Israel's Administered Areas Due To Six Day War and Present Demographics

Let's go back 42 years to the year 1972.  Almost a million Arabs lived in the administered areas.
The last census was in 2013.  over 4 million Arabs lived in the Palestinians areas.  4,420,549 according to the latest figures.  That growth has happened in the past 41 years.

1. Judaea and Samaria,  640,000 of them lived here,   the so wrongly called West Bank area which is 5,900 sq km or 2,270 sq. miles. Between 1948 and 1967 it was ruled by Jordan, which annexed it in 1950.  Originally part of British Mandate of Palestine-taken in WWI (first world war) from Ottoman Empire who lost to the Allies (England, France, USA) .  4 Israeli settled towns were pulled out by Israel in 2005.  In 2010 they had 2.52 million. By 2013 they had 2,719,112 .  By July 2014 Judaea, Samaria and East Jerusalem's population numbers 2,731,052.  This includes Arabs (83%) and Jews (17%).

2.  388,600 Arabs were living in the Gaza Strip of 360 sq. km or 140 sq. miles, same history but administered from 1948 to 1967  by Egypt who did not annex it.  2007 voting chose Hamas terrorists to rule.  2012 UN decided it was part of the future state of Palestine  Israel left by September 14, 2005.  By 2010 Gaza's population was up to 1.60 million.(July 2010 was 1,604,238).   By 2013 they had 1,701,437.

3.  North Sinai  (Sinai Desert) 1948 to 1967 administered by Egypt, 60,000 sq km or.23,000 sq miles with 2.5 million population today which is including more:  North Sinai, South Sinai, Suez, Ismailia, and Port Said.  With the most interesting history, Israel is not administering it today.  " Israel invaded and occupied Sinai during the Suez Crisis (known in Egypt as the Tripartite Aggression) of 1956, and during the Six Day War of 1967. On 6 October 1973, Egypt launched the October War to liberate the peninsula, which was the site of fierce fighting between Egyptian and Israeli forces. In 1982, after the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty of 1979, Israel withdrew from the entirety of Sinai. Today, Sinai has become a tourist destination due to its natural setting, rich coral reefs, and biblical history. Mount Sinai is one of the most religiously significant places in Abrahamic faiths.".(1)

4.  8,000 were living in the Golan Heights which consists of 1,250 sq km or 500 sq miles. 1948 to 1967 administered by Syria.  Citing " UN Resolution 242, which calls for "safe and recognised boundaries free from threats or acts of force" Israel in 1981 took it over with Israeli law and administration.  Approximately 10% of Syrian Golan Druze have accepted Israeli citizenship. According to the CIA World Factbook, as of 2010, "there are 41 Israeli settlements and civilian land use sites in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights" .

"Jews started to move into the Golan in the 1970s.  The Israeli-occupied territory is administered by the Golan Regional Council, based in Katzrin, which has a population of 6,400. There another 19 moshavim and 10 kibbutzim. In 1989, the settler population was 10,000. In 2010 the settlers had expanded to 20,000 living in 32 settlements."  The former population governed by Syria,  the population of the Quneitra Governorate numbers 79,000.

This population consists mostly of Moslems.  The smaller Christian communities are made up of Greek Orthodox and Latin Orthodox who live mainly in Ramallah, Bethlehem and Beit Jala.  Living in the Golan Heights are the Druzses.  Today Bethlehem is 2/3 Muslim.  Ramallah today is the sea of Fatah.

The status of the administered areas had not changed since June 1967 until 1973 as it was pending a peace settlement in which the borders between Israel and its neighbors would be then decided.  It is that of territories occupied during a war.  Israel had not annexed any part of the areas by 1973.  East Jerusalem was reunited in June 1967 with West Jerusalem.
                                                                               

 Ismail Haniyeh, elected January 25, 2006, Hamas Prime Minister, changed to Salam Fayyad by Abbas on June 14, 2007, remains disputed, taken over as head of Gaza.  .

Israel administered them because they were attacked in June 1967 by all the Arab nations and won this war that lasted 6 days.  This meant that until a peace settlement was arrived at, Israel had a basic policy that they followed.

1. Maintain security for all, Israelis and Arabs alike.
2. People under Israel administration would live normal lives without losing contact with other Arabs.
3. Make possible economic development happen quickly.
4. Encourage co-existence and cooperation between Arabs and Israelis. to set example for future relations between the 2 peoples.

Summary up to 1973:  October 6, 1973 was the Yom Kippur War or 6 Day War
1.  Goals were being attained.
2. Areas were quiet and thriving.
3. Local affairs administered by local population.
4. Open bridges on the Jordan allowed movement in both directions between areas and Arab States.Before 1967 they lived separated lives.

Who administered the Administered Areas in Accordance with International Law?
1. Israel Defence forces appointed military governors (army officer) for each of the 4 areas. Each of these commanders were sovereign and responsible for military (security) and civilian branches (economic and social services).  .
2.  Local affairs were to be administered by the Arab population through existing bodies such as municipalities and police.  Because of this self governing, the staff of the Israeli Military administration was very small.  there were 500 staff members in Judaea and Samaria and Gaza compared with 12,500 local personnel.
3. In Judaea and Samaria there were 23 municipalities and 31 rural councils.
4. In Gaza and North Sinai there were 3 municipalities and 7 rural councils.
Following Jordanian law, there were elections in 1972.  They had  lively election campaigns.  Candidates were on TV.  voter participation was 75%.  Half of the mayors were replaced by new ones.

Changes:

Major conflict erupted in Gaza in December 2006, when the Hamas executive authority attempted to replace the Palestinian police as the primary authority in Gaza.   Schools in Samaria and Judaea teach hatred towards Jews.  Their maps do not show Israel-the land is labeled "Palestine." Children are brainwashed through songs, TV children's programs to hate and to kill Jews.

 May 2012, a new Fatah government appointment in the "West Bank", in a move that has angered the Hamas government in Gaza, which slammed the decision to form a new cabinet, accusing Abbas’s Palestinian Authority and the Fatah movement he heads of abandoning reconciliation. 

On September 2012, Ismail Haniya, head of the Hamas government in Gaza, announced a cabinet reshuffle, appointing seven new ministers including a new finance minister. Haniya said the reshuffle was "normal procedure after nearly six years of work by some ministers and in order to achieve specific goals for the current period. 

April 23, 2014, Fatah and Hamas have reconciled.  They say they will have elections in 6 

months.   

Recent Peace talks ended.between Israel and Fatah  1967 to 2014 --No peace decisions in

past 47  years.  

Pope Francis visited areas and has invited Israel and Palestinian leaders to the Vatican for peace talks.  He 

offered the invitation on Sunday while in Bethlehem. Incidentally, Bethlehem had 8,820 population in 1945. 

 Today it is a Palestinian city.  In 2007 it had 25,266.  Most Christians have left.  The Palestinians blamed 

the Israeli travel regulations, but "however, other commentators attribute the diminishing Christian population primarily to persecution of Christians by Muslims."  This is something the Pope asked Abbas to start protecting; the Christians.

USA's State Department Still Doesn't Understand Meaning of Jewish Recognition

The number one expectation that Israel needs from the Palestinians is that they recognize Israel as a Jewish state.   The USA's spokeswoman for the State Department, Jen Psaki, told the "Al-Quds" (name for Jerusalem in Arabic) newspaper that the Palestinians don't need to recognize Israel as a Jewish state in the peace agreement if they don't wish to do so!!!

What?  Has Israel now become occupied and run by the USA and they can change the provisions of a peace treaty at their will?  What kind of peace negotiating is this?

Sorry, but this is not going to be met by Netanyahu or the knesset with joy and approval.  This is such an  important point yet the USA doesn't understand what the consequences are legally that can happen if they don't recognize Israel as a Jewish state and yet they are so obvious.  Israel cannot be in a situation where they will be forced to accept millions of Palestinians in Israel.  It's only 8,000 square miles as it is and would be flooded with Palestinians changing the country completely into another Muslim state to be run by Emirs or Kings, whatever, people like the rest of the Muslim states.  Then the Jews would be slaughtered and Israel would be destroyed.
                                     
The reason Israel was created in the very first place was to have a safe place for Jews to live in, free of hatred and Holocausts and people trying to convert them to their religion.  It is to be a haven for our people.  After being set upon for the past 2,000 years by others, the League of Nations saw that it was high time that Jews could be left alone in peace, and this was before the Holocaust.   Stating it is a Jewish State is their only protection from keeping it from being consumed by the Muslims states.  Netanyahu knows why they won't accept Israel as a Jewish state, and it has to do with the Arabs then having the right of return on the table to flood Israel with Arabs.  Why can't the USA state department see one move ahead?

Showing that there is no way that Palestinians are even considering to make peace, like Jordan did, was the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen, who said  "There is not a chance that he and the Palestinian nation will recognize Israel as a Jewish state".  Jordan already took over 80% of the promised Jewish Homeland and has been peaceful with Israel since the War of 1973.  The same goes for Egypt.  Sadat came to Jerusalem and made peace.  Egypt hasn't been trying to take over Israel's land.  Neither Egypt nor Jordan have accepted Israel as a Jewish state, however.  Their behavior so far hasn't called for Israel's needing it.  They made peace.
                                                                       

The concept and goals of a Palestine have been very undemocratic and quite like the Nazis.    They're demanding that Judea and Samaria must be all theirs and that no Jew can live there.  That's calling for the removal of about 400,000 Jews.  They want East Jerusalem, and Jerusalem is and has been since the beginning of recorded time the capital of the Jewish people.  To have a people drooling at the mouth to take over your country including a quarter of your capital  is just not going to happen.  Besides that, they've had many a Freudian slip that they plan on taking over all of Jerusalem.  It goes with the Hamas charter.   Fatah has joined Hamas in the past, only to be divided over who is the leader of both.  The only difference is that Hamas is hitting at Israel directly while Fatah has pulled the wool over the eyes of the world in pretending to want peace.  Sure, peace, like teaching their children with maps showing Palestine and no Israel, teaching songs of hatred for Jews.  They are fighting the battle between Jews and Palestinians with massive brain washing of their own people and this in turn has brain-washed many others as well.

 There has to be space between for security with a people unable to accept Israel on any count.  This is a people who have been attacking Jews since 1948.  There hasn't been much let-up.  Israel is still being attacked by Hamas terrorists and Fatah has had it's attacks as well; human walking bombs into restaurants and schools and such.  Hamas follows the Muslim Brotherhood Charter of destroying all of Israel and killing the Jews.  That's why it is absolutely necessary that they come to the conclusion that if they expect peace, they must accept Israel as being different from them; that they are a Jewish nation, democratic and wanting to enjoy life, and that 6 million of them, Jews, are following the laws of Moses.  Why is this so hard to accept?

Israel can't have a Palestinian state right next to them which will continue to fighting with the goal to destroy Israel.  One thing Israel is not is stupid.

All along, the Fatah Palestinians living in Judea and Samaria have been promoting hatred and denial of Israel in their culture, starting in their schools. They even celebrate the killers of Jews with lots of recognition and praise in city-wide programs.   They have done nothing to show that there will be peace between the two people.  Hamas continues to shell the parts of Israel within their scope of missile distance and vows never to make peace but to destroy Israel.  Abusive people we've got for neighbors.  And the state department thinks Israel can let them get away without recognizing them as a Jewish state?  They've got to be kidding.  Israel is not about to sign away their own land to a people who have been their enemy for the past 67 years.

Palestinian Demands from Israel for Peace

The Jewish Homeland of 1920's League of Nations giving Britain the Mandate to create it and suddenly in April 1921 the major part became Transjordan-Arab land which was 80% of the land.  It had become a British protectorate.  Then it became Jordan, an Arab state in March 1946. 2 years before Britain's mandate was finished and they departed from what was to be called Israel in May 1948.

The "Palestinian" Arabs want a state carved out of Israel, who were the Palestinian Jews.  They have not wavered one bit in their demands.  The Palestinian Arabs  are not a tribe, such as  Hashemites of Jordan were, who have been forced to take in many Palestinian Arabs.  They came from all the neighboring states of Israel.  They were created out of the bungling of England who held the mandate and who were given the order of creating the Jewish Homeland.  However, England had other ideas, and flooded Palestine with Arabs during the time when Jews, who were escaping from Germany's Hitler needed a safe haven and were denied entrance.

Here's what the Palestinian Arabs continue to demand in their "peace" discussions with Kerry.

1.  The will not accept Israel as a Jewish state.

2. They will not accept the borders of 1967 created when all the Arab nations attacked Israel and lost.

3.  They will not accept any Israelis on Palestinian land or at border crossings and expect all Jews to get out of Judea and Samaria.  They keep saying it will be Judenrein!

4.  They demand the "right of return" for millions of Arab refugees and their descendants to ISRAEL.

What part of  any one of these demands is not seen as asinine and impossible for Israel to agree to?

 Has Israel just lost a war we are not aware of and in the position of ceding everything they have struggled to have for the past 65 years?  

What the Palestinians have done after Israel left Gaza has been to have their own squabble as to who is their leader with Hamas terrorists winning that round and kicking out Fatah into Judea and Samaria.  They are a divided group to start with and did not abide by the peaceful terms of which Israel left Gaza.  That was for peace between the two entities.  It turned out to be just the opposite.

 The Arabs have bombarded southern Israel since 2001 with rockets, mortars and missiles.  They do not keep their word and are not a peaceful people.  Their agenda or charter is that of the Muslim Brotherhood of which Obama was promoting in the Cairo talk after becoming president.  He continued to favor them throughout the Arab Spring which took place in Egypt with Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood president, was "elected."  He has withheld monies from Egypt due to their getting rid of Morsi, still showing favoritism for a group who are ready to wipe out Israel. This doesn't give much credence for Kerry being aware of all the pitfalls that the Palestinians are throwing at Israel.  My fear is that he is actually very much aware of the absurdity he is expecting just to make a name for himself as some sort of peace mediator.

No  one is more tired of the calamity of Palestinians wanting their own state, that being part of Israel, than Israel is.  We know that Europe and the USA are tired of the badgering of the past 65 years, but they are not in harm's way because of it.  Israel is.  Had England carried out the mandate as so expected in the first place and had showed some spine with the Palestinians, their warring would never had carried on for so long.  In fact, according to the efforts of research of  Joan Peters in her book, "From Time Immemorial," the British brought in more  Arabs.  They have not been shown the boot.  Whereas Jews had to wait 2,000 years to get their own land back once again, the surrounding nomadic Arabs were only thinking of having a land for the first time in 1967 at the encouragement of the Arab countries who failed to win their aggressive battle against Israel then when they attacked this fledgling state of determined people who put their faith in G-d to help them.

The Palestinians were offered the chance to have their own state by the British in 1948 and they have refused up to 1967.  That's when they tested the world and  called the shots, and they saw that they still had clout.  The world, so afraid of being shut out of an oil resource, is afraid to raise their voice to the Palestinians, who are backed by all their Arab brothers.   It's either that or the world is still so anti-Semitic that they can't see that Israel is being screwed again in these ridiculous peace talks that are going nowhere.  The first requirement for peace talks should be that the Palestinians are willing to accept Israel as a Jewish state.  That's it.  That's what it is.

Sadat came to Jerusalem and made peace between Egypt and Israel.  Jordan has been peaceful for the past 41 years.  There is no indication that the Palestinian Arabs even want to be peaceful.  They're still spokesmen for the Muslim Brotherhood who have not accepted peace with Jews.  Just look at their demands.

Wait a Minute: Abbas Has No Legitimate Power

                Hamas's Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh, elected February 16, 2006

Netanyahu and Kerry have been dealing with the PA official head who has no actual power to speak for all the Arabs calling themselves the "Palestinian Arabs."  Actually, they are not from one tribe or country but a conglomeration of all the neighboring states of Israel who came in seeking work in the late 1800's with the Jewish settlers who had previously arrived from Russia.  Like the Jews who had never left, there were Arabs who had been living on the land as well and some had even bought property.  Most of them had sold their land to the Jews and had taken off for better ports such as Beirut, Damascus or Paris.

Fatah was the PLO, the Palestinian Liberation originally led by Arafat .  Mahmoud Abbas was elected as their PA (Palestinian Authority) president 10 years ago.  He had been elected to serve one term of 4 years.  He never left and there has been no other elections.   His official term has expired a long time ago.  Therefore, he does not have the electoral legitimacy in his own party.  Fatah was grounded in Gaza, but when Hamas, a party of true terrorists won their election there putting Ismail Haniyeh, voted in on February 16, 2006,  as their Prime Minister,  Fatah was kicked out to live in Judea-Samaria.  By rights, he should be finished this February as well, having served 2 full after being voted on only once for a 4 year  term.  Hamas refuses to sign any peace deal with Israel.  They have a charter that calls for Israel's destruction.  One can only imagine the threats they were able to conjure up to receive the vote of their people, voting being very new to them.

1.7 million Arabs live in Gaza. 2,100,000 Arabs live in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem.  500,000 Jews live there as well.  1.7 million Arabs live in Israel and have Israeli citizenship.   Having Abbas speak for all the Arabs of Fatah and Hamas violates the Palestinian Basic Law according to Abu Toameh, Palestinian Arab Israeli citizen who is a reporter for "The Jerusalem Post."  .  This allows for "constitutional and legislative anarchy in the Palestinian territories, for he has remained in power past his allowed term.  He cannot sign a peace agreement with Israel in the name of the "Palestinians" being they are a divided group.

Hamas is so violent a group that at a recent gathering of young Arabs in Gaza, he preached that educating the future generation to love death for the sake of Allah as much as our enemies love life should be their motto.  It was Golda Meier who had said that peace will come to Israel when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.  To love death is not the way to bring about peace.  To buy into such a philosophy is a sad comment on their culture.  We all know we must die eventually, but it is not a normal act to seek death out and prefer death over life, especially when you are just reaching your adult years.  This must be why Jews seek out the profession of medicine, to assist long life for all.  "May you live till your 120th year" is our wish at birthday events, for Moses lived till he was 120.  Palestinians have talked young people, sad people, depressed people and underachievers to become suicide bombers and to seek glory in death.

The question is, if the Arabs of Fatah and Hamas were given another chance at voting, would they vote as they had been previously or would they want to choose life and peace?  Abu Toameh thinks they should be given this chance and has called for John Kerry to continue to negotiate with Abbas even though his term expired long ago.  He would like to see such an election.

Since 1948, the Arabs outside of Israel calling themselves the Palestinian Arabs have been brainwashed into destroying Israel.  If 20- 25 years accounts for a generation, they have had almost 3 generations brought up to think this way.  Gazans have been under the most violent philosophy so I would think that some may want peace by now, but that the majority would vote as they did in 2006.  This way of thinking has become their religion, and they do not love their children enough to stop hating Jews.  It is the Arabs of Israel who have acclimated to living with Jews and finding out it's not like living with lions or tigers but that the law includes them as well, so they have rights and freedom that neither Fatah or Hamas have in life.

No Peace Until All Murderers Released

Does anyone see something wrong with this?  Since when would one country make peace only on the condition that its vile murderers are released out of a prison and into their custody?  Since when would one country abide by this demand and release murderers of their people?  

It has only happened with the USA leadership in peace discussions that have been forced upon Israel after asking patiently for years to talk about having peace  with Abbas.  Abbas had quit talking and there was no peace between Fatah in Judea and Samaria and their sidekick, Hamas in Gaza with Israel.  John Kerry, Secretary of State is the leader of these talks holding out the carrot and the stick.  He's allowed Abbas, evidently, to make such demands, and Israel has had to go along or be charged with holding up peace talks.  How convenient.  Allowing the utterly impossible and then blackmailing Israel into being the stubborn mule.

The exasperating thing is that the murderers are the top of the line most horrible kind of murderers that abide in Israel's jails.  In this tiny country of democracy and common sense, the death law is non-existent unless you were one of the worst of  Nazi killers.  All of Israel's citizens are up in arms about this release of horror.  "Among the most notable cases is Damouni Saad Mohammed Ahmed, who was convicted of involvement in the brutal lynch of IDF reservist Amnon Pomerantz, age 47,  in the Gaza Strip in 1990. "  He was found stoned and burned to death.  and by that is meant hit with stones, rocks, not drugged, and then burned.  It happened on Rosh Hashanah, our major holiday of the birth of the world.  He had become lost and wandered into a refugee camp and this is how they treated him.  The mob attacked.  Ahmed was the leader of this mob attack.  It must have felt like accidentally opening the door to the pit bulls' arena.  

Too bad Israel doesn't insert a chip in them for location purposes so that they will know where they are going as protection for others.  If they try anything, it should be back to prison without anymore chances of being released.  What they all have done is unimaginable to normal people.

The Palestinians are going wild with glee in their happiness to have won this bout with Israel by getting 26 murderers released in this 2nd release.  Abbas met them in Ramallah.   They are so happy to get back these "outstanding  heroes" in their culture. Surely now they will be the impetus to create more just like them.  More murderers are scheduled to be released, of course.   Is there anyone out there ready to trade neighbors?  Or Secretary of State?

Abbas: Really Pushing the Envelope Over Jerusalem

PA President Mahmoud Abbas is so anxious to take over all of Jerusalem that he has created a Facebook page showing the PA flag superimposed over the picture of the Western Wall!  All this as peace talks have just commenced.  Wanting something belonging to another is called "coveting," and is the 10th of the 10 Commandments not to do.  "Thou shalt not want anything of your neighbor's;  his wife or anything else belonging to him."

Jerusalem is a Jewish city proven by its history.  It was created by King David as the capital of his empire, and remained the capital from  1000 BCE to 586 BCE and again was the capital from 516 BCE to 70 CE when Rome burned it and took Judah.

Though others came and ruled, it was never their capital.  "Only for Jews has it been the capital of the nation living in this Land."  Jordan had illicitly taken Judah and Samaria in 1948 CE but by coveting more land and attacking Israel in 1967, a war which the Arabs lost, the land reverted back to its proper owners, Israel.  It had been part of the package approved by the League of Nations in 1922 to be the Jewish Homeland.  Isn't it amazing how G-d moves in mysterious ways?  The Arabs coveted all of Israel but lost land instead.  It should have been a lesson to the world but this part of the 10 Commandments is ignored by all, except Israel, of course.

In 1967 after winning, Israel was able to unite the coveted Eastern section of Jerusalem with the rest of the "City of David," Jerusalem's other name.  The Jews living here are people with the longest unbroken historical association with this special city, dating back 3,000 years.  Only to Jews has Jerusalem always been the focus of national and religious aspirations.  Since 1948 it has been the seat of the President of the State, the Knesset, the Government, the Supreme Court, the Chief Rabbinate, the Hebrew University and the Israel Museum.  It's a sorry fact that the United States has not understood this and hasn't recognized it as Israel's capital.  They maintain their affairs in Tel Aviv.  They're afraid of angering the Arabs.

The holiest shrine for Jews is the Western Wall in Jerusalem, the one Abbas has superimposed his flag over now that he has thrilled everyone by sitting down at the peace table.  This wall dates back to the time of the 2nd Temple.  When the war of 1967, which was won in 6 days was concluded, Moshe Dayan arranged that the Muslims would still control the mosque of Al Aqsa on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which is their holy shrine in Jerusalem.  The Muslims administer the area and do not allow Jews near it.  They cannot even pray at a distance.  The mosque is built over the Temple's site and this  is why observant Jews want to pray, but can't there.  We only had the one temple, built by King David's son, King Solomon.  It was he who was known as a peaceful king, standing for peace and wisdom.  It had been rebuilt in the same site.  That was our most precious remainder of our religion, and now, because of Moshe Dayan's generosity and good heartedness, find that they are only left with the Western Wall.

Our Tanakh (Old Testament) is full of references about Jerusalem.  Zechariah, 8,3 said, "Jerusalem shall be called "the city  of truth."  So let the truth come out about Jerusalem's city and why is must remain as a whole city under the auspices of Israel.  Notice in the picture above that all 3 religions are viewed; the wall, Christian churches and the Mosque.  All have been honored by Israel.  There is no reason to tear apart this holy city.

Psalms 122:6  said, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you will be serene.  May there be peace within your wall, serenity within your palaces.  For the sake of my brethren and my comrades, I shall speak of peace in your midst.  For the sake of the House of "Hashem (G-d), our G-d, I will request good for you." "The built-up Jerusalem is like a city that is united together."  "Jerusalem, which is bound firmly together."  It has been united under one mayor.  Jerusalem by name, as it is in the Tanakh 622 times, is not found in the Koran even once.

What's good for Jerusalem is that it remain a Jewish city, it's capital, as a whole city, not a divided one as before 1967.  Nir Barkat, Israel's present mayor, said in an interview about the peace talks on Friday, " “If the deal collapses because it hinges on the Jerusalem issue, so be it.  It is better not to make any deal than to agree to a bad deal,” Barkat told Israel Hayom .  Nir is fully aware of the condition Eastern Jerusalem was found in at the end of the 67 war when Jews could not enter for 19 years.  The word is "tragic."  

Jerusalem was divided in two-between Israel and Jordan.  Barbed wire and concrete walls separated the two parts of the city.  Jordanians didn't allow any movement of people from one part to another of the city.  Today it is a thriving city of coexistence between Jews and Arabs, between people of all faiths, and between the religious and the secular ways of living.  Since 1973 there had been a serious housing shortage so a large building program was carried out in all parts of the city, both Arab and Jewish.  The Municipality has been planning the future of the city so that a balance between ancient and modern is maintained.  

In order to appease the Arabs, Netanyahu went for 10 months without building a thing, and since the result was nothing, has decided not to ever do that again, which of course angers the Arabs who want to maintain that nothingness on the part of the Jews.  Yesterday, Israel  approved building about 1,200 more homes, but in order to do it, had to agree to freeing 26 Arab killers out of prison in a few days.  The total number of criminals is about 104 and will be released in 4 stages.  

Israel's Housing Minister, Uri Ariel, has approved construction of 1,187 apartments in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem which almost caused the Arab contingent to walk away.  They claim they do not understand why Israel is doing this and of course will complain to Kerry and the EU.  Martin Indyk of the USA group met with Abbas on Sunday in Ramallah.  After all, the Palestinian Arabs had their sites on much of the Jews' land for themselves.  

Israel has had to put up with wars with the Arabs since 1947 and attacks of mortars, missile and rockets that rain down even to this day on southern Israel from Gaza.  The Arabs were offered many times the opportunity to have their own state and instead chose trying to take it all away from the Jews.  Now it is the Arabs that are impatient?  It's only because Israel is building after being stopped for reasons that didn't pan out so many times.  What Israel has given up in land, such as Gaza, is viewed as a huge error on their part.  They did it in the promise of peace only to find that it was a piece of their land that the Arabs wanted, like the whole piece.  The Arabs think that Israel has just put up a smokescreen, but what have they been doing?  Trust is something that is earned, and it is not at this table.  Certainly not with Abbas putting up the flag of Palestine over the Western wall, even on Facebook.

Incitement Against Israel Heats Up With Peace Talks

Unbelievable as it is, the Palestinian leader,  Abbas, couldn't be coming to the peace table in good faith.  

This Palestinian Authority Chairman, Mahmoud Abbas, recently stated that there would not be a single Israeli Jew living within a future Palestinian state, so he's planning on kicking out all the Jews and having an Apartheid state.  He's been saying this for some time, now.   On the PA TV broadcast was heard that the PA state's boundaries would stretch from Rosh Hanikra to Eilat.  This is stretching from Israel's NW corner to its southern tip.   This goes along with the maps they have made showing Israel's name deleted and replaced with "Palestine."  It is what they teach their children in school.  

Such a thing has never been in past plans during the Oslo conferences.  This is pie in the sky that they are reaching for.  In my experience in the shuks, the seller asks for an outrageous price and the buyer responds with a ridiculous low sum.  The finagling goes on till they reach a happy medium that both can live with.  I don't think this is the case.  It could be that Abbas really expects to get what he demands.  The way everyone fawns over him, no wonder he expects the whole gontzeh megillah.  All the attention he has received just to sit down, finally,  does not lead to a healthy peace discussion!  
                                                                              

I've been saying that they want all of Jerusalem, not just the eastern section, and then they'll want all of Israel, and if I know it, surely the Knesset members also know it.    This comes from reading their Hamas charter that Fatah seems to be in agreement with since it's also in the Muslim Brotherhood charter.  It's too bad that we didn't ask for conditions as a preamble to sitting down this time such as ending the brainwashing of the people to be hateful towards Israel and show what they're doing to end it.  Israel is sitting down before such a thing as their recognition as a state is accepted by the Palestinians, and if it ever was, they have a funny way of showing it.  So much for expectations of  honesty and truthfulness.

Another Palestinian TV broadcast was an anti-Semitic program making violence against Jews in Judea and Samaria legitimate.  They called the Jews living there "violent thieves."  They are talking about land that was a part of the Jewish Homeland decreed by the League of Nations on July 24, 1922  and signed by all the nations of the world as being the future Jewish state. Then they charged Britain with the mandate and they were to see that it was carried out.

 The thieves were Jordanians who grabbed it in 1947 which was against the law.  But then, who upholds the law for the Jews?  Israel was accepted by the UN but attacked by the UM-united Arab Muslim irregulars who attacked first after November 29, 1947 from Syria, Lebanon and  Egypt.  Then about an hour after announcing the creation of the state on May 14, 1948, the regular armies of Egypt, Transjordan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon and a Saudi-Arabian contingent attacked.   That's when Azzam Pasha, head honcho of the Arab League said from Cairo that this would be the war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be talked about like the Mongolian massacres and Crusades.  However, they lost the battle and Israel has survived for 65 years against people with a mindset like this!

 What Israel regained in the battle of 1967 when, like a pack of dogs, all the Muslim neighbors attacked Israel who turned out to be the winner, much to every Muslim country's surprise, was land that was theirs in the first place!   Israel in fact got their own land back in that bad gamble on the Muslim's part.

The end of this nasty programming showed a religious Jew with peyote (side curls) by the ears cut them off.  This was a copy-cat scene of anti-Semitic  Nazi propaganda.  

Broadcasts of incitement  during  Ramadan, which just ended,   was a re-run of  a music video encouraging violence against Israelis.  I ask if this is the type of religious holiday that asks for this type of thing?  They also included the glorification of  murderers of 61 Israeli civilians on their Facebook page of Abbas' Fatah party.   Most civilized countries today just do not do such things.
                                                                          

With so many acts of incitement by the Palestinian leader himself,  Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sent a letter of complaint to US Secretary of State John Kerry Saturday evening.  He told him that peace talks and incitement do not go together.  If they want peace, they should be educating their people to live in peace with Israel.  They have been poisoned against Israel which only encourages continued violence and terror.  

The carrot held out to Israel to be in these peace talks is the threat of diplomatic isolation if they do not reach a peace deal with the Palestinian Authority, Abbas.  This cat came out of the bag when some top US officials met Thursday evening with a few Jewish community leaders asking for their support for the diplomatic talks between Israel and the PA.  So Israel's arm is being twisted by other Jews as well from the USA if they succumb to this threat.  It also sounds like Kerry is saying that the USA won't back Israel if they aren't compliant.    He has to be already siding with Abbas, then.  Israel is under terrific pressure while there is none on the Palestinians.  What a deal!  How else would the USA have the chutzpa to expect Israel to give up murderers of many out of prison; something they most likely would never agree to, themselves?  

The talks are to continue this week by meeting in Jerusalem on Wednesday and Jericho the following week.

Embassy Closures From 1,000 Terrorist Prison Breaks Abetted by al-Qaida

What's the harm going to be from terrorist killers, most with life sentences getting out of prison?  That's what has to happen to Israel before John Kerry can get Abbas to the peace table, and Netanyahu has had his arm twisted to go along with it.  As a result, most of Israel are up in arms about it.  Such an act is a huge threat on their life.

This morning we find out that many USA embassies have been closed today, possibly lasting for the whole month of August, because of a series of events which include the escape of over 1,000 terrorists from prison. This goes along with Interpol issuing a global alert yesterday asking for help in tracking down these escaped prisoners.

Evidently there has been a wave of prison breaks this past 30 days or so in Iraq, Pakistan and Libya.  Interpol is wondering if they were coordinated or linked breakouts.
                               
Our USA State Department first had ordered almost 24 American embassies closed in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia  because al-Qaida or its affiliates in Yemen might be plotting attacks for today onward.  Britain, France and Germany are also following suit in Yemen.

The prison breaks occurred in late July which freed about 200 prisoners from 2 prisons in Iraq of which one was Abu Ghraib.  This is the prison in Baghdad where America was accused of torturing prisoners in order to get information.   Mortars were used by the prisoners' friends on the guarding Iraqi forces as well as suicide bombers who punched holes in the Iraqi defenses and then had an assault force that freed the terrorists.

About 2 days later, more than 1,000 terrorists escaped from a prison near (of all places), Benghazi, Libya, where we lost our American Ambassador to a terrorist attack.  Libya's prime minister thinks local residents are responsible for the jailbreak which is not what the security officials responsible thought.

Also, in Pakistan  the ancient Dera Ismail Khan prison which is outside of Pakistan's tribal belt, the prison compound was stormed by about 150 fighters who blew holes in the outside wall.  Some were disguised as police officers.  They had used megaphones to call names of prisoners they wanted to free and to chant "God is great" and Long live the Taliban," so we know who they were.   250 terrorists were freed.

Our State Department has issued a global warning of possible terror plots against any Western facilities in the world coming from al-Qaida or their  connected groups.  The Interpol has followed with their own alert.  We have found out that information was from electronic intercepts of senior al-Qaida operatives talking about their evil plots.  General Martin Dempsey has said that these are more specific pieces of information than has been procured in the past.

The ironic bit of all this is that President Barack Obama in a May speech had already assured the public that al-Qaida and its affiliate groups had been destroyed, taken out, eviscerated.   by our counter-terrorism operations.

What we have done in Yemen, where the center of terrorism is coming from is an "aggressive drone war which extends into Pakistan.  We've hit Yemen 3 times this past week.

Many terrorists freed in the past from Israel's prisons in bartering for peace have just gone back to their old habits and continue with their terrorist activities.  This is asking a lot from Israel who is such a small country of 8,000 square miles anyway.

 The terrorists freed by al-Qaida have the whole world in their line of fire for attacks with the USA in its sights for sure.  All travelers must be on guard and have their eyes open to anything strange, such as a suitcase standing alone in an airport.  Going to highly attended events could also be worrisome.  Transportation  of all kinds is threatened by such terrorists.

Meanwhile, Al-Qaida is a major player in Egypt's politics.  The terrorist leader, Ayman al-Zawahri,  who is all for the Muslim Brotherhod,   is pushing for armed resistance against Egypt's military.  He's against the Christian Coptics as well and accuses them of conspiring against Morsi because he was an Islamist.  He leaves out the fact that the Brotherhood has attacked and chased out all Jews and has now turned against the Christian community.  It's taken the death of about  280 people so far to remove Morsi, who has been the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.  There's likely to be a long hot month of civil disobedience in Cairo as well.

Getting back to John Kerry's peace talks,  a terrorist regime would require their compadres to be freed.  They see no harm in killing women and children and old people in their completely unreasonable delusions of "owning Israel" or all of "Palestine."  It's a delusion just like Ariel Castro's of Cleveland, Ohio, who kept 3 women in chains in his house who said on TV  yesterday that they were consenting adults and were sometimes even asking for sex and that he's innocent.  Israel is asked to do something very oppositional while the Palestinians haven't been asked to do a thing except to sit down and listen for 9 months.

To Talk or Not to Talk, That is the Question John Kerry is Asking

Evidently neither Israel nor the Palestine Authority were aware of Secretary of State John Kerry's decision to publicize a story announcing on Friday evening that both of them had agreed to resume talks in Washington, possibly as early as this week.  It was news to both of them!

Some people think this has been done as a pressure tactic and is trying to dare both of them not to show up.  The truth is that neither party has publicly endorsed Kerry's framework for restarting talks.  Gosh, and Arabs like to think that Israel is so untrustworthy. Israel has Gaza to remember which turned into a shooting platform to hit southern Israel.  Israel gave that back for an exchange of peace.  How honest were the Arabs with Israel?  How can Israel trust them?

 Look at Kerry go.  He's such a newbee at the shuk!  One of the spokesmen is Yasser Abed-Rabbo, secretary-general of the PLO.  He talked on Palestine radio and said that "direct talks would be "conditioned on many clarifications about core issues," and that several "sticking points" remain unresolved.  But his side has not yet confirmed it will resume direct talks.

Yes, Yasser.  That's what a meeting is for:  to talk about the core issues and to clarify them as well as these unresolved sticking points.  I guess he wants it all settled before they all sit down for tea and crumpets to sign papers.  The Palestinians don't want to do the palavering.

Pressure on Israel is coming from the EU who on Friday decided to not award any funding, grants, scholarships or prizes to Jews living in Judea and Samaria or in the Golan Heights or East Jerusalem.  They are pushing harder to make Israel accept a peace deal with Palestine, which would look something like handing over all of Israel to them, no doubt and kicking everyone out except a few 90 year old sabras. Pressure is coming from Kerry as well as the media who keep rubbing in the fact that this is his 6th trip to the region to try to restart talks between the Israelis and Palestinians.  Of course Kerry doesn't talk about the Palestinian leadership which is divided between Hamas and Fatah with Hamas having taken over Gaza years ago and just happen to be out and out terrorists.  What kind of a deal can be made with a minor representative such as Abbas of Fatah?

Kerry has set his working sites on this situation in his new position.  Is he starting with the easiest or hardest or most important goal on his list?  He's ignoring the 2 year old civil war "raging" in Syria that has taken over 100,000 lives so far (100,191+) that has affected the lives of the 22,505,000 Syrians.  Is he ignoring the threat of Iran against Israel with nuclear weaponry?  Believe me, that will affect all the countries surrounding Israel as well.   Netanyahu feels that Iran has about 2 more weeks to reach the red line, he said last week. He spoke on July 14th about their nearness and the world's distraction to this problem by Syria and Egypt.     Aren't the EU people worried about these other problems?  Why are they trying to interfere with  the  borders of Israel?  That's not in their realm of decisions.
                                                                       

About 320,000 Jews live in 250 towns and cities in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem.  1.6 million Arabs are living in Israel and are citizens, just like the Jewish ones.  Is the EU made up of only Catholics?

Oh yes, the Palestinians keep on saying that they WANT all of Judea and Samaria as a state and will call it Palestine.  Actually, they lost that chance, didn't they, in 1967 when they declared war on Israel and lost?  They have been asked since then, for 46 years, to make peace with Israel and haven't.  Was there really any reason why Israel should stay out of land they won fairly and squarely that was theirs anyway according to the League of Nations in about 1922?  For people to wait for 46 years to establish a state of their own, I wonder as to the necessity of such a move or if they are prepared to be state builders?

Now we know that the EU is backing down from Muslim pressure.  They are backing the Palestinians who are demanding to take land illegally.  Why?  All the Arab states stand with the Palestinians and they have oil.  It's a matter of the righteous losing over the mighty.  They seem to forget that back in 1967 Israel stood up to them all and overcame all the odds.  Israel won.  Just who was on Israel's side then?  Perhaps the EU is backing the wrong horse in this race.

So, You Want to Talk About the Six Day War of 1967?

The Palestinians are talking to Netanyahu and Kerry only on the basis of talking about the pre-1967 borders of Israel.  In other words, they want to get what Israel has after being attacked by all the Muslim countries in 1967's June 5th to June 11th Six Day War.  They lost that terrible attack and now they want to erase that fact because it cost them.  Secretary of State John Kerry had to give Mahmoud Abbas a letter saying that the meeting is centered on this.

They had lost face again and they lost the rights to Judea and Samaria which rightfully was not theirs to be had in the first place.  Jordan had illegally just taken it over and occupied it in 1948 when Israel was battling for its very life.  It had been awarded to Israel as part of the Jewish Homeland by the League of Nations which every country in the world had signed onto.  As it turned out, Israel had to be satisfied with 20% of the promised Holy land while the Arabs, who have more land than they can handle, got 80% of it.  Why?  Oil.  The land they sit on has oil that the rest of the world needs.  Therefore promises have been broken in the name of economics and greed. The 67 war allowed Gaza, Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem to come into Israel's hands as they did not start this war.  That must have been quite a picture:  4 large Arab nations with help from other Arab states against the only Jewish state of infinitesimal size who has the audacity to win!

So far, the Arabs have lost every battle they've started with Israel, and so they also blame the USA for that because Israel has bought weapons from the USA.  However, there never has been an American soldier fighting in America's name; only Jews, and mostly have been Israelis.  Jews entered Canaan under G-d's directions.  We feel we have still had G-d help. After all, the odds were all on the Arab's side to win in 1967, and they didn't.

    Israelites lived here under King David and son King Solomon (I Kings 5:4)Moses had led the Israelites out of Egypt.  Moses (1391 BCE-1271 BCE)  Jerusalem fell to the Romans in 70 CE.  Jews have been suffering from anti-Semitic actions ever since.  Israel was re-established May 14, 1948.

What they should rehash is the escalation which resulted in the Six Day War which consisted of 5 stages so that they won't happen again.

President Nasser of Egypt threatened on March 8, 1965, "We shall not enter Palestine with its soil covered in sand.  We shall enter it with its soil saturated in blood."  This war was highly pre-meditated and was to be a bloodshed for the Jews of Israel.

1. Syria, Egypt and the Soviet Union spread false reports of concentrations of Israeli forces on the Syrian frontier. They ignored on the spot reports by the UN that no such concentrations existed.  They fabricated such lies to have an excuse to attack.  Their reason for attack was to destroy and take Israel's 8,000 square miles.  Syria has 71,500 square miles and Egypt has 387,048 square miles already.  The Soviet Union had 8,144,228 square miles.

2.  The false reports were used by Egypt as a pretext for concentrating the bulk of its army in Sinai- 90,000 men and 900 tanks.

3. Egypt demanded that the UN Emergency Force withdraw on May 16th and they did which concluded the barrier they had been between Egypt and Israel.  Therefore Israel can never depend on outside help.They had been there since the 1956 Arab attack.

4. Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran  on May 22, 1967 to all navigation destined to Israel and called for war.THEY DECLARED WAR AGAINST ISRAEL.

5.  The Arab States formed a war pact against Israel.  The armies of:
     EGYPT, -led the pack
     JORDAN
     IRAQ
    SYRIA  began to concentrate their forces along the frontiers with Israel.  The Jordanian army was under the command of an Egyptian officer.

Arab leaders made speeches during this period affirming publicly their intention to destroy Israel.
President Nasser said on May 26, 1967:
"The Arab people want to fight.  We have been waiting for the right day when we would be fully prepared.  Recently , we have felt strong enough to triumph with God's help if we enter into battle with Israel.  On that basis, we have decided to take the actual measures.  Taking this step makes it imperative that we be ready to embark on a TOTAL WAR with Israel.

President Aref of Iraq spoke on June 1, 1967 on Radio Baghdad and said,
"We are resolved, determined and united to achieve our clear aim of wiping Israel off the map.  This is the day to wash away the stain.  God willing, we shall meet in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Leader of PLO-Ahmed Shukairi on June 4, 1967 on native born Israelis:
"Those who survive will remain in "Palestine," but I estimate that not many of them will survive."

Israel waited for 3 weeks from May 15th for international intervention to stop the escalation and remove the threat from its frontiers.  The Great Powers and the United Nations were incapable of effecting any change in the situation.  On June 5th, war broke out.

About 250,000 Arab troops with almost half in the Sinai, more than 2,000 tanks and 700 aircraft ringed Israel.  

In 6 days, Israel destroyed the armies that had massed along its frontiers and menaced its vital centers.  Cease-fire lines were established along the Suez Canal, the Jordan River and the Golan Heights.  The Straits of Tiran were once again open to navigation.  Jerusalem was re-unified.  Israel had conquered more than triple the size of the area it controlled from 8,000 to 26,000 square miles.  Israel won the Sinai, Golan Heights, Gaza Strip and Judea and Samaria and unified Jerusalem.  Israel lost 777 soldiers and 2,586 were wounded.  It compares to the USA's 8 years of fighting in the war in Vietnam as far as population goes.  Cease fire was invoked on June 10th as Israeli forces broke through enemy lines and were in a position to march on Cairo, Damascus and Amman, Jordan.  The Arabs called "UNCLE!"

I would give them Bupkas!  Netanyahu is giving them back some of the killer Palestinians that have been in Israeli prisons. The Arabs want 350 of which 100 had been the deadliest of killers.   They are to be released in phases.  Their charges range from rock throwers, deadly assaults, shooting attacks to bombers.

Tzipi Livni, Israel's female negotiator, said she is hopeful after years of mistrust.
