Netanyahu's Next Move To Protect Israel

Nadene Goldfoot

Palestinians  of Fatah-Hamas Government: Ismail Haniyah of Hamas in front
Hamas is a terrorist organization..  Palestine is to have no Jews in it, just like Saudi Arabia.
Area C and Ariel

Evidently the USA in no longer regarding the Oslo Accords as having any merit, for they are allowing the Palestinians, in planning their Palestine, to have a terrorist led government.  Area A was to be exclusively Arab, no Jews.  Area B was to be all Arab.  Area C was to have "full Israeli civil and security control" and the plan was for Israel to withdraw from 13% of it, but they only were able to withdraw from 2% and the actions of the Arabs caused them to perform Operation Defensive Shield, meaning the Arabs had attacked more than could be tolerated which showed no peaceful intent.  Hamas really brought this on themselves.  Israel retains 61% of Judea-Samaria.  The Palestinians also have Gaza as part of their state which has 141 square miles.

Area C in Judea-Samaria, scene of Israel's ancient history of Israel and Judah found in the Bible ,  is now threatened by the USA being first to recognize an unsettled Palestine with a Fatah-Hamas government patterned after Lebanon's that will not have any Jews living in it.  Area C was allowed to have Jews in the Oslo Accords.  It amounts to 375,000 Jews who live there as of  2013, probably a few more today.  The city of Ariel is the capital of  this Judea-Samaria district. The 3 other cities are Betar Illit, Ma'ale Adumim and Modi'in Illit that house Jews.   When the Assyrians attacked Israel in 720 BCE, the northern Kingdom fell and was renamed Shomron (Samaria).  Judah was created after King Solomon had died in 920 BCE and his son, Rehoboam,  became king.  At the time of 722 BCE, Ahaz was king.  The area of the Judea and Samaria district covers only 2,270 square miles which is but a portion of the ancient lands of Judah and Samaria.

                                               Ariel
"In July 2012, a government-commissioned report by the Levy committee asserted, based on a number of reasons, that there is no legal basis under international law to refer to Judea and Samaria as "occupied territory". Article 43 of the Fourth Hague Convention of 1907 is the basis of the Levy Committee's opinion. Its opinion may be found on the Internet with an English translation"  "The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law,"  They call them "occupied territories."  Israel calls them "disputed territories."

Obama  just settled the dispute by recognizing them as  Palestine, state for the "Palestinian" Arabs, recent immigrants who left their homes at the creation of Israel and instead of returning when the fighting was over, remained in refugee camps where most remain today, taken care of by the UN.

Israel was willing to go along with a 2-state solution, not wanting to change the nature of Israel as a Zionist state, refuge for Jews who were suffering from anti-Semitism, but can't accept a terrorist state bent on their destruction.  Kerry didn't manage to change their minds about that, which was understood being they refuse to change their charter of Hamas nor their goal to destroy Israel lying in their hearts.

There must be an international law that a state cannot be created that has a terrorist government intent on destroying its neighbor.  This is what the UN was created for, to keep such things from happening.  The UN is not living up to its original charter.  It's not all over yet.  So far the USA was the first to recognize this state and we haven't heard from the Western states as yet.

First off, the PA violated the Oslo Accords by taking unilateral action and applying for membership in 15 different international organization for statehood.  This went against the peace process and caused the halt to it, yet Kerry blames Israel.   To top that off, the USA has hurried to be the first country to recognize a state of Palestine, a Palestine that will have a ruling government of Hamas terrorists just like Lebanon's Hezbollah government plan.

Israeli MK Bennett came up with an idea that Israel should have sovereignty over Area C of Judea and Samaria back in 2010, but the USA crushed that idea quickly.  Now, with the threat of having an honest to goodness terrorist state in their back yard, Netanyahu has to come up with a plan B as to what to do.  He threw out the idea of the need to separate from the Palestinians, which is going to be some trick being they are so close.  They did this once in Gaza and it was a complete mistake.  A poll was taken and 60% of Jews opposed a unilateral withdrawal from the area.  20% of Israel's citizens are Arabs and 2/3 of them support withdrawal.

What is the USA suggesting now that they have  started the wartime atmosphere, something not expected in a peace process?  They have the wait and see attitude like they had with Syria and Ukraine.  Before recognizing Palestine they failed to get any written guarantees about peaceful behaviors from the Palestinians who are still dropping rockets on southern Israel.  In fact it just happened today again and a rocket was shot into southern Israel, the 108th since the first of 2014.  .  Now, Israel can expect more terrorism to come from Judea and Samaria on the east side as well and continued shelling from the west from Gaza.  Well, they said that they'll be watching all of that very carefully to ensure that that doesn't happen.  Watching doesn't stop anything.  It's been going on since 2001 from Gaza already and I haven't seen anyone try to stop the terrorists except Israel.  So now they'll do the same thing and watch some more.  USA is not about to get involved.  They'll following the adage, "We don't mix in."

Isn't this all prophesied in the Bible?  Some great big blowout is expected to happen against Israel.  I think John Kerry and Obama are not wasting any time getting the bombfire lit.

Congress Questions Obama, Kerry Violating Law by Supporting Hamas Government

Hamas: Bullets and Bombs Are Music to Our Ears

Hamas Interior Minister Fathi Hammad urged members of Fatah to join jihad and told them that “this is no time to back down” from destroying Israel.

What Is Fatah and Hamas and Why is Peace Being Held Up By These Groups?

Nadene Goldfoot

Israel wants peace.  They haven't had a moment's peace since their inception on May 14, 1948.  They have made many concessions since  1948 in the name of peace.  One was exiting from Gaza and giving it to the Arabs exclusively; Judenrein, as the Arabs demanded.

What are terrorists?  Fatah and Hamas are terrorists.  Hamas is listed as a terrorist organization by US State Department.  Fatah works with radical Islamist terrorist groups in joint terrorist attacks.  Terrorism is defined as the systematic uses of terror, especially as a means of coercion.  To terrorize people is to fill them with terror or anxiety, to scare, to coerce by threat or violence.  Usually they prey on the helpless like the women and children, unarmed people who cannot fight back.  Palestinians have attacked schools, such as the one in Safed, the religious school in Jerusalem, etc.   Fatah and Hamas are only the 2 major ones.  There are others.

FATAH

Fatah was founded in 1959 by Yasser Arafat, 11 years after Israel was created.  Israel was attacked by the Arabs  in The War of Independence which started on November 29, 1947 when the Arabs responded with violence to the UN resolution on Palestine, and lasted until the signing of the Armistice Agreements in 1949. Units of Arab irregulars entered from Syria, Lebanon and Egypt to reinforce local Arabs in their attacks on Jewish localities and to help block the main roads.  When the birth was announced on May 14, 1948, Israel was invaded by the regular armies of Egypt, Transjordan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon and a Saudi-Arabian contingent.  It was announced that it would be a war of extermination and massacre.  At the time, Israel only had 650,000 Jews and had a poorly equipped army but was able to drive back the invading forces.  They drove out the Egyptian invaders by penetrating into the Sinai peninsula.  There were 6,000 Israelis killed; more than all the next wars added together.  In 1949, armistice agreements were signed between Israel and Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

Egypt's truce ended in war after 7 years, and with Jordan, Syria and Lebanon there was peace for 18 years but also ended in war.

The Sinai War when Arabs attacked Israel again started  October 29, 1956  until November 5, 1956.  Since Israel won again, perhaps that's why Fatah was created; another way to fight against Israel.

Yasser Arafat was born in Egypt. Joining with him in founding Fatah was Mahmood Abbas (Abu Mazen) and others.  Their ideology was that they were a revolutionary nationalist liberation group.  They took over the PLO in 1968 and is the PLO's largest faction.  They have had offshoot mititias.  Tanzim was founded in 1983 and is Fatah's military and operational wing.  Marwan Barghouti is their leader in Judea/Samaria and is   in an Israeli jail serving 5 life terms.  He was very bad.  The Al Aqsa martyrs Brigade was founded in 2000 after the 2nd Intifada.  Most Fatah operatives work in this brigade.

OSLO PROCESS CAME TO AN END SEPTEMBER 2000
Arafat returned from the Camp David negotiations where he turned the table upside down on President Clinton and this caused the Intifada to break out.  It was planned from this point.  (Imad Falouji, PA Communications Minister, March 3, 2001)

FROM SEPT 28, 2000-DEC 31, 2005
25,770 terrorist attacks on Israel
147 suicide bombings-caused 47% of all deaths
1,084 killed
7,454 injured
82% of dead and wounded were civilians (2000-2004).

What they do is guerrilla warfare, shoot  and bomb people and places.  They use rocket attacks and suicide attacks.
From 2003 to 2004 there were 214 terrorist attacks.
From 2000 to 2005 there were 33 suicide bombings.
From 2002 to 2005  they had a female suicide bomber on 1/27/02 and 5 female suicide bombers from 2002 to 2005.
In 2005 alone 47 suicide bombers were foiled and arrested.

Fatah has several militias including Force-17, During the middle of the 2nd Intifada, militias started coordinating with radical Islamist terrorist groups for joint terrorist attacks.  To this date, they have not made peace with Israel with the first step of accepting Israel as the Jewish state.

HAMAS

The more radical group is Hamas.  They  have received millions of dollars annually from Iran.  They are also funded by groups in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Western Europe, Hezbollah and others.  The Hamas leader, Khaled Maashal, lived in Damascus Syria, probably up to the time the Civil War started.  Hamas and Hezbollah signed an agreement in 2004 to increase attacks on Israel.

It started in 1987 and won PA Parliamentary elections in January 2006.  They kicked Fatah out of Gaza and took over with elections.  Sheikh Ahmed Yassin was a founder and leader from 1987 to 2004.  Khaled Mashal took over in 2004 and still is in command.  They are in Judea and Samaria and exclusively in Gaza.  Leaders also live and travel in Syria, Lebanon and Iran.

Their ideology comes from the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD ISLAMISTS.    They oppose the PLO, but at times have tried to team up with them.  Their saying is that "Israel will exist until Islam will obliterate it.  The only solution for the Palestinian question is Jihad, a HOLY WAR.  This is on their Hamas Charter.

What they do is shoot, bomb, attack Israel with rockets, mortars and missiles and use suicide missions.
From 1993 to 2000 there were 41 suicide bombings.
From 2000 to 2005 there were 58 suicide bombings.
From 2003 to 2004 there were 773 terrorist attacks.
In 2005, 29 suicide bombers were foiled and arrested.
From 2000 to 2005, 40% of all suicide bombers occurred. from Hamas.
From  September 2000 to April 2004., 377 Israelis were killed, 2,076 were wounded.

Hamas's broadcasted message to the Jews in February 2006 was:

"My message to the loathed Jews is that there is no God but Allah.  We will chase you everywhere!  We are a nation that drink blood, and we know that there is no blood better than the blood of Jews.  We will not leave you alone until we have quenched our thirst with your blood, and our children's thirst with your blood.

My message to them is that if they are monotheistic and believe in one G-d, and we are monotheistic and believe in one G-d, then surely we both recognize the same G-d because there is only one.  We are different though, right now as different as day is from night.  First of all, G-d told us not to ever, under any circumstances, consume any blood of any sort.  So we're not going to drink your blood.  We're going to protect our citizens from your terrorism, and it means that sometimes we may have to  go and stop your weapons from harming us.  We deplore your ways of hiding behind your women and children and putting them in harm's way.  It makes it harder for us to not take their lives, as that is not what we wish.  What we have is the right to be living in Israel, and we will defend that right with the help of G-d as it was He who told us to live there in the first place and you know that.  Yet you break G-d's wish and defy this.  It was Mohammad who called us the people of the Book, and it is written in that book that we are to live here.

For the past 65 years we have gone along with a two-state solution for our problems, but are not about to lose the rights we have already been given when you are not about to give us respect and show you are ready to be peaceful with us.  You have called "Wolf" once too many times.  The first thing we ask is that you recognize us as a Jewish state.  We intend to keep it that way, for this is something we need badly in this world, one state of ours that is our refuge.  This has been a 65 year religious war, and there are already 48 Muslim states without a Palestine and just Israel, the only Jewish state in this world.  You will need to tolerate a Jewish state in existence without drinking our blood.

This alone should keep us apart and under our own fig tree, for we don't mix with people who drink blood.  This leads to violence.  This is why many animals are not fed blood.  It causes them to revert from being tame to being wild.  We have a rule and have always tried to maintain this rule, and that is to NOT DO TO OTHERS WHAT WE DON'T WANT DONE TO US.  It's the Golden Rule.  It's a good rule to keep the peace.

Jews have been tested.  There are so many horrible things that have been done to us ever since Moses brought us the Torah.  We still have not changed our charter with G-d.  It remains engraved upon our hearts.  Can you say the same about what Mohammad brought to you?

Norwegians, Swedes and Why Their Attitudes Have Worsened Toward Jews

Nadene Goldfoot
My maternal grandmother, Augusta Johansson-Gustafson, was born in Sweden in 1870 and came to the states when she was 18 years old in 1888.  She always said, "Oh, those Norwegians!".    I never knew why she didn't respect them.  Now our family has members from both countries.  We follow our father's religion, Judaism,  and it's discouraging to see the change in attitude in these two countries from the time of World War II.
Norway
Before the 19th Century, Jews couldn't even enter Norway without a "Letter of Protection," because the Danish limited the amount of Jews entering the country.  In 1840 this changed when a poet, Henrik Wergelang, argued for Jews to be allowed to enter and got the Parliament to agree.  650 Jews were admitted by 1891 when emancipation took place.  They lived in Oslo and Trondheim.  By 1920 there was a whopping 1,456 Jews in Norway.  In 1940 Norway was invaded by Germany and found 1,800 Jews living there with all but 200 being Norwegian citizens.

Norway's army surrendered and they had a collaborationist government led by Vidkun Quisling.  The Nazis demanded anti-Jewish laws which were implemented quickly so that by 1942, 770 Jews were sent to Nazi concentration camps.  760 were killed in death camps, but the underground had smuggling out 930 Jews across to the Swedish border. After the war, 800 Jews had survived and they, with displaced persons, were invited back by the Norwegian government. By 1996 Norway thought about restitution of Jewish property that had been confiscated by the Quisling regime.

Today there is one rabbi in all of Norway who is at the synagogue in Oslo.  Norway doesn't allow the koshering of meat, so it is imported from Denmark.  There is a 2nd synagogue in Trondheim and is the most northern synagogue in the world.  I have met online a Norwegian Jewish girl whose family didn't know they were Jewish.  She wound up going to Israel to find out about her religion more.  It was a result of the family escaping from the Holocaust and winding up in Norway.

Today there is a lot of anti-Semitism going on in Norway.  Their Center Party just proposed a law against male circumcision, a Jewish practice for baby boys at the age of 8 days.  If this law passes, they will be the first country to do so.  Just such a proposal was made in San Francisco, California recently  and was not passed.  In 1814 Norway had "The Jewish Clause" in their constitution which excluded Jews from the country.  This had gone on till it was repealed in 1851.

The country has also taken in many Muslims, and wherever both groups reside causes lots of sparking hatred. Most of the anti-Semitic acts going on are committed by Muslims.  Muslim children are taught this hatred and it's showing up in the schools.  In 2009, 39 % of primary-school students in Oslo came from  immigrant families.   The latest event is about bullying a Jewish boy in school for the past several years which has resulted in his tormentors burning him on the neck with a burning-hot coin at an Oslo secondary school barbeque.  Why?  The boy's father is an Israeli, and this ticked off the students in their hatred for our tiny country.

Though the country declares that they have a zero tolerance for bullying, nothing was done about this incident. Other Jewish students have been assaulted in their schools and teachers are known to just look the other way.  Their media plays a major role in reinforcing anti-Semitism.  For example only one media in Norway reported the burned student, and that was a Christian, Israel-friendly daily newspaper.  The political left shows a hatred for Jews.
Sweden
Jews living in Sweden are descendants of World War II refugees and Holocaust survivors who came after the war.  They also have Jewish refugees who fled Hungary in 1956 and others who left Poland in 1968.  Recently, Jews went there from the former Soviet Union instead of immigrating to Israel.  Stockholm has 3 synagogues and 2 rabbis.  One synagogue was built in 1870.  Gothenburg and Malmo also have a synagogue.  Here also, kosher meat must be imported from Denmark which is bought in Stockholm and Malmo.

Malmo has recently had an influx of Muslims, and the city has become a hotbed of attacks on Jews. There are only 760 Jews but 45,000 Muslims of Palestinian, Iraqi, Somali and even Yugoslavian heritage in this city of 293,900.   It has become so bad that many of these  Jews have had to move out of the city as they feared for their life.  Marcus Eilenberg, 32 year old attorney is taking his family and moving to Israel now.  The mayor is siding with the new population and has done nothing to stop the situation.  It really is a disgrace.  I even attempted to write some comments in an English newspaper online and was horrified by what people were saying and believing.

Both countries have their cultural elite whose attitude towards the Muslim influx seems to be that when their leaders rant against Israel and the Jews, their response is to join them in their rantings, calling this "solidarity."

My Comments on the Oslo Slaying of 100 By Lone Norwegian Terrorist

Nadene Goldfoot
We finally had someone in Norway that was very sympathetic with Israel and he lost it all and  went on a rampage killing people in car bombings as well as killing almost 100 teenagers in a multi-cultural camp on an island.  Killing innocents around him doesn't help Israel or Jews at all.

Anders Behring Breivik was reported to have caused all the shocking terrorism in Oslo.  The blonde, probably blue-eyed nice looking Scandinavian left a 1,500 page manifesto as told about by Ben Hartman in "The Jerusalem Post."   One would never think that he would have turned out to be a terrorist.  Anders was bothered about the Muslims and Marxism and concerned about the welfare of Israel and Jews.

I was shocked that he was pro-Israel as it's hard to find such a person in Scandinavian countries.  I had read about Malma, Sweden and how the older Jewish people who had escaped the Holocaust and found shelter there were being driven out of their town by Muslims.  The attitude of the people was very anti-Israel.  I attempted to write a comment in the Swedish English newspaper there, and had received some very derogatory replies showing just how anti-Israel they were.

Norway hasn't been very helpful in their voting about Israel as well, reflecting possibly the average person's attitude.  The Simon Wiesenthal Center lists Norway as consistently with a failing grade on investigating and prosecuting Nazi war criminals.  The newspapers show blatent anti-semitism and anti-Israeli attitudes by displaying hate cartoons in their leading newspapers, similar to the type Nazi Germany used to produce.  They connect Jews to Nazis, the devil, and animals in these pictures.  The Norwegian government is left wing, and have a most accommodating position towards Palestine and the Hamas terrorists.  An Oslo synagogue was shot at.  The Cantor was attacked. Desecration of Jewish graves has happened as well as Jewish children being harassed in school. " According to the current Israeli ambassador to Norway, Miryam Shomrat, Norway is well known to be the most difficult country in Europe for Israel because of its media's extreme and unfair criticism of Israel and its politicized academic Middle East experts."

Anders was angry with western media who is unfair in focusing on the wrongdoing of Jews, and ignore serious Muslim attacks.  He was angry with Jews who support multiculturalism today feeling this is a threat to Israel as well.  Little does he understand how multi-cultural Israel is in having about 1.3 million Arabs as citizens.  Again, a lack of knowledge  has brought about his outrage as well as being very dissatisfied with his country's politics and attitude and not knowing what to do about it.   This is also something that has caused Muslim terrorism.  They have been fed so many lies about Jews and the history of Jews that they get to this boiling over point.  It's a (shunda) calamity that someone who sympathized with Israel decided to use such terrible force against people and kill instead of using his writing skills or respectable form of persuasion instead to  fight injustices in an acceptable manner.  It's sad that he crossed the line of sanity and could have worked to become a member of Norway's political system to bring about change.

Anders was calling Norwegians to a call to arms in his manifesto, which was described as extreme, bizarre and a ramabling screed of Islamophobia with venomous attacks.   He gave reasons for the importance of nationalism and the effects of Islam in Europe.  He was angry with his country for the 1999 NATO bombing campaign on Serbia and awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to an Islamic terrorist (Arafat) and of being appeasers of Islam.  His philosophy of killing so many now was that if a person decides to strike, it's better to kill too many than not enough. This is to cause the right impact of the strike.  He wanted people to understand that the free people of Europe will strike again and again.  Obviously Anders has become mentally unbalanced.

Did Anders know that earlier this month the Oslo Municipality found out that 33% of Jewish students were physically threatened or abused at least 2 to 3 times per month?  A few days later after finding this information from a survey, an American Jewish group arrived who had been invited by the Oslo Jewish community and they held a two-day seminar on anti-semitism, attempting to improve Norwegian's attitudes.  This was the way to go.  This was a step in the right direction.
7/25/11 Update:  The deceased at  Labor's Teen Camp is now listed as 68 instead of 100.   (Yahoo News, Oregonian newspaper)
