Terrorists Hit Urban Centers While Israel Hits Terrorist Cells

Egypt has brokered a cease fire between Gazan terrorists and Israel, and for agreeing the terrorists have been promised fuel from Egypt.  However, the terrorists haven't kept to the agreement which went into effect late Monday night and kept hitting Israel throughout the day on Tuesday!

Total Israeli injuries in the 4 day attacks are 8.  One Israeli was lightly injured on the hand  by flying glass on Tuesday evening in Netivot where a rocket landed.  11 people suffered from shock since the cease fire, but dozens suffered throughout the ordeal since March 9th.  This attack was after rockets slammed into the Ashkelon beach.

Terrorists shoot rockets into densely populated civilian areas and for themselves use human Gazan civilians as shields. Israelis mostly live in high rise apartments and have bomb shelters in each.  At least Safed does.  Everything comes to a stop when that 15 second warning siren is heard.  That's why few so far have been killed. 

In return as promised, IAF aircraft hit 2 terrorist centers in northern Gaza by Tuesday night.  Israel suffered from over 200 rockets hitting civilian centers, while Israel only targeted known terrorist cells and killed 27 Gazans, most of which were terrorists.  Again, Gazan civilians are accidently killed because they are too near the cells. They have their wounded from the attack as well. It's amazing to me that people wouldn't move away from them. Perhaps they're not allowed.

Reports are coming from leaders of Hizbullah and Hamas  that the terrorists' attack on Israel was coordinated by the Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood testing reactions.   Hassan Nasrallah of Hizbullah did meet with Hamas leader #2 Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouk.  Their meeting on Monday night put the blame on Israel for the escalation.  Hamas says they are planning another "million-man" march on Israel the end of March.

Escalation of Missile Attacks in Israel: Cease Fire Up in Air: ASHKELON'S HOSPITAL AFFECTED

Hamas says a ceasefire will come soon, but the perpetrators think not.  Even the terrorists don't agree with each other!  So far, they have shot about 200 missiles into Israel but it is they who have lost the most by doing so.  18 terrorists were killed as well as 5 civilians so far.  On Monday 3 of the civilians were killed and 2 terrorists.  Israel's civilians have been injured, and over a million Israelis have been affected whose lives have come to a standstill in bomb shelters. 

In the meantime, Ashkelon's Barzali Hospital is moving children and mothers to bomb shelters.  Ashkelon is Portland's sister city.  They are sending home many patients as possible.  Otherwise, I've heard that they also have patient quarters in their basement.  The missile bombardment is moving from the south that has been pummeled to the north.  Ashkelon is close to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Beer-Sheba along the coastal road.  It links Egypt and Syria.  It's one of the oldest cities in the world dating back 4,000 years.  In their park one can see Greek and Roman ruins and remains of ancient synagogues.  It has a population of 120,000.

Gedara, south of Tel Aviv suffered from the attack on Monday.  There is a scarcity of Iron Dome systems to protect all of southern Israel.  Missile damage was sustained by several parked cars.  The IDF hit a terrorist cell by the afternoon in Gaza and terrorists report that a father and daughter were killed, but this has not been confirmed yet by the IDF.  This is one of the problems the IDF have of their ability to pinpoint a hit.  The terrorists purposely hide out among civilians so they can turn things around and blame Israel.  Every possible steps are taken by the IDF to not let this happen, but sometimes it does.

Hamas, who are not the killers this time but are in charge, wants Israel to promise to stop attacking "ticking bomb" terrorists who prepare rocket attacks on Israel.  This is ridiculous by any type of reasoning.  Instead of stopping these killers, they put the onus on the targets.  Israel had already warned that they "will carry out pre-empitve measures to protect" Israel.  The PA, from Ramallah, said it will ask the UN to condemn counter terrorist actions, and call this "terror."  Whatever do they call the feelings Israelis have of this Russian-type of roulette?    In other words, the Arabs want the Israelis to stand still so they can be hit and don't fight back.  Whoever heard of such a slaughter  except when hunters out shooting ducks.

East of Ashdod and only 10 miles from Israel 's major airport is Kiryat Malachi, whose warning sirens were shrieking. 
At the same time on Monday, which is the 4th day of Israel retaliating to the incessant bombing they have endured, the QUARTET,  USA, Russia, EU and UN met to talk about how to bring about a ceasefire.  The missiles have not let up.

PLO/Fatah Created by Arab League Emirs, Not Arab People

Some Americans and Europeans have thought that the Palestinian"s Palestine Liberation Organization or PLO was the arm of Palestinians fighting against unfairness and that they were the underdog.  It wasn't even founded by the few Arabs that had lived in "Palestine."  It wasn't chosen to be the respresentative in a democratic election.  It was the baby of the Arab League, a unification of 22 Arab states. Yasser Arafat became Chairman of the PLO in 1969, having been active since 1964's PLO origin.  This development follows the 1967 war when the Arab onslaught failed to destroy Israel. 

They had set up terrorist groups in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq and were supported from these non Democratic countries.  They included groups like George Habash's Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Nayef Hawatmeh's Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.  These had sparked after the Six- DayWar (1967).  Each organization had its own plan which was usually  made of Marxist or Maoist dogmas.  Then they threw in some "national liberation" theme. 

The groups could not unify because of power feuds, so the PLO became the umbrella  for the Palestinians.    Tunis-based PLO were not so eager to fight to the death for the last "West Banker."  Tunisia, a North African country of over 10 million Sunni Muslims, just weren't that excited about mixing in.  The Arabs had the Madrid Peace Conference in October 1991 where Palestinians from Gaza, Judea and Samaria showed more willingness to negotiate a West Bank/Gaza autonomy agreement.  This was just before  Hamas's power emerged. Thus, the PLO became Fatah which Arafat had founded in 1959. 

Fatah, created by Yassser Arafat and friends in Algeria, originally opposed the founding of the PLO which was backed by Syria.  By 1965 Arafat was at the helm and terrorist raids were carried out from Jordan, Lebanon and Egyptian- ruled Gaza against civilian targets in Israel.  By 1968 he took control completely of Fatah.  Fatah means "Conquest by means of Jihad".  Jihad is an Islamic Holy War! 

Hamas, meaning Islamic Resistance Movement, was an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1987.  It was founded to liberate Palestine from Israel "occupation."  They want to take all the land belonging to Israel, Gaza, Judea and Samaria and turn it into an Islamic state of their own.  No Jew will be allowed to live in this expanse, and at this rate, none would want to.  I note that before Israel was created, the land was a good-for-nothing wasteland of swamps, desert and mosquitoes.  They want it now that the Jews of Israel have turned it into a "Garden of Eden."   In their hands it would go right back to the original state. 

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) was chosen by UN employees at refugee camps in Gaza to represent them in 1990.  Elections were held in 1991 by the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and many Hamas candidates won over the PLO rivals.  As a rule, fundamentalist Islamic groups were not represented in the PLO.  This might be why they had their rift and why they still have problems in agreeing to a charter. 

The Arab community grew immensely since the end of fighting in 1949.  At that time about 140,000 were left in Israeli territory.  This came about by births safeguarded by better hospitals and staff.  The Arab custom allows 4 wives per man, so they have had plenty of children.   Thousands were re-admitted who had fled when the Arab states had attacked Israel.  Arab citizens of Israel are exempt from military service.  The Druze and Circassian communities are the exception by their own demand and have been great citizens as well as great fighters for their country.   They know that they are far better off than their brothers and sisters living outside of Israel. 

These puppet string pullers of 22 Arab states who include a special status to "Palestine" with Mahmoud Abbas as leader are:
Algeria, Bahrain, Comoras, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.  Out of these 22, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are absolute monarchies where the Emir or leader is the only one with power.  Qatar is home to Qaradawi, the religious leader of the Muslim Brotherhood's followers and enjoys protection from the Emir. Their religious principles are that they have a fatwa to kill all Jews and destroy Israel. 

Arafat received the Nobel Peace prize in 1994.  He had actually accepted article 242 verbally, at least.  He then died on November 11, 2004.  It was 2001 on  that attacks from Gaza were so violent that Israel had to go in with Operation Cast Lead" on December 27, 2008.

The Arab community always relied on their leaders who were the ones granting favors of life to them, but have now disregarded their own good by using them as pawns in their power struggles.  When the leaders told them to get out of Jerusalem, they did, only to find that their Arab armies had lost the fight and they were stuck, told to live in Palestinian refugee camps.  They elected Hamas over Fatah, probably at the threat of death or just by ignorance.   The pity is having been allowed to be led by the nose instead of by good reasoning skills.  Going along with some dictator's wishes has led to many deaths and a less than favorable life.

Fatah and Hamas Try Again to Unite

The two terrorist groups in Gaza have gone through the motions of uniting to join forces against Israel.  This time PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas met on Sunday with Hamas's Chief Khaled Mashaal in the tiny state next door to Saudi Arabia, Qatar.  They are in the act of forming their unity government.  They did have an agreement signed last May, but still can't come to an agreement to agree with it.

  Qatar has become most important as a tiny state with a lot of backing.  They have managed to ingratiate themselves in the world with their Qatar Foundation which promotes their beliefs with education, and that comes in the form of financial backing.  Qaradawi, the top religious Muslim in the world, resides in Qatar and is the best friend of the Emir.  He has called for the death of all Jews and just finished a speaking engagement in Egypt. 

This Doha, Qatar meeting comes after having 5 meetings in Jordan with the king and with Israel in which they were to discuss a peace pact, but they got nowhere. Jordan does have a peace agreement with Israel.   Now they're just meeting and need assistance to unite together as one Palestinian terrorist group again.  They plan to hold elections in the near future. 

Previously, the two men met in Cairo for meetings, but have been unable to follow up on any agreement they reached.  Fatah had been the ruling party when Hamas overpowered them and sent Abbas into exile to live in Judea/Samaria.  The West has always thought that Fatah had been more reasonable and less violent, but in reality it isn't much different.  Fatah has been supplying salaries to Gazan terrorists as well as media through children's TV programs on PA TV that glorify terrorists as heros.  They glorify terrorists by naming streets and buildings after terrorists as well.  Maps in schools do not show Israel.  Textbooks have also been hateful towards Israel. 

One point of disagreement between these two groups is who is to be Prime Minister.  Hamas is not agreeing to the present Prime Minister Salam Fayyad as the head.  They also talked about a travel ban that Hamas put on Fatah officials in Gaza and Palestinian passports to people living in Judea/Samaria.  Another disagreement they are having is over Hamas's charter which they refuse to change.  It reads like the Muslim Brotherhood calling for the destruction of Israel.  They will not recognize the State of Israel.  By hooking up with Hamas, the USA is so disgusted that they are not going to fork over anymore money to them.  Hamas also refuses to follow the directive of the Quartet,  who are Russia, UN and European Union who say they are trying to establish peace.  Hamas must give up violence and recognize Israel's right to exist and uphold previous peace pacts. 

Fatah works out of Ramallah, Samaria, which is where their government lies.  They broadcast in Arabic different things that they might say in English.  Abbas speaks in English and says to all, "support peace,' while his planned events honor bloodthirsty terrorists that murdered Israelis.  If ever there was a two-faced person, it is he. 

All the fighting going on in Syria has driven out a senior Hamas official who had decided to reside there for the past 21 years, but things have gotten out of hand.  Emad Alami came back on Sunday, not because of war there but because of growing tensions with the authorities. 

The best thing that can happen is if these two would follow the directives for peace that the  world powers are suggesting.  But Terrorists are not necessarily sane, and these two have a hard time agreeing with each other let alone come to any agreements, then they disagree anyway.  What good is a peace pact going to be with them and how long will it last?   These terrorists' agreements last about as long as some Hollywood marriages, a few days.  This is a struggle of power, and Abbas was the loser before.

Update:   Abbas was suggested to be interim government PM  till elections by Qatar.

"Israel occupied east Jerusalem in 1967 and annexed it later in a move never recognised by the international community. It considers the entire city its "eternal, indivisible capital."  
(AFP-European Union says Israeli settlements are "worrying."-reference below.)

After being attacked by all the surrounding Arab states, Israel miraculously won the  battle and in doing so, gained back east Jerusalem, which had been held by Jordan in an illegal move of occupation without permission.  Now Jerusalem is one again and enjoying the fruits of unification.

The European Union, forever not wanting to affront their Arab pals, is saying that Israeli "settlements", which are now becoming old villages, towns and cities, are   a "worrying" development.  At least they are for a 2 state solution.   They also state that the legitimacy of Israel must never be called into question.  

Where I question is "the right of Palestinians to achieve statehood".  Why?  I ask.  They were never a state of their own.  Jews have had to wait since 70CE to regain their own land, and at that they have but a drop in the bucket compared to their original land tract.  The Arabs have been given the opportunity to have their own state ever since 1948 when Israel was pronounced a state among the nations and they have refused, wanting the whole piece instead of their slice of the pie.  Instead, they answer Israel's pleas with bombing and killing.  So what is their right in getting their own state which is more demanding than other entities in the world who seem to be more deserving. 

Where does it say that Jerusalem is so important to the Arabs?  It's not a religious center at all.  At best, east Jerusalem does have many Arabs living there, but this is not reason to take it over as the capital of "Palestine."  The Koran does not address Jerusalem.  East Jerusalem contains Arabs because  Jordan had taken it in the War of Independence illegally; thus there are still Arabs living there.  Israel did not force them out.  Israel is trying to get along with its neighbors, and has hired them for work, not attacked them. 

Israel has been begging the Palestinians to "demonstrate their commitment to a peaceful solution" but instead, Fatah has joined Hamas; a terrorist group connecting with an even more evil terrorist group.  That's how they have demonstrated their "right to a state."

The EU accuses Israel of "systematically undermining the Palestinian presence in Jerusalem through the continued expansion of settlements."  Israel has dismantled cities that had developed with the results of having the areas become Muslim centers for attack.  Look at Gaza.  If the "Palestinians won't come to the peace talks and be serious about making friends with Israel, then why should Israel hold back in building needed homes for its people.  When they get serious about their attitude, decisions can be made about building. 

Right now there are several fatwas out to kill all Jews everywhere and destroy Israel from Hamas itself as well as Qaradawi, the religious leader who has gained prominence through Qatar's Emir.  He had been thrown out of Egypt by Mubarak for his outlandish attitude, but he has gained prominence and just spoke in Egypt to over a million Islamists.  This is not the climate that creates peace between Israel and the Hamas-led Palestinians. 

Face it, European Union.  The "Palestinians want east Jerusalem simply because it means so much to Jews.  If they ever picked up the "Old Testament" and read it, they'd see how Jerusalem plays a prominent role to us.  It goes back to Kings David and Solomon.  Hamas's own leader, Khaled Meshal, who chooses to live in Damascus, Syria instead of Gaza, is resigning but may do another term anyway as he is in demand.  This man has Jordanian citizenship and could return there if he gives up all political aspirations.  He will only be 56 in May, and is quite too young to retire. 

Israel was led to believe that they would receive  a fair size of their old land back in the Balfour Declaration of 1917.  Their high aspirations dwindled before their eyes but they accepted the token piece they were offered in the end.  If Hamas is serious about wanting their own state, they could easily choose another site for their capital being that they have a great deal of land already.  East Jerusalem is a subject that was to be discussed in peace talks that the EU seems to want decided before the discussion.  Can it be that Hamas knows they can't come up with rational answers?  The international community favors their Arab friends, owners of oil wells.  What sort of community is it that cannot see the logic of east Jerusalem remaining a united section of the rest of Jerusalem?

Judea-Samaria Planned Attacks and Syrian Hot Spots

The Emir of Qatar had been involved in the overthrow of Libya's Muammar Qaddafi, and saw that that endeavor was a success, so now he's involved in another section of Muslim uprising.

He has established an army called the Sunni Arab Intervention Force which is training in Turkey.  It is made up of what they call the Free Syrian Army of 20,000 islamist terrorists and is all funded by the Emir.  They are to drive out the Syrian President Bashar Assad. 

Being that Syria is next door to Israel, this is frightening as they can just jump over the border and attack Israelis as well. 

This along with Abbas giving into Hamas's Khaled Meshaal  in a situation that can bring Hamas into Judea and Samaria is also alarming.  Nidal Dokhan, Military Intelligence Chief Major General ,  is replacing a fired former Fatah personnel who will help carry out an anti-Israel resistance campaign.  They plan mass demonstrations and will try to smash through any barriers, and thus break into Jewish towns and villages in Judea and Samaria.  Of course Abbas has not informed the USA of his new plans. 
I believe they are striving for a 3rd Intifada.

Kiss Peace Talks Goodbye: Fatah and Hamas are Uniting Again

Fatah is the modern PLO, which had been run by Arafat.  Hamas was an outgrowth of that before 1987, and  had taken on the Muslim Brotherhood goals of never accepting Israel or Jews into the Middle East.  They are the extreme terrorists of the terrorists.  They had even driven Abbas out to Judaea and Samaria (West Bank). 

Thursday while in Cairo, Egypt, the two groups had a reconciliation where they announced plans for Hamas to join the umbrella group.  For twenty years Fatah has had on-and-off talks with Israel about possible peace.  Fatah has accomplished less terrorism than Hamas due to this leadership. 

The problem with this joint effort is that Hamas opposes peace talks vehemently  and rejects Israel's right to exist.  Actually, this is where the peace effort has been sitting anyway, since at least the year 2000.  There has been no hope with the raining of rockets, missiles and mortars coming into southern Israel all this time.  It's not a show of the intention of peaceful cohabitation.  What this actually means is that Hamas will be listened to more, as they will have a stronger voice in the group, which may also mean a stronger leadership.

According to this new agreement, Khaled Mashaal of Hamas will join a committee that will prepare for elections of the PLO's parliament in exile and will serve right along with Abbas.  As Fatah negotiator, Azzam al-Ahmed has said, this reconciliation has started but might take some time.  An election might be years away as the PLO group speaks for all Palestinians.  They intend to include so called Palestinians who live all over the world, including refugees in camps in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. 

Being there never was a state of Palestine, only the re-naming of the land that Jews had lived in, Arabs had come from all 4 corners of the Middle East to find work from the Jews who were re-building the land.  Therefore, I wonder if it isn't possible for any Arab to call themself a "Palestinian" if they have proof of living there before 1948 even for a few months. 

The goal of Hamas and Fatah is to gain a "Law of Return" for all Palestinians and thus drive all the Jews out. 
This is one of the points that Netanyahu has to be strong about not allowing to happen.  By going through with this uniting of terrorist factions, I see that there is no possible hope of ever coming to a peaceful accord between the terrorists and the Jews.  No wonder Israel has reacted with alarm to this agreement.

Qatar's Dealings With Hamas

The former leader of Qatar died in 1995.  

Senator John Kerry had "voiced concerns about alleged Qatari government and private support to Hamas, saying in April 2009 that "Qatar....can't continue to be an American ally on Monday that sends money to Hamas on Tuesday."

"August 2009 saw Qatar offer $10 million in cash payments via the Hamas Administration in Gaza to support thousands of unemployed Palestinians".  Most are employed in the government.  The "Palestinians" are the longest achieving people to be on the dole with the U.N. as a displaced people. The $10 million included fishermen facing difficulty because of Israel's blockade of Gaza's coastal waters.  This came about because of ships trying to bring in ammunition used to attack Israel. 

Qatar makes more money than any other Arab country in the Middle East.  Qatar supports the Arab League position backing indirect negotiations between the Palestinian Authority and Israel.  Just in April of this year, the Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani visited the White House and said that "the most important issue for us in the region is that Palestine-Israeli conflict and how to find a way to establish a Palestinian state."

He said then that he supported Obama's goal of the existence of two states living peacefully side by side.  Being his good friend, Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi, seemingly Qatar's chief Theologian,  is a main leader in the Muslim Brotherhood, I doubt his sincerity to Obama.  The Muslim Brotherhood is for the murder of all Jews and the destruction of Israel according to their charter.  For starters, he's all for the destruction of Jerusalem.  Qaradawi believes this so strongly that he has issued a fatwa  stating all this.

Qatari leaders have criticized Israel's decisions on Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria and in additional upkeep building in Jerusalem.  Their mixed signals are reflected in Qatar's position about boycotting Israel.  In September 1994 their decision by the GCC was to terminate enforcement of the indirect boycotts, but maintaining in theory the primary boycott.  There actually had been an Israeli trade office in the capital, Doha, but it was closed by the Qatari government in response to the January 2009 Gaza war and hasn't been reopened. 

Qatar has been supportive of Hamas in recent years and indirectly supportive of Iran and Syria.  They tell others that it's a policy of engaging all sides in the interests of peace.  In October 2006 they were doing some diplomacy to resolve the differences between Palestinian factions and trying to release the kidnapped Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit by Hamas captors.  They even offered $50 million to the Hamas-led PA government and has hosted Hamas leaders for many talks since January 2006.  Tzipi Livni, Israel's then Foreign Minister declined their invitation in Doha in October 2006 because Hamas people would be there.  However, an Israeli delegation did go.  Shimon Peres visited Qatar in February 2007 and declined the Emir's reported suggestion that Israel negotiate directly with Hamas.

Qater kept working on Hamas and Fatah to speak to each other and they came to an agreement in May 2011.  They may even find offices for themselves in Doha because of unrest in Syria.  After all, Khaled Meshaal and other Hamas leaders visited Doha in April and December 2010, meeting with Emir Al Thani and Prime Minister Jabr Al Thani. 

Qatar and Israel do not have formal diplomatic ties.  The Emir of Qatar gave refuge to Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi, considered a theologian of terror for Jews, who was kicked out of Egypt because of leadership in the Muslim Brotherhood.  That was when Mubarak was head of Egypt.  Today the Muslim Brotherhood has gained leadership there, but Qaradawi is settled nicely in Qatar.  One must think of why Egypt couldn't tolerate his religious leadership back then and what it stood for that Mubarak realized.  Hamas has sworn to destroy Israel.  This gives cause to worry about Qatar's connections. 

Our government continues to be Qatar's ally.  They were allowed to use Qatar as a a major military base.  Qatar founded Al Jazeera, the first all news Arabic language satellite TV network in 1995 used to brainwash many into hating Israel along with their news.  Some Americans question the possible support for Al Qaeda terrorists including members of the ruling Qatar family.

BRIEF FACTS ON THE ISRAELI CONFLICT TODAY

…(It takes just 1.5 minutes to read!)...maybe 2 minutes with my comments. . 
(from British TV interview with Netanyahu during retliation against Hamas's shelling of Israel,  from Colorado.  Compiled by a Christian University Professor. Comments from me in italics. Many of these facts I've heard before from other sources. 

It makes sense and it’s not slanted. Jewand non-Jew — it doesn’t matter.

1. Nationhood and Jerusalem – Israel became a nation in 1312 BCE, Two thousand years before the rise of Islam. (Saul was 1st king in 11th century BCE, son of Kish of tribe of Benjamin.  Selected by prophet Samuel, prophet. Philistines and Ammonites were threatening.  King David was successor, also chosen by Samuel.  King Solomon was David's son.   Israel's king Jeroboam 933-912 BCE.  Larger than Judah, existed for 210 years, had 19 kings of 9 dynastics.  Ended with Samaria's capture by Sargon in 721BCE) (Kingdom of Judah, southerly of Israel and Judah, was divided from Israel in 933 BCE after death of Solomon) (Mohammad born 570CE in Mecca, age 40 had visitation from angel Gabriel, revelation from Allah, preached in 613, night journey in 620, 624 Battle of Badr, attack Jewish Qaynuqa tribe, exile them from Medina, etc., died June 8, 632CE.) 

2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel. (after 1967 Six Day War-Israel won)

3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BCE, the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years. (Joshua took over for Moses, went into the Promised Land.)

4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 CE lasted no more than 22 years.

5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem , they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.

6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran.

7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem . Mohammed never came to Jerusalem .
(Islam's Sura 17 , Al -Isra, and in the Hadith, tell of one night in 621 CE where Mohammed took a spiritual/physical ride on his steed, Buraq to "the farthest mosque", where he led other prophets in prayer, and also ascended to heaven on this magical horse and spoke to G-d who gave him instructions on how to pray. Muslims now claim the farthest mosque was the Jewish Temple Mount in Jerusalem where they  have built a Mosque over the Jewish Temple)

8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem . Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem .

9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: in 1948:  the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews . Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.

10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms. (Creation of Israel in 1948 caused Arab countries to kick out Jews).

11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be the same.

12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own people’s lands. Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel , a country no larger than the state of New Jersey ..

13. The Arab-Israeli Conflict: the Arabs are represented by eight separate nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation. The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost. Israel defended itself each time and won.

14. The PLO’s Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them.(Israel left Gaza for the PLO and they turned it into a staging ground to shoot missiles into Southern Israel-Hamas took it over from PLO in fight) (Muslim Brotherhood Charter called for all Jews to be killed and destruction of Israel)

15. Under Jordanian rule, (up to 1967)  Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.  Sites now in danger-being taken over in Arab places, Jews denied access.-Blame UN's siding of accepting Palestine. 

16. The UN Record on Israel and the Arabs: of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel .

17. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were directed against Israel .

18. The UN was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians. (UN still silent when Israel is being bombarded by missiles from Gaza, Lebanon)

19. The UN was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives (before 1967)

20. The UN was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like a policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. (from 1948-1967)

Why a Palestine Should Not Be Recognized By the U.N.: The Terrorist Groups Involved

The PLO was founded in 1964.  This terrorizing political group  attacked Israel in 1967 along with all the other Arab neighbors who are so adamant against having a Jewish state in their midst.  Strangely, there were several Arab leaders pre-1948 who were all for the idea.  What developed was a fever for a radical Muslim ideology.

Yasser Arafat was the chairman from 1969 to 2004 when he died.  Then Mahmoud Abbas, or Abu Mazen took over from 2005 to the present.  Their ideology is that they are secular Arab nationalists.  "Armed struggle is the only way to liberate "Palestine." They feel that Israel is entirely illegal regardless of the time it has existed.  They claim that the history of the Jews or their religious ties to the land are not factual and have been busy trying to erase them physically and in the minds of their people.  Their activities against Israel has been plane hijackings, hostage taking, bombings, assassination, targeting Israeli civilians and Jews globally and conducting operations against Lebanese, Jordanians and Americans.  They fought against King Hussein of Jordan. 

What did the UN do to help Israel?  They turned around and recognized the PLO as the sole representative of the Palestinian people.  1996 saw the PLO votes for amending its Charter to delete clauses calling for the destruction of Israel, but renigged by not changing this in public documents.  By 2007 they were found to be stealing international aid by being corrupt leaders.

This led to 1959's founding of the Fatah group who continue to call for the national liberation of Palestine. It has a militia group called the Tanzim and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade.  This was organized by Yasser Arafat with Mahmood Abas and others.  Their idiology is that of a revolutionary nationalist liberation group.  They came into being in 1968 and remain the PLO's main faction.  They practice guerilla warfare, shootings, bombings, and rocket and suicide attacks.  Females entered into it with the first suicide bomber in 2002, 5 others from 2002 to 2005.  214 terrorist attacks from them occurred from 2003-2004.  33 suicide bombings came from this group from 2000 to 2005.  This group has several militias.  They started coordinating with radical Islamist terrorist groups for joint terrorist attacks.  This is the "mild-mannered" political group led by Abbas who says one thing to the international public and another to his people. 

1987 found Hamas created by Sheikh Ah;med Yassin and continued by Khaled Mashal in 2004 to today.  They are not only residing in the Gaza Strip but are also found in Judea-Samaria with leaders also living in Syria, Lebanon and Iran.  Their ideology goes along with the Muslim Brotherhood Islamists.  They opposed the PLO and fought enough to chase out Abbas.  Now they have rejoined, yet are still disagreeing, even to the moment of Abbas going to the UN in a few days.  They say that Islam will obliterate Israel and that there is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad, their Holy War.  This is right from their Hamas Charter. 

These terrorists are responsible for 40% of suicide bombings and dominate Gaza.  They use the constant rocket and mortar attacks on Israel that the UN has ignored.  They are tied to Syria, Iran and Lebanon and funded from groups in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Western Europe, Hezbollah terrorists and others.  The US State Department lists them as a terrorist organization yet everyone has been pushing Israel to make peace with them. 

Nobody seems to ask Hamas to make peace with Israel, and the world has stood by while they commit shootings, bombings, rocket attacks and suicide missions.  Israel recieved 773 terrorist attacks from 2003 to 2004, 41 suicide bombings from 1993 to 2000,  58 suicide bombings from 2000 to 2005.  377 Israelis were killed and 2,076 wounded just from 2000 to April 2004.  Israel foiled 29 suicide bombers and arrested them in 2005. 

And yet we even have American Rabbis who think that if these terrorists, who have been terrorizing Israel since its inception  in 1948 and have been offered every iota on the plate except a crumb deserves their own state.  At one time they were offered 90% of Judea and Samaria and refused it, wanting 100%.  Gaza was given up by the Jews in the hopes and promises of peace.  They even may think that suddenly if they have their own "Palestine." they will become happy campers and live in peace with Israel forever after like an arranged marriage. 

How deluded they are in my eyes.  I can see how this will not be the case as the need has never been to have their own state as their refusals have shown,  but to drive out the one and only Jewish one.  It's an affront to the Muslims who have taken up the radical side of Islam.  This is a war of religion, not of land ownership.

Since September 28, 2000 to December 31, 2005 there have been 25,770 terrorist attacks against Israel from Hamas and Fatah.  From that there were 147 suicide bombings causing 47% of all deaths.  1,084 were killed.  7,454 were injured.  They are not conducting a war between armies.  82% of the dead and wounded of Israelis were civilians just from 2000 to 2004. 

By December 27, 2008, Israel had been enduring 8 years of shelling from the Arabs in Gaza which meant 12,000 rocket attacks. They finally fought back in defense with Operation Cast Lead's operation.  Since then, attacks have continued. 

Israel hasn't been the negator in the Peace Talks.  At the Camp David negotiations, Arafat had turned the peace table upside down on President Clinton.  In Arafat's mind was the planned intifada that then broke out.  It did not happen because Sharon had visited the al-Aqsa Mosque which is also the site of the Jewish Temple.  That turned out to be a coincidence.  This fact comes from  Imad Falouji, the PA Communications Minister on March 3, 2001. 

There are other compteing terrorist groups.  Sometimes they cooperate with each other in an offense against Israel. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) was founded in 1979 and are in both places.  Hezbollah (Party of G0D) came about by Iran  in 1982 in Lebanon.  The PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine of 1967 is also in Judea-Samaria, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon.  Iran has given Hamas and Hezbollah millions of dollars each year.  Hamas's Khaled Maashal lives in Damascus, Syria.  Hamas and Hezbollah signed an agreement in 2004 to increase attacks on Israel. 

Yet the "wise men" of the U.N, and shamefully some USA Rabbis and their followers blame Israel for not making peace.  They confuse wishful thinking and the Jewish and Christian precepts of fairness and rightousness with reality, and the reality is that Israel's neighbors' leadership really do not want to make peace.  It's like this:  You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.  When the Arabs want to "drink the water of peace with Jews, then we might think the Messiah has arrived and we'll have peaceful times that we all thirst for.

Crisis in U.N. in September: Consequences Upon Israel

 The Arabs in Gaza and Judea/Samaria are planning to go to the U.N. in September.  What they are planning to ask them will pertain to the creation of their statehood.  Obama has said that they need to first negotiate with Israel, and Israelis certainly would expect the shelling of Israel  to stop instead of speeding up, which has happened this last month.  Israel also expected the Arabs to recognize the Jewish state of Israel which has been refused. Netanyahu had wanted to get security guarantees out of meetings with Abbas, but since the Arab representative refused to discuss anything with Netanyahu, it has not been obtained.   The Arabs want Eastern Jerusalem as their capital whereas all of Jerusalem is in the hands of Israel.  Only Jordan's illegal holding of East Jerusalem for 19 years gave Arabs the idea to lay claim to this part of the most important city in Jewish history.  1967's success for Israel  broke the wall  and opened the eastern section  up to the rest of the city.  What should be considered is that the Arab school supplies show maps without any Israel at all, and teach that Palestine is the whole area.  Such delusional teachings obviously show how they think. 

One would expect that in the next 3 weeks the Arabs would come to their own agreement of who would become Prime Minister.  Fatah from Judea/Samaria would like Salam Fayyad to be Prime Minister or Premier, but Hamas from Gaza wants somebody from their terrorist group.  Mahmud Abbas has been the President from Fatah.  Fatah had been known as the PLO headed by Arafat. 

Fatah has been adamant in refusing to consider any of the concerns of Israel, whose prime decisions depend on security issues.  They have been able to get Germany, France and Britain to agree with them that Israel must go back to the 1967 lines with equivalent land swaps which Netanyahu cannot go along with.  Israel feels this will predetermine the outcome which will not be favorable for Israel, expecially in dealing with Jerusalem.  This Quartet; the European Union, U.N. and Russia met in Berlin on April 15th for discussion and decided on the 67 lines to be called on.  Evidently Obama was just going along with their decision when he presented this to Netanyahu which was televised for the world to watch.  Obama  had said last year that he expected the Palestinian group to present a framework for statehood to be declared by this fall at the U.N.  Their prime minister, Salam Fayyad had said in September 2009 that their government would be ready for statehood in two years, meaning this fall. 

Israel hopes to hold onto their largest population centers in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem as well as the border on the east as well which would have to be the land swap mentioned. 

This is a Ripley's Belive it or Not.  Here we have the extremely small world's only Jewish state win against an aggressive attack of war from the mighty Arabs in 1967 and successive wars of 73, etc, and yet the world is trying to force them into accepting a retreat and go back to borders with a few alterations from 1967.  This is all because  a people have come together and have claimed they need their own state which must be made from the land Israel had gained.  Israel was so small to begin with and now is to be cut again.  This is a ludicrous decision.  This will mean  48 Muslim majority states to 1 reduced in size Jewish state  for the world.  It's as if Texas is taking a chunk out of New Jersey because it needs another ranch.  

September's UN meeting may find the Arabs asking for:

1. Palestinian membership in the U.N., proclaiming themselves a state

2. The General Assembly to upgrade their status from Observed  to Observer state

This would show support for a Palestinian independence.  It will mean a diplomatic tsunami for Israel, for the UN has been declaring that Israel's control of Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem is unlawful.  Evidently with them it was lawful to attack Israel, for I haven't heard of any punishment or comment on that deed.  Repercussions for attacking another country must not be in the U.N. Charter. 

Obama has veto rights and can veto their creation of a state at this time. He has given this assurance. 

Many have wondered what the effects will be if Palestine is created at this time.  It is a way to try to force all Jews living in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem out, for all this Arab territory is to become free of Jews.  It doesn't hold a candle to the Democratic values of Israel where over a million Arabs are living.  There is even the possibility of Israel being attacked as it was a month ago with thousands and thousands of Arabs rushing into Israel in "marches" where they are to storm Israel's checkpoints in Judea and Samaria.  Abbas is urging his people to join peaceful demonstrations in support of their U.N. initiative.  They never remain peaceful in any country.  Look at what has been going on in London today.  This is not an action of a neighbor bent on living peacefully with his neighbor. 

What with the Arab Spring going on with rebellion in most all Arab states surrounding Israel, the time is of much dissonance in the air.  The world is reeling from financial woes and people out of work.  Creating a Palestine with unresolved issues will only lead to more deaths.  Because the Arabs are unwilling to wait and refuse to change their attitude should not be a basis for gaining another Muslim state. 

The U.N. was created to protect the rights of states  and countries from persecution such as what happened with the Nazis.  Israel was attacked over and over and just what has the U.N. ever done to stop the attackers?  Treating the one democratic state in the Middle East with punishment for protecting itself  while watching from the sidelines is almost an action of people from 70 A.D. of old Roman days.  One expects more from a New York based building with the best of the world in judgement.
