Why Some American Jews Are Balking at Netanyahu's Visit to Congress

Nadene Goldfoot

Netanyahu speaking at UN explaining need to stop development of uranium in Iran
The Jewish Democrat Senators are divided down the middle into staying to listen to Netanyahu speak on March 3rd about Iran and nuclear power.  Out of 27 Jewish Senators, 13 say they will attend and 14 will not attend.  We only have one Jewish Republican Senator and he plans to attend, making it 14 to 14.  Those not attending are staunch followers of the Democratic President Obama and take their cue from his behavior.  What makes Jews so divided over such as thing as listening to the Prime Minister of Israel?  Why is it that Jews have been followers of Obama when he shows a change of attitude towards Israel from what other previous Presidents have shown?

Many American Jews, about 35%,  belong to the Reform Jewish movement.  They in turn, probably  have become Democrats.  The reform movement in Judaism  historically started in the 19th century in Germany. Over time, it has given rise to a set of Jewish beliefs and practices separate from Orthodox Judaism.   Synchronistically, Judaism came to an end in Germany with hideous torture and gas chambers in the 20th Century with the Holocaust that wiped out 6 million Jews of Europe with intentions to go onto all parts of the world to do the same thing.  The Holocaust brought out sadism in certain Europeans and loss of belief in G-d in many Jews.

Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Jews share a culture and its foods
All Jews have had in common the acceptance of only one G-d, but today even many Jews say they are atheists.  From results in a 2003 poll, 79% of Americans believe in G-d but only 48% of the Jews do today.  This could be from the affects of the Holocaust and the affects of science, something many Jews have as their profession.  Jews are found to have a very high intellect, being a few points higher in IQ than the general population.  1/5 of Nobel prizes are earned by Jews who make up only 1/2 of 1% of the world population.  Such minds are more questioning than most people, I find.    For some Jews, being Jewish is more about culture than religion these days.  The last thing they have kept is the food.   Intermarriage has a great deal to do with this.  Some have settled on Reform as an inbetween way of keeping religious.

As a result, many who would decide to belong to a synagogue would find themselves more comfortable in a Reform Synagogue .   We find that 90% of American Jews are Ashkenazi and make up 1.7% to 2.6% of the American population.  In 1932, when Nazis were just getting going in Germany, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Democrat,  was president in the USA for 4 terms, voted in by 85% to 90% of the Jewish vote.

The reason  that many Jews go for Reform Judaism is that it cuts out more of the Hebrew prayers and does more in English. It is considered more modern.  The central tenet of the Reform movement is to deny that the Torah is the authentic word of G-d and to reject the historical reality of the Sinaic revelation.  They view both the Oral and Written laws of Judaism as a product of human hands, not divinely given to Moses.  They also feel that the Torah is a reflection of the time over 3,000 years ago since Moses (1391 BCE- 1271 BCE) was said to have written them all as the 5 Books of Moses,  and have lost their binding force on us.  It reflects only the historical development of Judaism which is subject to change based upon contemporary moral and doesn't represent a G-d-given truth for all time.  In other words, they reject the Torah as the eternal word of the living G-d of Israel.  Historically the Reform movement was very anti-Zionist.

Update: 2/15/15..The Reform Movement rejected the Balfour Declaration and wanted everyone to know that.  In 1885 they signed a paper saying that they didn't consider themselves any longer as a nation, but just as a religious community and didn't expect a return to Palestine or the restoration of any of the laws concerning the Jewish state.  With the Balfour Doctrine, the Reform didn't like the declaration that Palestine shall be the national homeland for the Jew.  They weren't about to move there.  Contemporary Reform Jewish leaders are today every bit as Zionistic as their Orthodox brethren.  In fact, we do have extreme Orthodox groups as much against living in Israel as the Reform had once been.  (The Jewish Press, January 30, 2015, page 28-29 by Saul Singer.

Before 1980, the Reform synagogues went back to accepting more of what Conservative Judaism does and accepts, and they became far more supportive of Israel.  Rabbi Rose in Portland was a good example.  He even helped to train and educate those interested in Israeli advocacy.  He held debates with Arabs in Portland, and once did lose his cool, just as Moses did once, whereas Rabbi Rose walked off the stage in the middle of a debate, finding his opponent unreasonable.  I was a first hand witness to that and would have done the same thing.  He could not logically debate this person .

Moses with 10 Commandments

So when it comes to Israel, we have a dilemma.  We know that historically, Judea and Samaria were our land in the beginning.  Orthodoxy takes the Torah seriously in that G-d told us this was where we were to live.  Joshua led us into Canaan since Moses died at age 120 and was not allowed into the land due to losing his temper earlier, anyway.  The ancestors of Jacob's 12 sons were given their allotted land by Joshua.  Today the Palestinians are demanding our ancient land as theirs for their state without accepting the fact that there is a Jewish state now, and has been for the past 66 years.  The Labor party of Israel (Leftist) want to cede the land to them again, something we have already tried and failed with Ehud Barak, Yitzak Rabin and Shimon Peres ,  while Likud, Netanyahu's party, says no.  They stand on international law proving that the land after 1967s war belongs rightly to Israel being it didn't belong to Jordan who had just helped themselves to it with England's looking the other way in 1948.

Rabbi Rashi (1040-1105), the great French/German commentator of the bible who I happen to carry a few segments of genes, had a father, Rabbi Isaac,  who said that the main purpose of the Torah was to teach the mitzvot or good deeds and ways of living civilly in this world by starting with the first mitzvah in the Torah, blessing the New Moon in Exodus 12:11.  It begins with Genesis because...and this is very important...Because if the nations of the world should say to Israel, YOU ARE ROBBERS BECAUSE YOU HAVE SEIZED BY FORCE THE LANDS OF THE 7 NATIONS, CANAAN;   ISRAEL SHOULD SAY TO THEM, THE ENTIRE WORLD BELONGS TO GOD, HE CREATED IT AND GAVE IT TO WHOMEVER IT WAS RIGHT IN HIS EYES.  OF HIS OWN WILL HE GAVE IT TO THEM, CANAAN,  AND OF HIS OWN WILL HE TOOK IT FROM THEM AND GAVE IT TO THE JEWS.

How amazing!   That day has come when the world demands that we are to allow against our will that this land is to go to the Palestinian Arabs who, by the way, never existed as a people throughout the entirety of human history.  Livni and Hertzog of Israel from the Labor party are some of those ready to give it up.  You will not find the Palestinians mentioned anywhere in the Torah or in the rest of the "Old Testament" we call the Tanakh.  They are people from Syria and other surrounding lands.

Menorah in front of Knesset in Jerusalem, Israel's capital

The Democratic 2012 platform "Omits support for Jerusalem as capital of Israel. The 2008 Democratic platform advocated the controversial and inflammatory position that “Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel.” That is still Mitt Romney’s position, but the 2012 platform has excised that section completely, much to the chagrin of Israel hawks. (The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin has already labeled it “the most radically unsupportive statement of policy on Israel by any major party since the founding of the state of Israel.”)"

Rabin, Clinton and Arafat win Nobel Prize for Peace-it didn't take...

As a reminder, we had 2 prime ministers, Ehud Barak and Yitzak Rabin in the Oslo Agreement from the Labor party before ready to give almost every part of Israel up to the Palestinians except their own bedrooms and beds and still the Arabs were not about to make peace.  It did no good except to make the Jews look weak.  What miracle has happened today, I wonder, that would change their minds?  They have become more adamant and demanding.  That's how they are getting what they want.  Israel is building in these areas and the Labor party is against it, wanting to wait another 66 years, I imagine to build on land legally Israel's no matter what weak arguments they come up with.

Henry Kissinger is for Netanyahu's speaking to the Senators.  So is Elie Wiesal.  Giullani, former NY city mayor is for his speaking.

Now, that last argument I've heard from Americans is that they hate Netanyahu because of his father.  His father hasn't been mentioned in the news or in politics, so this is a pretty weak excuse for hating Netanyahu, a hatred I'm afraid, coming from radical  anti-Semitism of the left.  It happens that his father, Benzion Netanyahu, was born 2 years after my father in 1910 but in Warsaw, Poland, scene of the Warsaw Ghetto where Jews were tortured, starved to death and shot.  He was an Israeli scholar of Judaic history and was an activist in a Zionist movement who lobbied in the USA for the creation of the Jewish state; and he couldn't have foreseen what was going to happen to his birthplace.  His father, Nathan Mileikowsky, was a rabbi who also toured  Europe and the USA in support of Zionism.  Rabbi Nathan made aliyah in 1920 and changed their surname to Netanyahu.

Benjamin or Bibi, as we know him, was one of three sons.  Yonatan was born in 1946 and died in 1976, a commander of Sayeret matkal, and was killed in action leading Operation Entebbe.  Our Prime Minister, Benjamin, was born in 1948, and his young brother Iddo was born in 1952 and is a physician, author and playwright.  Their father, Benzion, died in 2012 in Jerusalem  at the age of 102.  He was a good man.

Therefore, Jews in the USA have had it easy.  So easy, as a matter of fact compared with past history, that they are letting loose the religion of their fathers in the form of a more liberal Judaism and a liberal political position as Democrats, even though their charter is not keeping the promises of the presidents before Obama about Israel.  The Democrats in their political meeting in 2008  had eliminated the word God from their party platform.  .

Jews of Israel are the product of people fleeing to Israel in order to continue living, and have been accosted with wars and giving their energy to the service of the IDF in order to maintain their lives. Sephardic and Mizrachi Jews are a little over half of the Jewish population.   They may be agnostic or religious, but all are very nationalistic.  They have no other choices.  They are maintaining the ethics of Judaism which is where American  Democracy  found their values.

It was Harry S. Truman, Democratic president, who was for Israel becoming a state and voted for it in 1948.   The last Democratic meeting in the USA changed their charter and left out the points about backing Israel.  This is another reason for needing Israel.  One cannot depend on a country's backing.  Throughout history, countries have invited Jews to live there and then in a few years would exile them.  We've been waiting patiently for 2,000 years and have our state once again.

Netanyahu's Next Move To Protect Israel

Nadene Goldfoot

Palestinians  of Fatah-Hamas Government: Ismail Haniyah of Hamas in front
Hamas is a terrorist organization..  Palestine is to have no Jews in it, just like Saudi Arabia.
Area C and Ariel

Evidently the USA in no longer regarding the Oslo Accords as having any merit, for they are allowing the Palestinians, in planning their Palestine, to have a terrorist led government.  Area A was to be exclusively Arab, no Jews.  Area B was to be all Arab.  Area C was to have "full Israeli civil and security control" and the plan was for Israel to withdraw from 13% of it, but they only were able to withdraw from 2% and the actions of the Arabs caused them to perform Operation Defensive Shield, meaning the Arabs had attacked more than could be tolerated which showed no peaceful intent.  Hamas really brought this on themselves.  Israel retains 61% of Judea-Samaria.  The Palestinians also have Gaza as part of their state which has 141 square miles.

Area C in Judea-Samaria, scene of Israel's ancient history of Israel and Judah found in the Bible ,  is now threatened by the USA being first to recognize an unsettled Palestine with a Fatah-Hamas government patterned after Lebanon's that will not have any Jews living in it.  Area C was allowed to have Jews in the Oslo Accords.  It amounts to 375,000 Jews who live there as of  2013, probably a few more today.  The city of Ariel is the capital of  this Judea-Samaria district. The 3 other cities are Betar Illit, Ma'ale Adumim and Modi'in Illit that house Jews.   When the Assyrians attacked Israel in 720 BCE, the northern Kingdom fell and was renamed Shomron (Samaria).  Judah was created after King Solomon had died in 920 BCE and his son, Rehoboam,  became king.  At the time of 722 BCE, Ahaz was king.  The area of the Judea and Samaria district covers only 2,270 square miles which is but a portion of the ancient lands of Judah and Samaria.

                                               Ariel
"In July 2012, a government-commissioned report by the Levy committee asserted, based on a number of reasons, that there is no legal basis under international law to refer to Judea and Samaria as "occupied territory". Article 43 of the Fourth Hague Convention of 1907 is the basis of the Levy Committee's opinion. Its opinion may be found on the Internet with an English translation"  "The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law,"  They call them "occupied territories."  Israel calls them "disputed territories."

Obama  just settled the dispute by recognizing them as  Palestine, state for the "Palestinian" Arabs, recent immigrants who left their homes at the creation of Israel and instead of returning when the fighting was over, remained in refugee camps where most remain today, taken care of by the UN.

Israel was willing to go along with a 2-state solution, not wanting to change the nature of Israel as a Zionist state, refuge for Jews who were suffering from anti-Semitism, but can't accept a terrorist state bent on their destruction.  Kerry didn't manage to change their minds about that, which was understood being they refuse to change their charter of Hamas nor their goal to destroy Israel lying in their hearts.

There must be an international law that a state cannot be created that has a terrorist government intent on destroying its neighbor.  This is what the UN was created for, to keep such things from happening.  The UN is not living up to its original charter.  It's not all over yet.  So far the USA was the first to recognize this state and we haven't heard from the Western states as yet.

First off, the PA violated the Oslo Accords by taking unilateral action and applying for membership in 15 different international organization for statehood.  This went against the peace process and caused the halt to it, yet Kerry blames Israel.   To top that off, the USA has hurried to be the first country to recognize a state of Palestine, a Palestine that will have a ruling government of Hamas terrorists just like Lebanon's Hezbollah government plan.

Israeli MK Bennett came up with an idea that Israel should have sovereignty over Area C of Judea and Samaria back in 2010, but the USA crushed that idea quickly.  Now, with the threat of having an honest to goodness terrorist state in their back yard, Netanyahu has to come up with a plan B as to what to do.  He threw out the idea of the need to separate from the Palestinians, which is going to be some trick being they are so close.  They did this once in Gaza and it was a complete mistake.  A poll was taken and 60% of Jews opposed a unilateral withdrawal from the area.  20% of Israel's citizens are Arabs and 2/3 of them support withdrawal.

What is the USA suggesting now that they have  started the wartime atmosphere, something not expected in a peace process?  They have the wait and see attitude like they had with Syria and Ukraine.  Before recognizing Palestine they failed to get any written guarantees about peaceful behaviors from the Palestinians who are still dropping rockets on southern Israel.  In fact it just happened today again and a rocket was shot into southern Israel, the 108th since the first of 2014.  .  Now, Israel can expect more terrorism to come from Judea and Samaria on the east side as well and continued shelling from the west from Gaza.  Well, they said that they'll be watching all of that very carefully to ensure that that doesn't happen.  Watching doesn't stop anything.  It's been going on since 2001 from Gaza already and I haven't seen anyone try to stop the terrorists except Israel.  So now they'll do the same thing and watch some more.  USA is not about to get involved.  They'll following the adage, "We don't mix in."

Isn't this all prophesied in the Bible?  Some great big blowout is expected to happen against Israel.  I think John Kerry and Obama are not wasting any time getting the bombfire lit.

Obama Decision Not Taken Lightly by Israel

Nadene Goldfoot

Backing Morsi as President of Egypt was another wrongful decision of Obama's.  It didn't go well with Egypt at all who ousted him in about 6 months after realizing the results of this decision.

Dore Gold, past Israeli ambassador to the USA must be very disappointed with the Obama government since he commented that any international move that legitimizes Hamas is a dangerous mistake.  That's just what has happened with the USA falling head over heels in its rush to recognize the legitimacy of a Palestine with a government made up of a united Fatah and Hamas terrorists with a charter bent on destroying its neighbor, Israel.  Dore is also a foreign policy adviser to Netanyahu, who must also be extremely disappointed in their "friend," the USA. " Some friend," he must be thinking right now.

Ron Dermer, Israel's ambassador to Washington commented on his facebook page that "Israel is deeply disappointed" by the US decision to pursue "business as usual" with the Palestinians.  From Israel came the comment that America's position is a "slap in the face."  Congress members agree and 2 Republican senators called on the administration to reconsider aid immediately.

Netanyahu is asking other nations to not recognize this unified government.  He said he is "deeply troubled" by this decision of the USA.  "All those who genuinely seek peace must reject President Abbas's embrace of Hamas, and most especially, I think the USA must make it absolutely clear to the Palestinian president Abbas that his pact with Hamas, a terrorist organization that seeks Israel's liquidation, is simply unacceptable." he implored.  Yes, but I ask how Obama can retract what he has decided and be believable.  He is so two-faced already.  He's had all the time in the world to realize that Hamas is USA stamped as a terrorist group and here he has gone ahead and ignored the meaning of terrorist.

A terrorist group is not just a private fighting force following gentlemanly international rules of fighting another army group.  They terrorize citizens, mothers and fathers and children and do horrendous things to these people.  They slit their throats and stab and kill and blow their bodies up.  Their acts are  inhuman.  They do barbaric acts to Jews.  The shoot-out at the OKCorral is sweet compared to what the Jews have met from them.

The Obama administration is trying to mend their bridges with Israel over this decision, but there's no way they can mend my heart with such a move.  Netanyahu is more politically minded than me, so I wonder how he'll react to all this.  To me Obama is trying to have his cake and eat it, too.  What the USA has said is that they are now going to recognize the new Palestine government and fund them as well with my tax money!  They think they deserve a chance to succeed.

When Obama says this, a chance to succeed, I wonder, to succeed at what?   Their main goal has been to bring down Israel.  That I don't want them to succeed.  They have had oodles of money from sympathetic nearby governments which they have wasted, making many of them, at least in Gaza, millionaires as accounts have written about.  What makes Obama's government think they will be successful when they are telling the world that now they will really be in the position to destroy Israel?  Are we living an Alice in Wonderland mindset?

Israeli officials have nothing but harsh criticism for this turncoat decision. Marie Harf from the state department thinks that the new government didn't include any radicals against Israel.  Ha!  Ismail Haniya, Prime Minister of the Hamas government, is adamant about destroying Israel and he's in the government and already making speeches about his goals.  Is Marie asleep?

Marie said that the Obama government will now be judging the new government by their actions.  Lady, look at what the actions have been. Mortars, missiles and rockets have been streaming down at southern Israel since 2001.  They are still actively doing such bombardments.  It's just that Israel has had to come up with a lot of defensive moves against it like bomb shelters.  I would just love to have you live in Sderot for a year under such conditions to see what those people have to live with, and now you've given them the green light to make it easier to kill Israelis.  What kind of actions do you think is going to happen.  Do you think that suddenly the Palestinians are going to be good neighbors without any preliminary change of heart simply because they have their state?

The disappointing thing is that these Arabs didn't come from a former state that they are trying to rebuild nor were they a people once upon a time.  They are an assortment of Arabs who were fairly nomadic and had entered Palestine such as it was; empty land where they could either put their tent up or create a mud brick  house without much static from any government and were mostly just squatters living on the land.  They met up with a few Muslims living there already who, we now find, some had once been Jews and had become Muslims and owned their acreage.  They only decided they wanted their own state after the 1967 War when the surrounding states urged them to do so after terrorizing Israelis didn't do the job of driving them all into the sea.  They've lived the last 100 years being brain-washed against Jews and against the idea of a Jewish state and have been the pawns used as weapons against Israel.  And now the Obama government thinks that overnight they will be peaceful neighbors.

Peace Talks Amounted to Blackmail and Bribery: March 31st Deadline Missed

Nadene Goldfoot

                                                     Mahmoud Abbas
Abbas, head of the PA Arabs, has to be bribed to sit and talk with Netanyahu and his contingent about peace.  The Arabs have insisted that they will not sit unless 104 Arab criminals, most serving life sentences for murder,  were released from Israeli prisons.  The Israelis have complied, because peace is their goal, by already releasing 78,  but this has brought on much hand-wringing as the criminals were killers, responsible for many horrible crimes.  To release them was almost like a future death  knoll for other Israelis to be facing.  That was asking a lot.  Left to be released of this Arab-preferred group are 26 more.  Most all have served 20 years already.

Alan Dershowitz, an American lawyer, had occasion to advise Obama to at least throw in Pollard's release for the Israelis in order to get Israel to go ahead and finish by freeing the 26 left. " One of the 26 had murdered a Holocaust survivor who immigrated to Israel after his family died in the Nazi death camps.

Pollard is an American Jew who is in prison for being a spy for Israel, though Israel didn't hire him.  It was something he had in his own sites to do for Israel, who presumably was a friend of the USA anyway.

John Kerry, US Secretary of State, was just in Israel and spoke with Netanyahu without talking to Abbas.  He's now in Brussels but may speak with him on his way back.

Pollard is eligible to be  released in November 2015 after serving 30 years of a life sentence.  Is is really a balanced trade to use Pollard as a bargaining chip versus 26 killers?  To wave Pollard's freedom in front of Netanyahu to extend the talks ,  that are going nowhere is not worth the act of freeing terrorists.  It only is causing  the Israeli public to be horrified since there is no assurance that once the criminals are freed that the PA will continue to sit since they seem to need a carrot dangling constantly.  Already there is talk of an unofficial building freeze in Judea and Samaria in exchange for Pollard.  We don't know who is talking about it, the PA, Kerry or Israel.  It may be the next carrot to dangle in front of the Arabs to sit still and listen and talk in a conversation about peace, at least.

Senior PA leader Nabil Shaath was heard to say that "due to the prisoners we haven't stopped negotiations. We blackmailed  Israel to release the prisoners." One of the prisoners is Abu-Musa Salam Ali Atia, a Gaza resident and member of Fatah who was convicted of murdering Holocaust survivor Isaac Rotenburg as part of an initiation into a Palestinian terror group.  Rotenburg was working in 1994 when he was attacked by 2 Palestinians laborers with axes.

They are saying that they threatened to have Israel prosecuted at the International Criminal Court.  What they want them prosecuted about doesn't matter.  The UN holds Israel up to much higher standards than any other country in the world.  All they do is berate Israel in their meetings in the Human Rights Council, so they can make up any story and others will buy into it.  The PA already has the membership in the UN they were seeking so have the power to do so.  Nabil Shaath has said now that they are just waiting for the prisoners to be released before they stop the negotiations.  This tells us that the current round of peace talks might have just been a game-a charade with them.

Now in many countries, such murderers that Israel has in their prisons would have been shot in about 3 days after being picked up.  However, Israel doesn't have the death sentence.  So now they have become a bargaining chip.  So much for being moralistic and doing away with a death sentence.  Right now haggling over the release of this last 4th batch is going on since they all missed the Saturday, March 31st deadline set by Kerry.  "Netanyahu said that Israel would not make a deal to free the prisoners "without a clear benefit for Israel in return."  Evidently that's why Kerry is using Pollard as bait.

"An Israeli official said that the Palestinians also did not live up to their commitments under the framework, including to engage in serious and good faith negotiations."  As I have said before, I do not not believe that the PA has peace as a goal.  They're just going along with the charter that Hamas has, but attacks in their won way against Israel with the same goal to destroy Israel.  They don't want to start from scratch to create a state they can't administer anyway.  It's much easier to take over Israel and use it until it falls apart, such as the land was when Jews returned to it.

To make matters even more convoluted, the PA is now demanding the release of 14 Israeli Arabs. .  "The Israeli government has so far refused to consider freeing Israeli citizens convicted of terrorist acts."  There is confusing information from a radio report that Israel would free 400 prisoners if they were to remain in Judea-Samaria, but Netanyahu's office is nixing that idea.  Rumors.  Innuendos.  Not facts.

Israeli citizens that are victims of terror have demonstrated already and are blaming the USA.

They feel that Kerry has an agenda that is promoting peace in the Middle East and in order to carry it out has somehow pressured or even blackmailed the PM of Israel into releasing terrorists,  said Yossi Zur, spokesperson for the victims as he talked to the Washington Free Beacon.  The US officials have emphasized over and over that they want negotiations without preconditions, but they finally gave in and surrendered to this precondition of releasing terrorists.  One wonders what it would take to release the Boston terrorist who attacked the Boston marathon?  Multiply him by 104 and under what conditions would the USA free them all?  Would there be a solid guarantee that it was worth it attached?

Update is that Pollard was to be freed if Israel freed 400 more prisoners;  one for 400.  Johanathan was a mentch in that he himself  is not going for it.  He waived his parole hearing to oppose the deal.  "The proposed deal was also sharply criticized by Judea and Samaria's Yesha Council as being a "disgraceful" case of "Arab blackmail and American bribery."

Netanyahu's Fantastic Offer to Arabs Will Be Squashed and Why

Nadene Goldfoot

The New York Times reporters, Mark Landler and Jodi Rudoren reported on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to the American Israel Public Affairs committee.( AIPAC) yesterday.

Netanyahu  gave a pitch for peace with the Palestinians by saying that it would enable Israel to tighten ties with its Arab neighbors and "catapult the region forward" on issues like health, energy and education.  "We could better the lives of hundred of millions,"  he said.  "We all have so much to gain from peace."

We know that Netanyahu and Israel want peace with their neighbors.  They've wanted it before Israel became a state in 1948.  They worked and planned to create Israel but at the same time to have peace with their neighbors.

He said that after his big meeting with Obama, where they discussed some very tough issues for Israel in this peace process.  Evidently he's trying to convince the Arabs what they would gain instead of the perpetual war, blood and guts and their stand to never ever accept Israel as a Jewish state. However, the Palestinian Arabs  follow the Muslim Brotherhood Creed on this which is to never have peace with Israel.

Netanyahu is also locking horns with Obama,  Kerry and the Arabs over Jews living in Judea and Samaria, which is land originally set aside as being part of the Jewish Homeland by the League of Nations in the 1920's.  The big world powers call them "Jewish settlements," and probably call Tel Aviv a settlement as well.  1967  was when Israel won back Judea and Samaria and east Jerusalem after being attacked by all the surrounding Arabs and then some more beyond the perimeter.  It has been 47 years, and Jews that moved there are still being hit with the "settlement" word.  They settled  long ago already in 1968, after the war was won with the latest established in 1984 except for one which was established in 1998-16 years ago.  In all, there are 321,179 Jews living in Judea-Samaria. Israel had stopped building for one whole year and the Palestinians didn't come around.  It was a waste of time.

Netanyahu praised Kerry as the man who never sleeps.  Kerry had warned Israel that they could be ostracized if they failed to make peace with the Palestinians but as far as we know has said absolutely nothing like that to the Arabs.  Kerry didn't make himself popular with that comment with Israel.  Besides that issue, he has shown that he sides with the Palestinians by making all sorts of incredible demands on Israel and nothing for the Arabs.

Obama wants the Palestinians and Israelis to sign a framework accord which Kerry is drafting and expects it to be signed by the end of April.  This is  evidently written out in general terms only about Israel's security and the borders of a future Palestinian state which is already a done deal in the UN as far as accepting a Palestine as an observer state.  It is to allow the 8 month old negotiations that have been going on with Kerry to be extended.  An unofficial statement from an official said that the agreement would have enough in it that was good for Israel.  That is the official's opinion, not Netanyahu's.  Like we say, "Is it good for the Jews"?  The answer for the past 8 months has been, "NO."

Obama is now taking over in the talks from Kerry.  He's meeting on March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, with Abbas to urge him to sign.

Netanyahu told Obama that they were pressing up against very tough issues for Israel.

Netanyahu also brought up the growing boycott movement that hits on Israel.  He said that "this links it to the darkest chapters of anti-Semitism in history. "   The Arabs and their siders took his comment as showing how well the boycott is working.  He's just disgusted by being singled out when so many other nations are doing so many destructive things in this world, such as Assad in Syria or the Ayatollah in Iran and the nuclear bombs they are creating.  Being singled out for something others find an excuse to fault Israel for is anti-Semitism, pure and simple.
We've had over 2,000 years of it and can spot it easily.  Israel has every legal right in the world to allow people to move into Judea and Samaria, but being Jews-are being given a bad time about it.  Legal, shmegal, the powers to be don't give a hoot evidently about legalities.  Jews, who believe in Judaism which has been faulted by other religions as being too full of laws that people don't need to follow, has international law on their side about living on the land, and THAT is now the worst evil of the century.  How about that for logic today?    So the Arabs are using boycotting as another form of their rockets, mortars and missiles that Hamas uses almost every day against the civilians of southern Israel, a teeny land of only 8,000 sq. miles.  Hit southern Israel and the wind from it hits the rest of Israel. So does the pain and anguish making its citizens more determined than ever not to be driven out of their country.  .

                                     Hezbolla terrorists fighting in Syria

Sorry, Syrians.  Abbas can kill as many of his 22,505,000 Syrian citizens as he wants.  ISRAEL is continuing to live and love and worship G-d in their own land and that's what's arousing the world to pounce on Israel instead of Assad.  What's good and what's bad today has taken a new direction.  What Netanyahu has  pitched to the Arabs is too logical.  That's not what their Palestinian charters  of the PA or Hamas or the Muslim Brotherhood stand for.  It's not what they want at all!  When someone convinces them to change their goals, then you can talk about peace.  The war ain't over till the fat lady sings and the fat lady ain't sung yet.

The Two- Faced Iran Complains About the Two- Faced Negotiations of Kerry

Nadene Goldfoot

1979, the Shah is overturned and the religious Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned.

Not too long ago, on June 20, 2009, there was a demonstration of the Iranian people who were aroused by the Arab Spring against their rulers, but that has been forgotten since their hard-line factions have seized more power. They were holding protests during their elections, and a beautiful Iranian girl was shot to death by the name of Neda Agha-Soltan, age 26.
Neda, a college student, was forced to quit school because of her dress and appearance of not covering her head and body.  That's why she attended the protest.  "She was shot in the heart by a Basij militia member who insisted he was not trying to kill her. Her death was captured on video by bystanders and broadcast over the Internet and the video became a rallying point for the opposition. It was described as "probably the most widely witnessed death in human history"

This time on Tuesday, millions of Iranians participated in rallies that the government backed which marked the 35th anniversary of the  Islamic revolution in 1979.  That was when on February 11th, Iranian religious revolutionaries declared victory over Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi who was backed by the USA.  Then the Shiite Muslim clerics came to power

The largest rally took place in their capital, Tehran,  where nuclear talks between Iran and and the USA and their allies were recalled, dominating the event.  They had posters and placards given out to the crowd which had slogans referring to John Kerry's recent remarks that, despite the discussions over the nuclear program, the military option remained on the table.   The placards therefore read, "We are eager for all options on the table."  Evidently they noticed a two-facedness from Kerry.  Young families pushing baby strollers were seen shouting, "Death to America!"  Other posters said, "We are ready for the great battle."  Other people called for the deaths of Obama and Kerry.

Back on the home front, Wendy Sherman, under secretary of state in the State Department  for political affairs,  conceded that the US failed to "shut down" Iran's working  on ballistic missiles.  These have long ranges and are the weapon to deliver a nuclear payload.  It's been 6 months of negotiating and they have to address this problem as part of a comprehensive agreement which will not be agreed on for at least another 6 months.  Tehran had a large window to perfect its weapons systems now.

The USA knows that Iran is going to launch 3 new satellites into space in the next few weeks.  This technology is like those used for ballistic missiles.  Leading experts are saying that Iran's space program is a cover for its ballistic missile work.  Iran's year ends on March 20th and they feel one of them will be launched by then.

Kerry and Wendy left all these problems unsolved.  They didn't address the delivery mechanism, the militarizing of nuclear arms.  Iran had breached a threshold everyone acknowledges and now they can build a bomb.  Senator Bob Corker, Republican from Tennessee, the committee's ranking member, asked them why this had happened.  Iran already has advanced centrifuges.  The situation had been left so that Iran is allowed to continue to perfect their nuclear delivery mechanism.  Few countries in the world possess both   the capability to enrich uranium to high levels and also have an advanced ballistic missile program.  Iran is now a nuclear power.  All they have to do now is to ramp up their uranium production.

Sherman said she is depending on the US to successfully convince Iran to give up its nuclear program.  In her opinion, Iran doesn't need to continue its work at Fordow or any need to the partially constructed heavy water reactor at Arak.  She has no doubt that Iran will have to scale back the number of nuclear centrifuges it is operating.  The question remains as to what will force them to do such a thing.  They are impervious to Kerry's suggestions.

Rouhani, the President of Iran, criticized the US threats against Iran already.  He said that if the negotiators respected Iran's rights, they would get a positive and appropriate answer from Iran, but he also warned that threats would only bring down the nuclear talks to a halt.  He didn't like the way they approached him in the past and doing so had put their nations, region and global welfare and stability in jeopardy.

The rally included re-enactments of scenes from the 1980s war between Iran and Iraq.  That war was so bad that children were serving as soldiers on both sides.

Remember when Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, warned the UN of how close Iran was in being able to make atomic weapons on September 27, 2012?   "Iran is 70 percent of the way there and ... well into the second stage," Netanyahu said while displaying the chart. "By next summer, at current enrichment rates, they will have finished the medium enrichment and moved on to the final stage. From there it is only a few more weeks before they have enriched enough for a bomb."  Everyone pooh-poohed him.  Now the window of opportunity is shut for Israel to halt their progress.  Kerry didn't comply with his warnings at all and now he can't call back the steps taken get Iran to the table to talk in the first place.  Everyone is just too eager to sell them their products being they have come into money.  What was working has been undone by the negotiators.

The Cuban missile crisis  happened when Russia and the USA were at odds.   "After the US had placed nuclear missiles in Turkey and Italy, aimed at Moscow, and the failed US attempt to overthrow the Cuban regime, in May 1962,  Nikita Khrushchev proposed the idea of placing Soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba to deter any future invasion attempt. During a meeting between Khrushchev and Fidel Castro that July, a secret agreement was reached and construction of several missile sites began in the late summer."  Luckily that was averted.

North and South Korea were going at each other just last year.   " It began because of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2087, which condemned North Korea for the launch of Kwangmyŏngsŏng-3 Unit 2. The crisis was marked by extreme escalation of rhetoric by the new North Korean administration under Kim Jong-un and actions suggesting imminent nuclear attacks against South Korea, Japan, and the United States.  North Korea denounced sanctions UNSC imposed under UNSC Resolution 2087. on the January 23 the government of North Korea announced the continuation of their tests not only devoted to missiles, but clearly with an effort to facilitate nuclear weapons purposes. Moreover, North Korea directly threatened the U.S., announcing that they could launch long-range missiles against that country.

Cuba and North Korea are enough to give the USA a headache as they are the opposite of such a Democratic country, but they are not in any way having a war of religion.  It's territory.  As with Iran, a Shiite country, this is a war of religions, and is much more serious.  Kerry doesn't seem to understand this.  Iran sees the end of the world coming and sees them in the power seat with the return of the 12th Iman.  It means to destroy Israel.  You can't put Iran in the same basket with Cuba and North Korea.  Netanyahu warned that you can't trust  Rouhani.  The negotiators did just that.

Conspiring with Hitler, Palestinian Authority Today Call Netanyahu a Nazi

Nadene Goldfoot

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem meeting with Hitler in Germany 1941 conspiring against the Jews

Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti above, met with Hitler  in 1941.  He had gone  before the Royal Commission in Britain on January 12, 1937.  Lord Peel spoke with him and said:  You want to completely stop Jewish immigration.  What do you want to do with the 400,000 Jews here at the present?  It was brought out by the Mufti that 700,000 dunams were sold to the Jews by Arab landowners.

Mufti answered:  They will live as they always did live previously in Arab countries, with freedom and liberty, as natives of the country.  In fact, Moslem rule has always been known for its tolerance, and as a matter of fact, Jews used to come to Eastern countries under Arab rule to escape persecution in Europe.  According to history, Jews had a most quiet and peaceful residence under Arab rule.  Mufti told Sir L. Hammond that the Arabs would be happier under Turkish "Ottoman rule"  than under the present mandatory rule.

The Truth:   Jews and Christians in Muslim countries were Dhimmis, 2nd-3rd  class people who had to pay a tax for living there.  They were subjugated under rules others did not have.  They were living under better conditions than Jews in Europe, that part was true, but were also attacked occasionally in pogroms.  An example was in 1941, the Jewish community in Bagdad was attacked by mobs causing 180 Jews to die.  This was at the start of WWII.

Note:  This 1937 meeting occurred at the beginning of Hitler's attacks on Jews.  England went along with his request and kept Jews out of entering "Palestine" which was the promised Jewish Homeland since 1920.  At the same time, they allowed many Arabs in from surrounding states.

The Balfour Declaration was issued on November 2, 1917 pledging support for the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.  An agreement was concluded on January 3, 1919 between King Hussein's son, Emir Feisal, chief Arab delegate at the Paris Peace conference. and Dr. Chaim Weizmann.  It was endorsed and Palestine recognized as a separate Jewish entity, with which the then imminent Arab State would maintain diplomatic relations on condition that Britain and France met Arab demands in other territories.  The British were highly ambivalent towards estabishing a Jewish national home.  Sometimes they allowed Jews into the country, but at the most serious time nearing WWII, kept them away.

That the Arabs were on the side of the Axis during WWII is a known fact.  Hitler's goal during that war was to exterminate all Jews in the world and managed to slaughter 6 million of the Jews of Europe.  The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was very jealous of Abdullah of Transjordan who was able to create a state out of the Ottoman Empire through the mandate held by Britain.  England took 80% of land promised to the Jews by the League of Nations for a Jewish Homeland and gave it to Abdullah for his participation in fighting against the Ottomans during World War I.   The fact remains that Chaim Weizmann's  contribution to the British was his scientific endeavors to improve their ammunition which without this, they would have lost the war.  Jews also fought for England.

One of the methods used by the Arabs against Israel today is to take known facts and twist them around to put themselves in a better light.  Because so many of their people have been kept in an academic blackout, they believe all the propaganda their leaders feed to them.   "It has not been uncommon for the PA to accuse Israel of imitating Holocaust crimes or claim that Israel uses the Holocaust as a tool for political and financial gain.  At the same time they continue to show their admiration of Hitler.  The one thing they are in denial  of is that Arabs are Semites, same as Jews, and Hitler was creating the Aryan race, so they would have been next on the list of those unwanted people scheduled for the ovens as well.  They are behind all the BDS groups and call Israel an Apartheid State though it has 1.7 million Arab citizens,  which they are not in any form of definition Apartheid, yet they plan to have Palestine Judenrein, meaning that not one Jew will be allowed to live in their state, a truly Apartheid state.

My hope is that the rest of the world, though removed by 69 years from the end of WWII, have had more education and realize that Jews were the oppressed people of the Nazi party.  6 million were rounded up and killed unmercifully.  Israel was created for Jews after the first World War of 1914-1917 since they had fared terribly from anti-Semtic acts for the past 2,000 years since losing their capital, Jerusalem, to the invaders, the Romans.  They needed their own state.  That is why the League of Nations decided that their land, which had been part of the holdings of the Ottoman Empire for the past 400 years, was to be given back to the Jews.  It had lain fallow and the Ottomans had done nothing with it.  It was nothing but swamps or desert and weeds.  Arab nomads would ride through on camels, and that was about the most that happened with it.  It was merely a crossroads without an inn.  Jews lived there, but kept out of sight except in Jerusalem.  They were treated as all Jews in the Middle East, that of Dhimmis class.  In other words, they had been held down and not allowed to do anything of importance to the land due to their class.

Last week, International Holocaust Remembrance Day was observed.  Just a few days before this date, the PA (Palestinian  Authority led by Abbas) published an article demonizing  Netanyahu, Israel's Prime Minister.  They claimed that he has Nazi genes and uses racism, which is something Hitler was doing, against the Palestinians.  The PA are showing their lack of education.  One does not have "Nazi" genes and inherit a political agenda through their bloodline.  Given a DNA test, Netanyahu will show he has very Jewish genes, inherited from the time before Moses.  That's where environment comes in.  If your parents are Nazis, there's a huge chance that they will teach you to believe in their philosophy. Who is actually practicing racism are the PA who plan on their state having no Jews living there.  So for the PA to call Netanyahu a racist or having Nazi genes is ridiculous, but the sad thing is that their people will believe it and accept it as fact without any logical thinking.  I have no doubt of this for why would they say something as ridiculous as this in the first place other than embarrass themselves before the rest of the world population.

The information on the Palestinians, Arabs who call themselves this term, is huge.  Joan Peters wrote the national bestseller, "From Time Immemorial-the origins of the Arab-Jewish conflict over Palestine," which is something everyone should read before they comment on this group of people.  The pocket-book version has 412 pages and another 164 pages listing her references.  Joan was a Christian newspaper reporter on the Arab side of the conflict who decided to research her topic.  When she did, she found the truth about the whole conflict.  There had been no country called Palestine.  It was simply Middle East Land that had been Judah and Samaria, or Eretz Yisrael that was renamed by the Romans after they conquered it.  Arabs living there in 1920 when the League of Nations created the Jewish Homeland were nomadic, and a few owned land there.  Most sold their land to the Jews as it was terrible land and they preferred to take their sale money and move to places such as Paris or Beirut where there was life.  Only to the Jews was the land important.  Joan's book remains to be the most thoroughly researched and solidly documented work on the origins of the Arab-Jewish conflict.  She did massive research and had gone to the Ottoman records, the reports of Western consular officers and observant travelers and other sources.  It's a remarkable document in itself.  With determination, brilliant detective work and patience, Peters managed to unearth a foundation of facts, research and commitment to truth.  So the lady, who started by being on the Arab side of the conflict, did a 180 turn around and found herself on the Jewish side.  She has since been an adviser to presidents.  Her book gives us the proof that so called experts on the Palestinian issue speak from utter ignorance.  Millions of people the world over are smothered by false history and propaganda and that is exactly what the PA are again dredging up.

The reason for this charge of Netanyahu having "genetic" Nazi genes even though he is a Jew, and no Nazi would have ever had a Jew in their midst, is because he is explaining that it is most important for the Arabs to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. This is why the ratio of Jews to Arabs must be that Jews are the largest group.  It was not just any state coming into the UN.   The Muslims have 48 Muslim majority states already and Palestine would be the 49th.  Does anyone see India other than a Hindu state?  The Muslims living there finally have their own state of  Pakistan which is 97% Muslim with 172,800,000 Sunni and Shi'a.  It's an Islamic state.  The USA is a Christian majority country.  Jews were originally the Israelite tribe who are followers of Moses and the Mosaic Law, called Jews -from the tribe of Judah who were established c1300 BCE.

Jews have been here for the past c. 3,314 years and they are being attacked for being awarded their own state legally by all the nations except one group of people calling themselves Palestinians who want to turn it into their Muslim state?

To have one Jewish state as a refuge in the world is why Jews need this state of Israel in the first place.  Time has proved this need.  With the Holocaust proving that 6 million Jews were slaughtered from 1939-1945 as the most recent event, leaving 14 million alive today, the need is great.  The past has been such as being expelled from countries such as in the year 115 from Cyprus, 1290 from England, 1306 from France, 1355 from Spain.  From 1882 to 1890, 750,000 Jews living in Russia were forced to re-settle into the Pale of Settlement, which was Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Poland and  Ukraine, and were not allowed into Russia proper.  They were expelled from Moscow and St. Petersburg in 1891.  How about the massacres of 1096 in Europe, 1355 in Spain, 1420 from Toulouse, France, etc. Forced conversions were put upon Jews in 640, 721, and 873 in the Byzantine Empire.  Jews are tired of living at the whims of other political agendas and being the scapegoats of everyone's problems.  Though this is 2014, countries still behave like they did in 70 CE.
