Iranian Deal Reached: Is It Good For the Jews?

A deal with Iran has been signed which affects the next 6 months.  It's not a great deal, not a good deal, but a deal whereby we have unloosened sanctions that we'll never get back.  Pundits were talking about how hard they were to get in the first place.  We had people like Russia and China that had to come to agreement with England, France, USA and Germany.  One pundit described their nuclear plans like baking a cake.  They still have all the ingredients to make it.  They can wait for 6 months.

Obama spoke from 7:33 pm to 7:41 pm, all of 8 minutes.  He was late as usual in coming to the mike.  Kerry spoke for a much longer time.  Obama thinks more about politics and wanting to leave one legacy of something he brought about.  After 5 days, they finally got this signed in Geneva, Switzerland.  Iran has been in operation of starting a nuclear program for the past 10 years.

One thing we were all listening for was what was going to be done with enriched material they have on hand.  The second thing of interest was about the centrifuges.  In 2003 they had 164 centrifuges.  Today they have 19,000 centrifuges.  If these are destroyed, they can always make more.  The third thing is about their plutonium reactor they have in Iraq.  What about that?  The most important thing is the ability to verify what they say.  Iran has done nothing but lie about their capabilities.   They can pretend to drop the program but keep on doing it.

Evidently the European Union will be very happy to have this agreement as they are chomping at the bit to trade with Iran.  There's money to be made.  Iran gets a lot, in the billions.  Iran will get 6 to 9 billion dollars in relief.  The relief will be in the form of being able to retrieve gold and petrol dollars, for example.  They have had their economy hobbled by the sanctions so will get something like 4.2 billion in aid in foreign currencies, and 6 to 10 billion in the next 6 months because they will only continue with their enrichment program by 3.5%.  Inspectors will be able to keep tabs on their work daily through cameras, I believe they said.  That worried me right away after watching our American TV programs on Law and Order.  Cameras can be set to show what the   person owning the cameras want to show.  I hope I was hearing wrong.

What Iran was fishing for and got was to be active in a role pertaining to Syria, for one.  Probably they want to be in on the Palestinian talks and Israel talks, too, though nothing else was  mentioned beyond Syria.  They are hungry for power.

We do have people who are sceptical besides me.  Major General Bob Scales remembered the deal with North Korea when Clinton was the President.  .  He also thought the bones of the deal should be kept in place and not to make cosmetic concessions.

Saudi Arabia and Israel and others will not be resting comfortably with this deal.  It may impede Iranian  progress  but it isn't stopping it.  Kerry thinks they would wind up with nothing evidently if they didn't take this opportunity.  This is Western thinking dealing with an old easterner.  A pundit mentioned the fact that Israel and Saudi Arabia have intuitive feelings about this and have dealt with the the Middle East much more than our Western contingent with Kerry and they should be listened to.

No, the deal is not good for the Jews. A good deal would be to dismantle their program.   Netanyahu said that Kerry gave up too much.  I knew he'd do that.  He's never bartered in a shuk.  You don't pay the first price asked.  Evidently he had had it after 5 days of meetings.

Iran said they had no plans to destroy Israel and that there is a fatwa against that, but at the same time their religious leaders, mullahs, were calling Israel such pet names as stinking dogs and pariahs.  This, coming from religious leaders doesn't offer much comfort and trust.  Ahmadinejad did so much lying.  People on this team cannot count on trusting what they hear.  Seeing is believing.  They must verify everything.  Did they bring about any dismantling of the centrifuges?  No.  The Plutonium?  No.  We'll just have to see what's happening in around June the 1st.

Iran's Plans for Nuclear Sub

Iran doesn't really need medical supplies that come only from nuclear materials.  This country is now planning to get either offensive or defensive with a nuclear sub.   "Their program is not now, nor has it ever been, civilian in nature. It is a military program. The U.S. and our allies need to get serious about crippling economic and diplomatic sanctions, and we need to do it right now."  They say they have a sub planned so that they can justify refining uranium to a higher level.  The cart is before the horse.  Again they say that the sub is for peace only.  I don't know why they say this being nobody can believe them. " No agreement was reached in Baghdad but the seven countries agreed to continue discussions in Moscow."


Three weeks ago Israel bought 4 Dolph class diesel-electric subs from Germany that are capable of launching nuclear-tipped cruise missiles within range of Syria and Iran with a 1,500 km radius.  .

While Israel has taken the rain of Gaza made up of mortars, missiles and rockets for the past 12 years, the world is complaining that it is Israel that is the major threat to world peace.  Nobody says a word about the fact that they have not had any peace since 1948.   If there isn't a major war on, there are lots of suicide bombers and pot-shots going on against the tiny state.

The USA has more nuclear subs than anyone in the world.  They have ballistic missiles and attack missiles that are nuclear powered.  The Tomahawk Land Attack missile travels 1,000 miles inland. There are 43 Los Angeles subs and 19 that are retired.  There is the Sturgeon, the Seawolf and the Virginia,  There are 18 in the Ohio class.  The difference between the USA and Iran is that the USA has them for defensive weapons, not to start a war with.  The same is for Israel.  If irrational enemies have such weapons, one must protect themselves.

Are Western Appeasers Following in Chamberlain's Folly?

One of the things the Oregonian newspaper didn't report to us this morning was that Major General Hassan Firouzabadi, Iran's military chief of staff,  said that the Iranian nation is standing for its cause and that is the full annihilation of Israel.  He said this to a defense gathering in Tehran.  He continued in saying that the world should recognize the dangers imposed by the Zionist regime of Israel and the idea that Khamenaei considered defending Palestine as a religious imperative.  This is the religious leader defending the Muslim Arabs against Israel, who has had to fight since 1948 to keep their territory and not be driven into the sea, a territory that was declared a state by the U.N.  We conclude that if Iran gets a uranium capacity to manufacture nuclear weapons, they will no doubt use them first on Israel.  Persia had once been the Jews' arch foe from the days of Queen Esther and King Ahashueros when Haman plotted to kill all the Jews everywhere.  The ending of that story was that the tables were turned and Haman and his 7 sons were hung instead.

The UN's IAEA went through the motions of doing something to solve the problem by holding meetings in January and February 2012 in Tehran, Iran.  Then they met in Vienna, Austria on May 14th and 15th.  They said the atmosphere was "upbeat."  They talked about fighting cancer, food safety and security, water needs and other applications of nuclear technology.  Their main agenda was supposed to be  over Iran's disputed uranium enrichment program.  This is to be followed up with another meeting in Baghdad tomorrow, Wednesday, May 23rd.

Yukiya Amano, the director-general is the spokesman for this International Atomic Energy Agency  had visited Iran in 2009.  He said the meeting had been very useful.  His job has been to get Iran to allow inspections of a site they suspect has done secret tests for the detonation of a nuclear weapon which of course Iran ridicules.  They're talking about Parchin, which they had inspected back in 2005, 12 years ago.  They haven't even reached an agreement on a framework of the beginning of a compromise where Iran would stop enriching uranium to 20% purity.  In a trade-off Iran could produce their own fuel at a much lower rate which would not be usable for nuclear weapons.  Will they ever reach a compromise?

Look at the Ayatolla's goal in life.  The group is talking to an apocalyptic regime with leaders who believe it is their religious duty to bring in the 2nd coming of the Hidden Iman who plan to not be deterred from their sacred mission.  I ask again, what are the chances of compromise?

As for the United States, their invasion of Iraq is now being held against them as far as being in the negotiating business by Iran.  IAEA must have been a holdout at the time as Iran thinks they are independent of the USA so is going through the motions of bartering with them as if they were in a shuk (open market).  Saeed Jalili, Iran's top nuclear negotiator mentioned that his country was a "serious supporter of global disarmament and didn't want nuclear weapons to be spread about in the world either.  No, of course not, as long as they are the only ones who have them, I imagine.  He threw in that member states should use it for peaceful nuclear technology, but then they won't even go for inspections!  How weird can they get?

People do like deluding themselves as British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain did in his 1938 declaration that he had achieved "peace in our time."  Then the Nazis marched right through Europe and exterminated six million Jews.  Netanyahu said "I don't think Iran is serious about ending its nuclear program.  Iran is "very good" at buying time."  He was speaking in the Czech Republic with 6 other ministers to sign cooperation agreements who will give Israel their support.

What is all this meeting each other doing for Iran's cause?  Giving them time to finish what they have been building.  That's what Israel fears. Netanyahu said that Iran could be using talks as a game where they agree to something but do not do it, or agree to do something that wouldn't stop his own goal of making nuclear weaponry.  It's like a chess game and so far they are winning.   When they say, "know thy enemy, " take it to heart.  I might ask why the newspapers only give us the upbeat side of the story?  Doesn't any reporter on the wires understand Farsi?  Reporters in Israel understand and are not misquoting.

What's the Worst Danger For Israel?

There are many dangers surrounding Israel. It's almost hard to pick the worst one. The biggest for Defense Minister Ehud Barak is that old ancient kingdom, Persia, which today is called Iran. It is the biggest because they are able to manipulate the system and are about to obtain nuclear weapons. Of course, who else would they use such weapons on? They've threatened Israel so many times already.

The USA is also in harm's way. Iran is getting away with disobeying the Security Council decisions and directives from the International Atomic Energy Agency. As they see they can get away with moving toward military nukes, they will just keep on going. North Korea and Pakistan have nuclear weapons now, even though they had tough sanctions. Where's the reason to stop Iran from doing so?

Israel can't afford a lot of time for the world to decide to act and prevent Iran from reaching this destructive goal. The longer they wait, Iran will have the time to  finish the job. Israel would like to see world cooperation in working on a solution and they feel all options are on the table. Israel and Egypt have had good relations ever since Sadat came to Israel and made peace. Mubarak was able to continue that relationship. Now that the Muslim Brotherhood is stepping into power, that peace is on the line. They have just had a commercial dispute over their gas supply agreement with Israel. Usually, trade or business between two countries can keep them on a peaceful relationship. I hate to see this happen.

Is Iran's Nuclear Weapon Close At Hand?

AIPAC's televised conference yesterday included talks from the Republican presidential candidates reiterating their support for Israel and the dangers stemming from Iran's producing nuclear weapons.  They would all act quickly to deter Iran's capabilities and chastise Obama for not doing enough.

This morning's Oregonian ran the article by Jackie Calmes and Mark Landler of NY Times News Service, "Obama rips GOP over Iran stance."  Obama forcefully rebuked GOP on the campaign trail and in Congress.  They are stirring up war by criticizing Obama's using diplomatic solutions to Iran's nuclear program.  Obama held a TV news conference on the same day that AIPAC's conference was held. 

Obama's position is that they are speaking without responsibilities and are promoting the costs of war. (Now he's thinking about costs.)  He wants time to allow allow diplomacy and sanctions to work.  He rejected the idea that Iran was so close to a nuclear weapon.  He felt the problem didn't need to be resolved right now or even by two months from now.  He said that sanctions were beginning to harm Iran's oil industry and central bank and would get stronger in the next few months.  Iran signaled it wants to go to the negotiating table about their nuclear program now.  Premature military action now would be risky.  He says he's thinking of the consequences for Israel and the USA. He's just giving honest and unvarnished advice.  When he said that when he said that he has Israel's back, he wasn't giving any kind of go ahead to a pre-emptive strike on Iran.

Why is Israel so adamant that action must be on the table now along with Republican contenders?  David Albright who is with the Institute for Science and International Security, was a former UN nuclear inspector and has a very strong opinion based on science.  "Iran already had the ability to make highly enriched uranium and a crude nuclear weapon."  Netanyahu has already explained that there is just one window of opportunity to try to destroy the underground rooms where Iran is doing all this.  If a country waits too long, the window can be closed and it will be impossible to stop them.  Timing is of the highest importance.  The outcome can become a world under Sharia law as well as finding Israel completely destroyed. 

This "crude nuclear weapon" will be able to destroy a city in a flash.  "It can be as big as a large refrigerator or a walk in closet."  It could be transported in a U-Haul truck or shipping container.  It could be set off with a timer or cell phone or garage door opener.  Even a suicide bomber could detonate it.  The possibilities are too great. 

The USA has gone to war with Iraq, helped out Libya  and now Afghanistan.  Obama wants to decrease our armed forces and arms.  Now the time has come to face Iran's Shi'a Islamic country of 76,923,300 people whose religious element wish to bring about their Messiah and take over the world. 

Romney said that the go-slow approach of the present administration is not the way to go. Hope is not a "foreign policy." Thugs and tyrants  only respect our power and our readiness to use it.  Santorum is against resuming talks with Iran and feels it is another appeasement, delay or opportunity to go forward while we talk. 

Yes, it is not fair for Iran to be ready to create arms that could wipe out the world, as they are not rational thinkers, but it is just like them to take advantage of the facts that confront them and feel they can now get away with their plot.  We're down and possibly ready to be attacked.  Can we rally before its too late? 

Iran's leaders are Holocaust deniers. The President calls it a myth and say that Jews play it up to extort sympathy for Israel from Europe.   Ahmadinejad is anti-Semitic and anti-Israel.  He constantly demonizes Israel and calls for its destruction at every opportunity.  He says it is a "fake regime" that must be wiped off the map.  To him, zionists are the most detested people in all humanity.  Iran sponsors anti-Zionism conferences and pseudo-academic lectures and exhibits in trying to deny the Holocaust. In their minds, they do want to destroy Israel.  Once, in Queen Esther's day, Hamen almost succeeded in doing just such a thing, but his plot was foiled by Queen Esther, the King Ahashuaros's secret Jewish wife. 

In 2007 the House of Representatives  had a hard time taking Ahmadinejad seriously as they have problems with translations.  Israel had heard "expressions of love" for years before this.  On December 15, 2000, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called Israel a cancerous tumor that must be uprooted.   On October 26, 2005, Ahmadinejad was calling Israel "dirty vermin" that needed to be eradicated, and Israel was taking that and other threats quite seriously.  April 14, 2006 Ahmadinejad said that the world had to be rid of this "germ", meaning Israel, and that it was possible and imminent.  Israel was heading towards annihilation.  February 20, 2008 Iran called the "Zionist regime" a black and filthy microbe.  April 17, 2008 Iran called Israel a dreaded rotten tree and Satanic enemies. 

The question is:  Is Iran going through all this trouble just to rile the West with their sincere goal of making medical isotopes?  If the answer is yes, I think Iran has found willing buyers for that bridge in Tehran that's for sale.  They're up no good.  It's interesting that Ahmadinejad has just lost some of his power in the supposed elections since April 2011.  .  He and Khamenei have been in a power struggle, and many feel Ahmadinejad may not even last out his term that is to end in 2013, but that the presidency may become null and void.  Iran will become 100% theocracy then. 

It looks like Ahmadinejad can only stall like Santorum said if he goes to any talks.  He can't change the course or Khamenei will have his head.  Radical Shi'a Islam is ruling their political course.

Iran's Fordo Underground Uranium Plans

In the mid 2009's, Western intelligence discovered the 2nd Fordo underground uranium enrichment facility near Qom in Iran.  Constuction had already begun.

It is surmised that  Iran is just waiting for the go ahead signal from 72 year old Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, head of these Shi'a Muslims,  to make a nuclear bomb.

An American think-tank, The Enterprise Institute, thought that one could be made as soon as August. 

The USA and Israel are concerned because of the deadly threats they have received from Iran.  The USA, UK and France have condemned the project.  They are making 20% enrichment which is a step towards making uranium weapons-grade uranium.  This is an escalation of violations they have committed. 

Iran has been the dominant Persian Gulf state.  In September 1980 The smaller Iraq, led by Saddam Hussein,  had invaded Iran, trying to upset this dominance.  This war continued till August 1988.  Iran had 50 million men and lost 1 million.  Iraq had 17 million and lost from 250,000 to 500,000.  I remember that it was down to children fighting children as reported in the newspaper. 

Now Iran has this deep underground facility that most likely will be making deadly bombs.  Their leadership is short on having feelings for the lives of others.  The USA is not about to allow this to happen-if they can prevent it.  It's bad enough that any nation has such ammunition, but in the hands of people who find life valueless is a different issue.  Everyone feels the threat.  Calling out barbs of hatred enough times in this case has not made people immune to the threat.  It has sharpened  it enough so that we feel the pain and are ready to apply the antiseptic.

April 2012 Drill Called Off by Israel with USA

Everyone has been worried about Iran's nuclear weapon program.  The USA has been hesitant with the sanctions on Iran by penalizing their central bank which is meant to stop this development.  The bill was passed but fixed so that nothing happened with it except in slow stages throughout a whole year.  Several of Israel's leaders, such as Moshe Yaalon, said that the USA was "hesitant" about doing this, and Avigdor Lieberman felt the USA should "move from words to deeds".  Israel feels that given another 6 months being free of penalities, Iran will be able to have a nuclear weapon program at a dangerous and irreversible level.  It's too late then for any sanctions.  Obama has given them too much time to work on it. 

What is disappointing to Israel is that Washington hasn't done a thing since Iran captured the RQ-170 stealth drone on December 4th, even after Obama's demand on Dec. 12th.  This has given Tehran ammunition to be demanding.  They have circulated a new computer game called "Down the RQ-170."  It's a game where players assemble the drone and then launch it for attacks on the USA. 

Now Iran has started a 20% grade uranium enrichment at the underground Fordo facility near Qom which was the Jan. 9th news.  Israel had warned the USA last November 17th and 22nd that as soon as the Fordo went on stream, Iran would hide its work in underground bunkers  Barak told the USA that Israel could not abide with this development. 

On January 3, General Ataollah Salehi, Iran's Army chief, said that the aircraft carrier USS Stennis and other ships would be barred from the Strait of Hormuz.  None has tested this threat, so Iran is now boasting about their success. 

This joint military exercise of the USA and Israel has been called off by Netanyahu.  I note that the news comes after the USA sent a top General to Israel to calm them down about Iran's nuclear abilities.  Of course Israel is more concerned about Iran's capabilities than the USA seems to be.  If Iran gets atomic weapons, and Israel is fighting Lebanon's Hezbollah terrorists as well as Gaza's Hamas terrorists, these two groups are backed by Iran and will receive such weaponry.  Syria has massive chemical weapons which could be used against Israel.  Hezbollah terrorists are also  there, and if Assad falls, which could be soon, such chemical and atomic weapons will be in their hands.

Iran's procurement of atomic weapons will set off an atomic arms race.  The world will become a global nuclear jungle. 

Who has any real plans to stop Iran?  It appears that only Israel is taking the threat seriously.  Iran is not a country like France or England or Canada.  The leaders are filled with hatred for the West and for Jews in particular.  They're immersed in Nazi literature that teaches this hatred.  That's why, when a country gains such lethal power, the sane countries must come together and act on such a threat.  This is not a time to think like Herbert Hoover and "not mix in,"  for at this rate there will soon come a day when all the science fiction of a holocaust war will come true.  We have a very small window to stop this evil that is building in Iran.

Obama Signed Bill Penalizing Iran

Obama, while on his Christmas vacation in Hawaii, signed the bill congress had passed of tougher sanctions on Iran.  It was done on Saturday, but made more flexible with some waivers of penalties for certain groups.  This bill is to penalize Iran by having sanctions on anybody dealing with Iran's Central Bank because of their nuclear research which most likely is aimed to develop nuclear weapons.  Iran has constantly threatened both Israel and the USA.  In reaction to any meddling into their nuclear developments, Iran has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, but at the same time also put out comments that they are ready to talk about it.  Some feel that this is just a stall tactic while they continue.

They now have shown the world that they have created their own uranium fuel rods  and are using them in their power plants.  They have tested radar-evading medium-range missiles already while having a 10 day  Gulf exercise.  What they call long distance we call medium.  On Sunday and Monday they tested missiles with a range of 200 km. or 124.27 miles, called the Mehrab ( Altar) and Nour. Ghader (Capable) , a ground to sea missile was fired on Monday.  Earlier ranges of their missiles was 124 miles and they could travel at low altitudes.   In a few days they will test some long-range missiles in another drill, ranges that will be able to reach Israel and US bases in the Middle East.  They hope to scare the European Union from joining the sanctions. 

1/3 of sea oil trade goes through the Strait of Hormuz.  This means that from 13 to 15 supertankers sail every day to Japan, South Korea, India and China.  If they close the Strait they will also be hurting themselves. 

Iran is the 4th biggest producer of crude oil in the world  60% of their economy comes from this money.  Already their food prices have jumped 40%.  Right now $1.00 equals 17,000 reals which has weakened by 11%.  They are buying up dollars as the reals are becoming worthless.  President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's economic and foreign policies are blamed for this as they have faced increasing isolation. 

 Shain Sodden Hossein, Economy Minister of Iran, and Iran’s navy chief Adm. Habibollah Sayyari reported that the Straits of Hormuz is completely in their control.  Supposedly it is international waters.  Their exercize ends Tuesday.  Ghader, just tested, is said to be able to destroy war ships.  Rear Adm. Mahmoud Mousavi, a spokesman for the drill, said Ghader is an upgraded version. 

The distance between Tehran, Iran and Jerusalem, Israel is 967 miles or 1556 km.  I think Israel is still safe from this attack.  However, the distance from Iran to Qatar is 254 miles or 408 km.  This is where the USA has a naval base.  Unless their "long range missiles" really have the capabilities of our long range missiles, both places are safe for now.  At least it cannot be said that every possible measure hasn't been taken before force, which is still on the table, isn't taken. 

1/6/12: Debka said the exercise was to show that Shahab 3 ballistic missile has the range of 1,600 km.  That far a range could hit Israel if this is possible.  Or, from central Iran they could hit Hormuz Strait, therefore threatening any ships.

Nuclear Threats Bubble Up From Iran While Dabbling with Nuclear Arms Program

The biggest threat today for Americans, and especially for Israel is the threat of a nuclear-armed Iran.  Iran has constantly threatened Israel's existence as well as all Jews in the past few years.  Persia almost got away with it when Queen Esther lived so long ago by the evil doings of Haman, and now we have Ahmadinejad in just about the same role and mind-set.  The beautiful Jewish Queen Esther didn't sit around pondering what to do:  she came clean and told her husband, King Ahashueros that she was one of the Jews that Hamen wanted to kill, and so Hamen and his sons got it instead when all were hung.  At that time Persia wasn't a Muslim country, either.  Islam came into existence in the 600's CE.

 Persia must have been a nice place to live in in those days.  What has happened to it being "Iran" now is that the Muslim Brotherhood has gained a foothold which promotes the fullfillment of the Nazi regime in killing all Jews, especially those in Israel. After all, they can't abide having a Jewish state amongst all the Muslim ones, can they?

Obama said on November 30th that "we don't compromise when it comes to Israel's security."  He should have told the Defense Secretary, Leon Panetta what he would be saying, because Leon also made a speech to the Brookings Institute where he stated some demands on Israel.

1. Israel is to abstain from attacking Iran and rely on the USA in the following points.
   a.  USA only will negotiate with the Palestinians
   b. USA will reach out to Egypt, Turkey and Jordan
2. Israel is to pursue only the goals shared with the USA

This reads like the Israeli opposition platform, unfortunately.  Panetta gives mixed messages, depending on whom he is addressing.  He told a Washington forum that the biggest threat to security and prosperity of the Middle East is nuclear-armed Iran. He also said that Obama has not ruled out using military force. 

What Panetta is afraid of if Israel goes it alone is that Iran will retaliate against the USA, who is the big Satan in their book while Israel is the little Satan.  Israel was successful back in the 1980's of destroying  Iraq's Osirak Nuclear Research Facility when negotiations didn't work out.  They flew over and bombed it and returned to cheering in Israel but condemnation from the rest of the world.  Later, in the Persian Gulf War, they received praise for having done this after finding out about the stockpile of ammunition that Iraq had squirrelled away. (I wrote about it in the week of June 14, 1981 in my book.  While at my teacher's home, a neighbor came over to tell us about Israel bombing the Iraq atomic plant which was a surprise to us all.  My comment was that France shouldn't have supplied Iraq with such deadly things.  We stayed for dinner and discussed it.)
One bland force that has kept Iran back from its timetable has been the computer virus called "Stuxnet" that keeps plaguing them.  Israel has been blamed for that deed, but there is no proof.  It could easily also have been the USA.  We have great computer experts in both countries who could have come up with it.  It's a great way to slow up their efforts without shedding any blood.  November 14th of this year told of the Duqu supervirus that also hit their program.  I hope it continues to plague them. 

 If the USA tries to blockade Iran's Strait of Hormuz and cause an embargo, Iran will force oil prices to soar to $250 a barrel.  It looks like Iran has the USA and Israel in a vise. 

In the meantime, we have Howard Gutman, our US Ambassador to Belgium, taking the Chutzpa cake.  He had the gall to tell Jews at a meeting that it was their fault that Muslims are anti-semitic and violent towards them.  David Harris, head of AJC wrote him a letter afterwards telling him a thing or two about the relationship between Islam and Jews.  Good grief, where have these people been living?  Better yet, what do they spend their time reading?  Or, just what TV news channels do they watch to get such weird ideas? 

What could be called "famous last words" are Muslim advisors who tell us that Iran would never hit Israel with nuclear arms.  After all, they would also kill Arab Muslims as well.  I don't think that would bother them at all.  Weighing their goal against  lives would be nothing for them.  For us it would be, but they follow a different path of reasoning. 

Did the USA have any idea that Pearl Harbor would be bombed by the Japanese?    Germany in WWII wasn't going to invade Europe, either and many believed that to be true.  It was the Prime Minister of England, Neville Chamberlain who spoke of peace in our time on September 30, 1938 and said it " in his speech concerning the Munich Agreement and the Anglo-German Declaration.  The phrase echoed Benjamin Disraeli, who upon returning from the Congress of Berlin in 1878 stated "I have returned from Germany with peace in our time." It is primarily remembered for its ironic value, as the German occupation of the Sudetenland began on the following day.  So promises really aren't worth their weight if the conditions show differently.

Who Cares What Iran Can Hit?

Iran is now capable of hitting anyone within its 1,500 mile radius with chemical or biological ballistic missiles, and will soon be capable to hit with nuclear ones. This includes Russia, Israel, Lebanon, our energy sources and of course, our U.S. troops. (See Map below.) All the Arab , Greece, and the Ukraine. Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece are also in its range as well as the west coast of China. Everyone will be devestated with this weapon in the hands of the heads of Iran, not only just Israel.
