WWII towards Israel but since they are now head of the finances of the EU, are going along with the criticism of Israel.  With 26 others on the bandwagon to find fault without studying the map or talking to Netanyahu, they are not sticking out as before.

France caves in quickly no matter what.  They once were for liberty and freedom, but that was another day.  Italy?  That's a country that never has been one to back Israel.  The Pope has a lot to do with that.

Also, there's the little fact that these European countries now have sizable Muslim populations and are probably sensitive to political votes from them.  It's almost becoming like Israel trying to get sympathy from the Muslim countries.  They are trying to be so proper but are backing the real bullies in the world.  They see Israel with great weapons to fight against this terror and that's all they see.  Then again, these Muslim countries are still the only ones with so much oil that they all need.  It's probably killing them to deal with Iran like the USA is doing such as having sanctions.

Iran happens to be the big backer of terrorism and supplies the Palestinians with weapons.  Now Qatar's Emir himself has visited Gaza with a huge check, and Qatar is everyone's friend including the USA.  In the meantime, Abbas is out of money and is asking all his Muslim country friends to supply him with more as he would like to pay salaries.

Through it all, Israel stands quite alone, except for the USA.  My advice to the EU is to look at a map and see that their fears are definitely mistaken.  Whenever Palestine is created, they will not be cut off.  My question that they haven't considered is that the Palestine planned is to be free of Jews, for the Muslims are all for apartheid.  How is Israel to get to their Holy places?  Israel will be cut off!'

Update: 12/11/12; 2:34pm http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/01/world/middleeast/israel-moves-to-expand-settlements-in-east-jerusalem.html?hp&_r=1& correction on agreeing with Netanyahu; land not cut off.

Anti-Semitic Attacks Continue in France

Nadene Goldfoot
Only 3 months ago a rabbi, his two children and another 8 year old girl were killed outside their Jewish school in Toulouse, France by an Algerian-French terrorist, Mohamed Merah. Why?  They were Jews, part of a 500,000 Jewish population in France.   Then French authorities promised to crack down on Muslim extremism and anti-Semitic incidents, but they have become more frequent instead.  What has happened to their resolve?

"The month after this attack there has been 140 such acts" commented CRIF Vice President Ariel Goldman in his chat with Le Figaro.  "This is 1/3 of the violent incidents the Jews had had in 2011.

Jews there are under constant attack.  "Not a week passes without anti-Semitic assaults in France." said Joel Mergui, president of the Central Consistory which works to coordinate local Jewish communities.  The chief rabbi of the Grand synagogue in Lyon, Richard Wertenschlag said the atmosphere" was unbearable."

Saturday night three 18 year old  Jewish men wearing their kippas  near the southern city of Lyon were attacked by 10 men outside a Jewish center in Villeurbanne.  They were beaten up with a hammer and metal rod in which two had to be taken to the hospital.  One was hit on the head and another hit on his neck.    Police thought the attackers were of "North African extraction."

Incidents like this are becoming more frequent so that the community is taking them for granted.

Jews are also under attack in southern Israel and Palestinian Arabs refuse to recognize the state, and here we have Jews living in France now under attack as well.  Where are they expected to live?  This is why Israel is needed;  a refuge for a people constantly under attack by someone.  Now the problem is just to get it recognized.

The EU has even heard about anti-Semitism going on and their answer to this is to take a survey to see if Jews in Europe feel safe or not.  .  They are asking Jews in Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Sweden and the UK about it.  This is a first.  What they will do with the answers will be interesting.  France hasn't done that much and they know it's going on.

European Union's Catherine Ashton Wins Chutzpah Prize: No Understanding of Terror Attacks and Being the Victim

Nadene Goldfoot
The Foreign Policy chief of the European Union, the British Labor politician, Catherine Ashton, had the Chutzpah to compare this recent shooting attack at a Jewish school in Toulouse where 3 children and a teacher were murdered at point blank range with others wounded seriously and the children in Gaza who are accidently caught in the line of shooting from Israel's planes because the terrorists hide out among urban centers for their own protection.  Israel double checks and must have permission before bombing with people who watch out for these things, but sometimes there have been children in the area anyway.  It's something Israel tries hard to avoid.  The attacks from Israel have come only after much bombing on Israel has occurred and feels it must protect its own citizens.

Ashton doesn't think about the thousands of Israeli children who spend their lives in bomb shelters from these same Gaza missiles and who also aspire for a better future against all odds.  Only Israel's protective steps have kept the fatalities of Israelis down, unlike what happens in Gaza, whose terrorists glorify such a thing.

What is wrong with her?  Is she so afraid to remark that it is terrible as to what has happened in France?
Now that her comment has gone viral, she's saying it was taken out of context.  It remains a comparison between killers and victims showing no difference.  The slaughter in Toulouse remains an act of anti-Semitism, regardless of whether the killer on the motorcycle was a Nazi, as many now think with some good evidence, or a  maddened Frenchman.  Her statement certainly doesn't help to cure the state of such a disease.  It's like opening up Pandora's box and letting out all the hateful mongers who want to see Israel driven into the sea..  If she doesn't want to see the difference and holds it up in comparison, what can we hope for the rest of the EU?

France Bends to the Will of...Trade Benefits With Gaza & Co.

Nadene Goldfoot
Don't count on the European Union of 27 countries to back Obama when he vetoes the creation of the state of Palestine on September 22nd.  France's Sarkozy has  a mind to do otherwise and keep the European Union with him.  Abbas, being the negotiator and speaker for Hamas and Fatah Arabs, is trying to obtain recognition without going through a peace agreement with Israel.  They have been busy shelling Israel and will not sit at the table to create a peace treaty with their very close neighbor.  Obama has promised to veto Hamas and Fatah at this time.  The situation has been something like this:

Abbas:  We want all of Judea and Samaria and want all the Jews to leave from there.
We want all of the descendants of Arabs who lived here for even only 2 years to return.  This includes the 4 wives for each man and their children which could be anywhere from 20 to 20 per woman.  And their concubines as well.
           We want all of Jerusalem.
Netanyahu:  Wait a minute!  We have to talk about this.
Abbas:  No-this is it.  It's all or I'm leaving.
(He gets up and leaves, thinking to himself; and we want all of Israel, too.)

French President Nicolas Sarkozy is after a trade deal with the Palestinian Authority and will take their fish and farm products of cut flowers, fruits and vegetables.  In return the Hamas-Fatah Arabs will buy EU machinery, chemicals and transport equipment.

Sarcozy criticized only Obama for not doing more towards peace.  There is no mention of him criticizing Hamas or Abbas for shelling Israel and not coming to a peace agreement with them.  Sarcozy uses the Arab Spring as the reason for his wanting a trade deal now.

This will give the exporters unlimited duty-free trade with European markets.  Trade between the EU and Judea/Samaria and Gaza was only worth 60 million euros in 2009.  Hamas exports made up just 10% of exports to the EU.  Their economy, they complain, is weakened by chronoic conflict with Israel!  How ironic is it that they are the ones that initiate this conflict by raining Qassam rockets, mortars and missiles on Israel!

The EU is built on the idea of the 50 states making up the USA on a single continent.  Like us," they launched a single European currency to use between their 27 states, and are progressively building a single Europe-wide market in which people, goods, services, and capital move among Member States as freely as within one country."  They all had the majority of the Christian religion with a majority of Caucasians for citizens in each country.  Freely trading between them today should keep them all from starting wars such as the World's 2nd destructive war.  They have a great plan for their continent and it seems to be working.  They cannot consider that what they are proposing with Abbas is on the same wave length and will bring about peace.  They're only going to be stoking the furnace for a greater fire.

They have the ability to tell Abbas and his group of terrorists that if they stop attacking Israel and come to a respectable peace agreement they will have such markets.  It could be the reward for becoming peaceful.  Instead, they will have more power and be more belicose, if that indeed is possible.  By not thinking about what they could do to bring about peace, all they have thought of doing is to criticize Obama and most likely Israel as well.

This will be construed as backing Abbas's bid for a recognized state of Palestine.  Right now even Jordan is telling Abbas to reconsider statehood.  It seems like only the EU's interests will benefit if  Palestine is recognized without becoming a peaceful state.

France is no longer the nation known for its democratic values who risked their necks in helping the fledgling America to fight against the British.  I can hardly believe that our Statue of Liberty was a gift from them.

Considering what has been happening in France with all the immigrants there from Arab countries, I am not surprised.

The countries France hopes will follow Sarkozy's lead are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and of course, the United Kingdom which is made  up of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.  Hopefully, some of these countries will have the backbone and integrity to think for themselves and not help instigate another wrong against Israel.  .

Quit Calling Jewish Cities Settlements in Judea and Samaria

Nadene Goldfoot
Ariel is a city of  18,000 inhabitants in Samaria and is 33 years old.  That's not a settlement.  Settlement is a political word meant to make the reader think it's a group of 4 or 5 trailers that's been somewhere for a few weeks.  New construction was announced to happen in Ariel, as if that isn't something that would happen in Portland, Oregon after 33 years.  What the construction is are 277 housing units to be built.  This city lies 11 miles east of the Green Line.  It has a university with 11,000 students of which almost 1,000 are Arabs.

Ariel is considered the Jewish capital of Samaria though it is the 4th largest city in Judea/Samaria.  The first three larger ones are Mode'in Illit, Beitar Illit and Ma'ale Adumem.  It's population is almost the same as Sherwood, Washington County, Oregon which has 18,194 people.  Ariel lies in the biblical heartland of the Jewish people.  It is managing to have a successful economy.

Israel needs housing.  The Arabs have wasted 63 years of Israel's lives and time by not negotiating with them no matter who the Prime Minister has happened to be or recognizing Israel as a state.  Since they haven't negotiated with Israel, the country is going ahead with plans needed for their lives now.  Israelis believe in living, and do not look with favor on death and dying.  If the Arabs want to be that way, Israelis might as well go ahead and use their own ancient land where their ancestors once walked.  Israelis are tired of waiting.  They just recently demonstrated for days their need for more housing.  Their needs must be attended to by their government.

Catherine Ashton of the EU Foreign Affairs is miffed.  She feels that Israel is undermining confidence and is derailing efforts to resume negotiations with the Arabs.  I am miffed also, but with the Arabs as I feel they have derailed negotiations by getting up and leaving the table where Netanyahu was in the act of talking about peace negotiations!  The Arabs undermine confidence in peace possibilities when they refuse to recognize Israel as a Jewish state after 63 years!  There is nothing on the side of the Arabs except their Declaration to destroy the Jewish state in their Hamas Charter.  That sure stalls peace with me.  Doesn't that bother Catherine just a little?   No, I have a suspicion that the Arabs, after 63 years are afraid of making peace with Israel.  They have no intention of doing so.  It will take a love fest of all the other Arab states to swear their love of Israel before Hamas and Fatah will come to peaceful terms.  Of everthing that has been offered to them, just what does Catherine think it will take to bring peace about?  There is a limit to Israel's patience as well.

The Ummah, Organization of Middle East Countries

27 states in Europe called the European Union have joined forces together much like our 50 American states in that they have one market and standard laws for all. You do not need a passport to travel through 22 of these countries if you are one of them. 16 of the countries use the same money-the euro. Their unity is for their economy and politics. This takes in 500 million people in these states.

Right now the French are having fits and rioting in the streets because the government of France has raised retirement at age 60 to 62. They get 2 hour lunches and work only 4 days a week. Shall we all move to France? Sounds like heaven except for the rioting.

50 states make up our United States. of America. We have 307,006, 550 people, a smaller group than the EU. We have a separation of religion and politics. States have states rights but we have a common currency, also for all 50 of us. Right now the public wants more states rights and less Federal control.

There are 56 countries and the Palestinian Authority that have united in the Middle East which is called the Organization of the Islamic Conference or OIC. Their unity is to form an Ummah, a universal religious community which is based on the Koran, the Sunna, and the canonical orthodoxy of shari'a. Their unity is for their religion and political organization. They are very similar to the Muslim World League of the Muslim Brotherhood. This takes in more than one billion three to six hundred million Muslims. They have their permanent delegation at the United Nations. This is why I and others feel the U.N. is top-heavy with Arabs who are against Israel.

Ths IOC is restoring the Caliphate which is the supreme controlling body for all Muslims. Their 2008 charter says that they are promoting Islamic values and are to revitalize the role of Islam in the world, increase their prosperity and ensure the defense of their national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

They proclaim their support for Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital and get each other to promote human rights, basic freedoms, shari'a and democracy according to their constitutional and legal systems-meaning compliance with sharia.

They support all jihadist movements considered to be resisting "foreign occupation," pointing out Indian Kashmir and Muslims in India. No doubt they are thinking about Palestine.

The Secretary General Professor Ekmeleddin lhsanoglu is very much against the 240 houses that are to be built by Israelis in East Jerusalem. He calls this "our aggression." Naturally, as their intentions are to take over all of Jerusalem, they are against our building.

They are anti-Jewish, and in 2003 the Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad said that the Jews control the world: "They invented socialism, communism, human rights and democracy, so that persecuting them would appear to be wrong, so that they can enjoy equal rights with others. With these they have gained control of the most powerful countries and they, this tiny community, have become a world power”. He also said that “The Europeans killed six million Jews out of 12 million, but today the Jews rule the world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them”. Another member said that he was only trying to show that Jews have survived by their brains and not their brawn, but it certainly sounded anti-semitic to all those in attendance.

Naturally they were very vocal about Human Rights in condemning Israel. Human Rights Watch says that OIC has “fought doggedly” and successfully within the United Nations Human Rights Council to shield states from criticism, except when it comes to criticism of Israel. For example, when independent experts reported violations of Human Rights in the 2006 Lebanon War, “state after state from the OIC took the floor to denounce the experts for daring to look beyond Israeli violations to discuss Hezbollah’s as well”. In other words, Israel was all wrong and don't you dare bring up any criticism about the terrorists, Hezbollah.

The Palestinians are threatening to proclaim their state regardless if there are any peace talks between Abbas and Netanyahu or not and demand the take-over of Jerusalem. The odds are unbelievably against us that they will win support in the UN. Is the world going to allow this?

And Israel? Israel is all alone except for Ha Shem. Israel is a state by itself. The United States has been a friend ever since its birth in 1948, but just that, only a friend, and that has not always been reliable. Friends do have their spats. It's enduring and creating ideas and businesses amidst an environment of bombs bursting in their back yards, of fixing up their bomb shelters, of dealing with extinction from Iran and of course neighbors that are not inviting them over for milk and cookies. The OIC knows they exist because of their brains. Ha Shem gave the Arabs oil, but he gave the Jews brains. We're going to have to depend on them and Ha-Shem, for that is all we have.
